Why are sites with 4 stars higher than sites with 5 stars?
Good question, that's because our star ratings are general ratings - not specific to CS:GO betting (i.e. Picklebet is not great for sports or racing betting but it is for CS:GO betting so that's why it's at the top of the list on this page).

Bet on CS:GO
Believe it or not, there are hundreds of ways to bet on CS:GO online in Australia.
Before you get started with any CS:GO betting, you will need to be over 18 and have an online sports betting account.
Before you bet on CS:GO:
- Choose a CS:GO betting site from this page
- Create your free betting account
- Make your first deposit
After creating a betting account with one of Australia's best CS:GO betting websites you'll need to understand how CS:GO betting works.
How to Bet on CS:GO
Betting on CS:GO in Australia is just like betting on any other sport - you choose an outcome (like the match winner or team to get the first kill) and decide how much you want to bet.
Your winnings will be paid out soon as the betting market closes and the amount of money you win will equal the odds multiplied by your bet stake.
For example, if you bet that EXTREMUM will beat Fnatic and the odds of this are 4.33 then a $10 bet will return $43.30.
See all the most popular CS:GO bet types here.
How to Place a CS:GO Bet
Placing a CS:GO bet is pretty simple provided you have a betting account and money in your account.
How to place a bet on CS:GO
- Login to your betting account
- Head to the "esports" section
- Select "CS:GO"
- Find the CS:GO match you want to bet on
- Choose the CS:GO bet type you want
- Select the odds for your CS:GO bet
- Enter your bet stake
- Select "Place Bet"
Here I am betting on Astralis Talent to beat AGO at odds of 10.00. My bet stake is $10 and if I win my bet will return $100.
CS:GO Bet Types
CS:GO betting can be as simple or as intricate as you want it to be.
The top CS:GO betting sites in Australia have a huge range of CS:GO betting options - the most popular of which are explained below.
Ways to bet on CS:GO
Match, Map or Round Winner
This is the most simple CS:GO bet type. You choose which team you think will win the overall match, a specific map or a single round.
This CS:GO bet type is pretty similar to a Match Result bet because you must choose which team will win a match with a handicap of maps applied.
In most CS:GO matches, teams must win 2 out of 3 maps to win the match.
A Match Line will be given as a +/- so that one team has a positive handicap and the other has a negative handicap.
Let's say that EXTREMUM are playing Fnatic and the Match Line is +1.5 rounds for EXTREMUM and -1.5 for Fnatic.
EXTREMUM must win, or lose by one map, for the Match Line bet on them to be successful (because they get a +1.5 map advantage).
Fnatic must win by two maps for a Match Line bet on them to be successful (because they get a -1.5 map disadvantage).
Just like a Match Line bet, a Round Line bet is a bet on which team will win the most rounds with a handicap applied.
This time the handicap is given as a number of rounds.
Let's say that EXTREMUM are playing Fnatic and the Round Line is +6.5 rounds for EXTREMUM and -6.5 for Fnatic.
EXTREMUM must win more rounds, or lose by fewer than 7 rounds, for the Round Line bet on them to be successful (because they get a +6.5 round advantage).
Fnatic must win by more than 7 rounds for a Round Line bet on them to be successful (because they get a -6.5 round disadvantage).
Round Line bets can be for the whole match or for specific maps.
Correct Score (Map or Rounds)
A Correct Score bet is exactly what it sounds like. You must pick the exact number of maps or rounds each team will win.
Total Maps, Rounds or Kills (Over/Under)
Total Over/Under bets require you to decide whether the total number of maps, rounds, or kills will be over or under a certain number.
Let's say that EXTREMUM are playing Fnatic and the Total Rounds given for Map 1 are over or under 24.5.
If you bet "over 24.5" there must be 25 rounds or more played in Map 1, if you bet "under 24.5" there must be 24 rounds or less played for Map 1.
You can also bet on the Total Team Maps or Total Team Rounds that a team will win (instead of just the total number of maps or rounds to be played).
Futures or Outright bets are bets on which team will win an entire tournament.
For major tournaments, CS:GO betting sites may also allow you to bet on whether a team makes the semi-finals or finals.
Race to # Rounds
This bet is when you pick which team will be first to win a certain number of rounds eg. which team will be first to win 3, 6, 9, 12 or 15 rounds in a given map.
Winning Margin bets are bets on how much a team will win a certain map by eg. by 2-5 rounds, 6-9 rounds, 10-13 rounds or 14+ rounds.
First Blood bets are bets on which team or player will get the first kill of a certain round, map, or match.
First Blood bets may also be specific for pistol rounds.
Method of Victory
Method of Victory bets are when you decide how a certain team will win a round.
CS:GO Methods of Victory include:
- Bomb Detonated: The terrorists' C4 explodes
- Bomb Defused: The counter-terrorists defuse the terrorists' C4 before it explodes
- Time: The round-timer runs out before the terrorists can plant C4
- Elimination: Either the terrorists or counter-terrorists kill all of the players on the opposing team
- Bomb Detonated: The terrorists' C4 explodes
Pistol Round Bets
Pistol Round bets are when you bet on whether a team will win both pistol rounds or not. For each team, you can bet "yes" or "no".
Pistol round bets may also be combined with Map Winner bets eg. "yes" or "no" to Win Both Pistol Rounds and Win Map.
You can also bet on whether the total number of planted or defused bombs by each team will be over or under a certain number for a given map.
Clutch & Ace Bets
You can bet on which team will get the most clutches or aces, or whether a team's total number of clutches or aces will be over a certain number.
- Clutch: When the last living player from a team wins a round by killing two or more opposition players
- Ace: When a single player from a team kills all 5 opposition players
There are more CS:GO betting markets than these but if you're new to CS:GO betting sites then these should satisfy you pretty well.
If you're interested, know that you can also bet on whether the number of rounds played for a certain map will be even or odd, which maps will be played, which player will get the most kills and you can even bet on whether a round will go to overtime.
CS:GO Match Betting
CS:GO match betting refers to CS:GO betting that occurs on any professional CS:GO match.
Punters use the terms CS:GO match betting to differentiate CS:GO betting (which is legal and controlled) from CS:GO gambling (which is illegal and does not involve real money betting but instead the gambling of CS:GO skins).
The most popular CS:GO match bets are Match Winner bets (which team will win), Correct Map Score bets (how many maps will each team win), Team Total Round bets (how many rounds a certain team will win), and Team Total Map bets (how many maps a certain team will win).

Is CS:GO betting legal in Australia?
Unlike CS:GO skin gambling, betting on CS:GO matches is 100% legal in Australia. You must be over 18 to join a betting site and to bet on CS:GO in Australia.
CS:GO is recognized as a legitimate professional sport and as such betting on CS:GO with licensed Australian betting sites is allowed. Thousands of Australians already bet on CS:GO - an industry that is valued at hundreds of millions of dollars.
Who can do CS:GO betting?
In Australia, you must be over 18 and an Australian resident to create a betting account and bet on CS:GO.
What is CS:GO gambling?
CS:GO gambling is a controversial and illegal form of wagering that occurs at unlicensed gambling websites.
CS:GO gambling is centered around the wagering of virtual goods known as "skins". CS:GO gamblers may wager skins on the winners of certain professional CS:GO matches or they may play games of chance like CS:GO Crash, Roulette, Dice, Coinflip, and Jackpot.
CS:GO gambling websites are unlicensed and may accept underage players. They also have no requirements to pay taxes, regulate problem gambling, and even pay promised winnings. CS:GO gambling sites also have no controls which means that they can skew games of chance heavily in their favour so that players always lose.
CS:GO PayPal Betting
For many CS:GO punters, PayPal is the preferred way to deposit and withdraw.
PayPal is an eWallet that allows you to make instant deposits and fast withdrawals (a couple of hours to 2 days depending on your CS:GO betting site).
PayPal also provides one of the most secure ways to make online payments and it lets you keep your bank account and betting account separate so that neither institution has access to your personal information.
Most CS:GO betting sites offer PayPal (as well as a bunch of other payment options), all of which are listed below.
PayPal CS:GO Betting Sites
PayPal + Visa ● MasterCard ● Maestro ● Apple Pay ● POLi ● Bank Transfer ● Flexepin ● Paysafecard ● Cash Top Up ● Bet365 Visa ● Bet365 MasterCard ● ClicktoPay ● Cheque

CS:GO Betting Sites with No Minimum Deposit
While some punters may be interested in choosing CS:GO betting sites with no minimum deposit the reality is that all online bookmakers in Australia have a minimum deposit amount.
This ranges from $1.00 at sites like Bet365 and PlayUp to $20.00 with Unibet.
Minimum CS:GO bet amounts at most betting websites are $0.10.
CS:GO Gambling Sites
CS:GO gambling sites are online websites that allow the gambling of CS:GO skins as opposed to the real money betting that occurs as CS:GO betting sites.
CS:GO gambling sites allow users to bet virtual CS:GO goods (known as "skins") on professional matches or to gamble them in games of chance.
CS:GO gambling sites are unregulated, promote match fixing and encourage underage gambling therefore we recommend that you avoid them at all costs
For a legal alternative to CS:GO gambling sites that relies on skill and knowledge of professional CS:GO, CS:GO betting sites are a great alternative.
We only list CS:GO betting sites that hold Australian gambling licences on this page.
There are various forms of CS:GO skin gambling. These include:
CS:GO Match Gambling
Just like CS:GO match betting, CS:GO match gambling is when people bet skins on the outcomes of professional CS:GO matches. Because CS:GO match gambling is unregulated there have been cases of match-fixing whereby professional CS:GO players purposely lost matches in order to win thousands of dollars worth of skins.
CS:GO Skin Jackpot
CS:GO jackpot games work like regular online casino slots or pokie games whereby players risk keys worth a few dollars or cents for the chance to win jackpots of $1000 or more. CS:GO Skin Jackpots are popular because you have the case to win a lot but at the end of the day these games are risky and your chance of losing is always much higher than winning.
CS:GO crash is another form of CS:GO gambling that gets a lot of attention. Basically, players stake a certain amount and then watch as their winnings slowly multiply. Players can choose to cash out at any point before the "crash" occurs. If players hold on for too long then they will lose everything.
If you're familiar with regular casino roulette then CS:GO roulette should be pretty simple to understand. Generally, players get double their stake if they bet on red or black and 14 times if they bet on green. Again this is a game of chance and sites are built so that most players lose over time.
CS:GO coinflip is exactly what it sounds like. Players flip a coin and if they are right they win, if they are wrong they lose.
Again CS:GO dice is pretty self-explanatory, players bet on the outcomes of dice rolls and if they are right they win, if they are not then they lose.
