In most CS:GO matches, teams must win 2 out of 3 maps to win the match.
A Match Line will be given as a +/- so that one team has a positive handicap and the other has a negative handicap.
Let's say that EXTREMUM are playing Fnatic and the Match Line is +1.5 rounds for EXTREMUM and -1.5 for Fnatic.
EXTREMUM must win, or lose by one map, for the Match Line bet on them to be successful (because they get a +1.5 map advantage).
Fnatic must win by two maps for a Match Line bet on them to be successful (because they get a -1.5 map disadvantage).
- Round Line
Just like a Match Line bet, a Round Line bet is a bet on which team will win the most rounds with a handicap applied.
This time the handicap is given as a number of rounds.
Let's say that EXTREMUM are playing Fnatic and the Round Line is +6.5 rounds for EXTREMUM and -6.5 for Fnatic.
EXTREMUM must win more rounds, or lose by fewer than 7 rounds, for the Round Line bet on them to be successful (because they get a +6.5 round advantage).
Fnatic must win by more than 7 rounds for a Round Line bet on them to be successful (because they get a -6.5 round disadvantage).
Round Line bets can be for the whole match or for specific maps.
- Correct Score (Map or Rounds)
A Correct Score bet is exactly what it sounds like. You must pick the exact number of maps or rounds each team will win.
- Total Maps, Rounds or Kills (Over/Under)
Total Over/Under bets require you to decide whether the total number of maps, rounds, or kills will be over or under a certain number.
Let's say that EXTREMUM are playing Fnatic and the Total Rounds given for Map 1 are over or under 24.5.
If you bet "over 24.5" there must be 25 rounds or more played in Map 1, if you bet "under 24.5" there must be 24 rounds or less played for Map 1.
You can also bet on the Total Team Maps or Total Team Rounds that a team will win (instead of just the total number of maps or rounds to be played).
- Futures/Outright Winners
Futures or Outright bets are bets on which team will win an entire tournament.
For major tournaments, CS:GO betting sites may also allow you to bet on whether a team makes the semi-finals or finals.
- Race to # Rounds
This bet is when you pick which team will be first to win a certain number of rounds eg. which team will be first to win 3, 6, 9, 12 or 15 rounds in a given map.
- Winning Margin
Winning Margin bets are bets on how much a team will win a certain map by eg. by 2-5 rounds, 6-9 rounds, 10-13 rounds or 14+ rounds.
- First Blood
First Blood bets are bets on which team or player will get the first kill of a certain round, map, or match.
First Blood bets may also be specific for pistol rounds.
- Method of Victory
Method of Victory bets are when you decide how a certain team will win a round.
CS:GO Methods of Victory include:
- Bomb Detonated: The terrorists' C4 explodes
- Bomb Defused: The counter-terrorists defuse the terrorists' C4 before it explodes
- Time: The round-timer runs out before the terrorists can plant C4
- Elimination: Either the terrorists or counter-terrorists kill all of the players on the opposing team
- Bomb Detonated: The terrorists' C4 explodes
- Pistol Round Bets
Pistol Round bets are when you bet on whether a team will win both pistol rounds or not. For each team, you can bet "yes" or "no".
Pistol round bets may also be combined with Map Winner bets eg. "yes" or "no" to Win Both Pistol Rounds and Win Map.
- Bomb Bets
You can also bet on whether the total number of planted or defused bombs by each team will be over or under a certain number for a given map.
- Clutch & Ace Bets
You can bet on which team will get the most clutches or aces, or whether a team's total number of clutches or aces will be over a certain number.
- Clutch: When the last living player from a team wins a round by killing two or more opposition players
- Ace: When a single player from a team kills all 5 opposition players
