Going by last week, I think this will be a dull affair for a Friday night, and might be better spent playing pool in the pub, or watching paint dry. 13th v 14th is hardly ever going to get the blood flowing, and if St Kilda try bog the play down and with Country Roads getting blasted less and less - it'll really be a tough watch.

Still, tipping Brisbane up there and as usual a couple of opposition players to bag a few goals, and especially only ones that are reliable in this match. I see it being slow and low scoring.

I think the bookies have this one wrong, and I'm backing the Dockers to come out strong after having a week off. The Dogs are still nursing a wealth of injuries more than double of Freo, plus young gun Darcy still out, and the last game Freo played they flogged Melbourne by 92 points.

It was a bizarre week last week, and the only thing weirder than Hawks beating GWS, was Richmond beating Adelaide, in Adelaide. However, the Tiges will only hang on to this win for the week, as the Hawks are on an absolute roll and will not have Richmond derailing their finals dreams.

Hawthorn to win comfortably, and a few Tiger forwards to try their heart out to cement their spot in the future.

Sydney are well overdue for a loss to get them more grounded, but Adelaides current form suggests they aren't the ones to give it to them. Adelaide have only won 2 from 7 games at home this year, and after last weeks loss against Richmond I think the supporters would rather go hit up a winery.

Sydney to win comfortably, but an extra step closer to fumbling a match.

Collingwood's yo yo season continues with a strong win over Melbourne on the Kings Birthday. They'll be looking at easily slotting away the Kangaroos and firming up their spot in the 8. They've got a tough end to the year, so they'll 100% want to ensure they put away the Roos.

North, who are probably still partying celebrating in Perth after their first win of the season, will be brought back down to life, even if they are playing against a very depleted Collingwood, the Pies will be too strong.

Match of the Round alert - in my books, and to be fair that isn't difficult this week. The Giants have been in form slump with only 1 win in their last 5 encounters, and are dropping like a brick on the ladder. Port have had the week off, to reflect on their pumping from Carlton, and will be looking at sending a message.

There is more on the line for GWS, but I think Port will be too fast in the midfield - although expecting the strong agile GWS forwards to give them some trouble. Cracking game expected, but I'm backing Port.
