You are welcome to join our tipping comp after the season has started, and you are still eligible for win prizes.

How does AFL Footy Tipping work?

AFL Footy Tipping is a competition where you try to guess the winners of each AFL match of the season. Whenever you select one game correct, you are awarded one point. Whoever has the most points accumulated at the end of the season is the winner.

My Betting Sites Footy Tipping comp works exactly like this. There are no draws or wildcard betting. We however, offer prizes for the top 3 tippers at the end of the season, and also for the top tipper for each round! You must also select the margin of the first game of the round, in case there are multiple tippers who select 9.

Most workplaces, pubs offer Footy Tipping at a price. Ours is 100% free to enter, for anyone over 18+ in Australia (excluding ACT).

Can I create my own Group?

Yes. Anyone can create a group or their own tipping competition within our tipping competition.

  • Simply log in with the email address you used to sign up with or your Tipper ID.
  • On the home page (on mobile) select Groups, or under the Competition tab on desktop, select Groups.
  • Select create a new group, or join an existing group.
  • Invite your friends and family to join your tipping competition for some light hearted fun

And have fun. Also, we are having a competition for the **Best Tipper Group Name!

The winner will win a $1,000 Visa Gift Card.

So get your creative hat on!

Can I enter the season after Round 0?

Yes. You can enter the tipping competition anytime throughout the year. Entering at any stage of the competition, will allow you to be eligible for end of season prizes, and also the weekly top tipster prize.

If you are a late entrant, you will receive the average score of each round that you missed. E.g. if you come in Round 5 and the average scores are:

Round 1: 5
Round 2:
4
Round 3:
3
Round 4:
4
Round 5:
6

Your score will be 22.

Can I win top tipper more than once?

Yes. If you are an absolute jet on the tips and get the most correct (and with the closest margin) in more than one round, you are eligible to win as many times as possible. This isn't the under 12s, consolation prizes do not exist.

How do I log in and submit my tips.

  • To log in, click the log in button at the top of this page to enter the portal, or click here.
  • Click the Join or Enter Your Tips link
  • Use the details you used to sign up with
  • In the bar at the top, navigate your way to Enter My Tips
  • Choose which teams you think will win, and the margin for the first game

And good luck!

What if there are multiple winners?

For Weekly Prizes

In case there are multiple people who tip the highest for the round, users must select the margin of the first game of the round.

If by some miracle more than one tipper tipped the same amount of games correct, and the same margin for both games - the prize for that week will be awarded to the person who submitted their tips first.

End of Year Prizes

Every round of the AFL season, each tipper will need to select the margin of two games to avoid any end of year draws.

If in a snowballs chance in hell this does occur for 1st place, the two winners will share the 1st and 2nd prize. If there is a tie for 3rd place - the 3rd placed prize will be split between as many winners.

What is the accumulator?

Every week, tippers must select the margin of the first game of each round of the AFL Home and Away season. The accumulator, is the difference of how close your guess of the margin for the first game was.

E.g. If you select Collingwood to win by 25 for the margin, and Collingwood win by 10 points - your accumulator would be 15. The accumulator continually adds up the difference of the margin over the course of the season. If multiple tippers are on the same amount of tips at the end of the year, whoever has the lowest margin will be deemed the winner.

*Can anyone enter?

Only people aged 18+ who are a resident in Australia may enter. You may only enter the competition once.

Residents from the ACT are excluded from the competition.

**What is the "Best Tipper Group Name" competition?

We will be giving away a prize for the best group name as voted by you on our Facebook page. Entries will close as of Monday 18th of March at 11:59pm. The end date will depend on the amount of entries, but the head to heads will begin before the start of Round 2.

Entry Requirements

  • Your group must have at least 5 unique and active tippers
Any duplicate names or inactive tippers found in your Group and you will be forfeit. We're not talking about 1 or 2 missed rounds, but more an account that was made and never touched again. And apologies if you're a legit group of peopled named John Smith, but honestly that's just weird anyway.

  • Only one Group can be created per tipper
You are free to join as many groups as you please, however only one of the Groups that you create (if you create multiple) - will be eligible to win.

  • Nothing offensive or vulgar
Any Group name that contains any offensive or vulgar language will not be tolerated and will not be eligible to enter the competition. Although we do like a bit of banter, just keep it clean.

The winner with the best voted Group name will win a $1,000 Visa Gift Card, so get your mates involved!!

3AW Footy Tipping 2024

Melbourne's favourite news and talk radio station, 3AW, is no longer hosting a free footy tipping competition this year for 2024. Although on their website they have received plenty of interest, they seem to have pulled the plug at the last minute with hopes that they will be able to return in 2025.

Check out the link below to see the statement on their website.

SEN AFL Tipping 2024

SEN is another popular radio station that is running an AFL Tipping comp in 2024. SEN has a high prize pool of $20k, although it is a bit tougher than 3AW as SEN is a national radio station, so you'll be competing against many more people.

SEN has a top prize of a $5,000 Visa Gift Card. However, their weekly prize isn't the greatest of a $100 AUD Tyrepower Voucher.

But if you're a top tipper who is looking at signing up to a few, they are worth a look in. Even if they do steal our content.
