We list betting sites in Australia that haven't launched yet, along with all phone & track bookmakers with a website, and even all bookmakers that no longer operate in Australia. We also includes all online lotteries (which also need a betting license).
We look for new betting companies every week and update this list as soon as we find any.
As of December 18, 2025, the newest betting sites in Australia are BetVista (November 26), Betit (November 20), BetLegends (November 14), BetDash (November 4), and BetNova (October 30).

1. PlayUp

PlayUp Australia
Pros and Cons
- Generous bookie
- Easy to use - great for beginners
- Australia's best fixed odds for racing
- Fast, simple, and intuitive betting apps
- Fewer options for smaller sports
- Design isn't our favourite
Quick Facts
- Website: playup.com.au
- Apps: iOS, Android
- Software: PlayUp
- Features: Same Game Multis, Cash Out, Tips, Blog, Protest Payout, Specials
- Racing Products: Fixed, Best of 3 Totes, Best Tote + SP, Best of the Best, Tote + 5%, Starting Price, Top Fluc, Exotics
Overview
PlayUp is still a minor player in Australia but it won't be that way for too long. PlayUp is a simple, generous betting site that often has Australia's best fixed odds.
It's worth saying that of course PlayUp will not always have the best prices, but they are one of the bookies that you can always expect to be there. Otherwise, PlayUp has quality betting apps, great sports lines and is very easy to use.
Don't expect all the sports betting options in the world, PlayUp will give you all popular markets and a few specials for each match but for most people, including the pros, this is more than enough. PlayUp also offers Same Game Multis, 24/7 support and a new feature in 2024 called 'Multi Express'.
Launched in 2019, PlayUp is licensed by the NT Racing Commission - If you're looking for a new bookie, make it PlayUp.
2. Neds

Neds Australia
Pros and Cons
- Same race, blended & split multis
- Functional & easy to use site/apps
- Range of instant deposit methods
- Special racing & sports markets
- High odds for hundreds of sports/races
- Poor live betting interface
Quick Facts

- Racing Products: Fixed, Best Tote, Best Tote + SP, Best of the Best, Mid Tote + 5%, Nom Tote, Starting Price, Top Fluc, Exotics, Specials (eg. fav vs field), Mystery Bets, Pick Your Own Odds, Pick Your Margin
Overview
One of the hottest new bookmakers to launch in recent years, Neds is another online betting site that has it all.
While you'll find hundreds of sports betting options for 30+ different sports on Neds, this agency shines when it comes to racing. Expect all NZ and Australian races, hundreds of international racing markets, and heaps of extra information and racing features.
It's also worth mentioning that Neds' blended, split, and same game/race multi options are top-class. Neds' biggest let down is the weak live betting offering - which is understandable since live betting must be done on the phone in Australia.
Launched in 2017, Neds is licensed by the NT Racing Commission - Choose Neds for racing.
3. BetReal

BetReal Australia
Pros and Cons
- Very competitive odds
- Some of the best promos in AU
- Blackbook for racing
- 4x daily withdrawals
- Not the deepest book
- No esports betting
Quick Facts
- Website: betreal.com.au
- Apps: iOS, Android
- Software: Punterstech
- Features: Same Game/Race Multis, Blackbook, Form Guides, Key Stats, Betting Fluctuations, Speed Maps
- Racing Products: Fixed, Best Tote, Best Tote + SP, Exotics
Overview
There are three things we love about BetReal. These are the 4x daily instant withdrawals (even on weekends), the regular and competitive promos and the very competitive racing odds.
Of course we also appreciate same game/race multis, their racing blackbook, the smooth app/website and numerous payment options including things like Apple Pay.
If we are going to be harsh, they have a weaker sportsbook, fewer options and are later to come out with their sports odds than all of the bigger bookmakers in Australia.
Launched in 2025, BetReal is licensed by Liquor & Gaming NSW - Choose BetReal if you want very fast withdrawals.
4. TradieBET

TradieBET Australia
Pros and Cons
- Very high fixed odds
- Seamless betting experience
- Solid promos
- 4x daily withdrawals
- Limited sports markets
- No live streaming
Quick Facts
- Website: tradie.bet
- Apps: iOS, Android
- Software: Punterstech
- Features: Same Game/Race Multis, Blackbook, Form Guides, Key Stats, Betting Fluctuations, Speed Maps
- Racing Products: Fixed, Best Tote, Best Tote + SP, Exotics
Overview
TradieBET's slogan - Bet Smarter, Not Harder - may be one of the few that is accurate for a bookmaker.
Launching on the newish and very impressive betting software Punterstech, TradieBET offers very strong odds and solid promos on a platform that is very fast and seamless - which basically summarises the bet smart, not harder mindest.
TradieBET is still a pretty new bookie, only coming on the scene late in 2023. There is still plenty to be improved with more sporting markets and they could do with some racing insights.
Launched in 2023, TradieBET is licensed by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission - Choose TradieBET if you want consistently high odds
5. Next2Go

Next2Go Australia
Pros and Cons
- Instant withdrawals
- Pro insights/tips
- Unique, personalised promos
- Helpful support
- No esports

"Next2Go is built for punters who want more — more insights, more innovation, more rewards for their loyalty, more straight up answers and faster resolutions from the customer service team and more control over their betting experience. We’re not here to be just another bookie; we’re here to shake things up. Get ready for a faster, easier and more entertaining way to punt."

6. Betr

Betr Australia
Pros and Cons
- Tips from pro punters
- Now with Apple Pay
- Member promos
- Rapid withdrawals (in minutes)
- Now offering live streaming/blackbook
- No BoB odds
Quick Facts
- Website: betr.com.au

- Racing Products: Fixed, Best of 3 Totes Win & Place, Fixed + Best Tote, Best Tote + SP, Top Fluc, Exotics, Specials
Overview
If you've been paying any attention to the world of Aussie bookmakers then the betr name should already be familiar to you. Initially brought to us by industry giants including Sportsbet's former head Matt Tripp, Murdoch's News Corp, and Las Vegas-based Tekkorp - betr was bought by the Tripp Group (the early brains of Sportsbet) and was then acquired by and merged with BlueBet.
This means plenty of member promotions, thousands of weekly racing and sports markets, decent prices and even better specials, and features like pro tips, betting apps, speedmaps, cash out, live streaming, a blackbook and same game/race multis, - We've ranked betr as number one out of all bookmakers for Same Game Multi.
Still, betr certainly seemed to overextend a bit during its launch with some outrageous offers, slow withdrawal processing, and largely non-existent support. Thankfully these issues have all been remedied though.
Launched in October 2022, betr is licensed by the NT Racing Commission - Pick betr if you want to see what you're missing out on.
7. Bet365

- Racing Products: Fixed, Best Tote, Fixed + Best Tote, Top Fluc, Exotics, Each Way Extra, Specials (eg. cover bets)
Overview
Bet365 is the world's biggest betting site with over 60 million worldwide users. Bet365 also pioneered many of the most common betting products including live streaming, cash out, the bet builder, and live betting.
Because Bet365 has such a large customer base, they can afford to offer great prices for an immense number of sports markets - what this means is that you'll get the widest range of bets and consistently great prices from this bookie (especially on outsiders).
Bet365 also dominates the game with 150,000+ different sports live streams every year, full, automatic, and partial cash out options, a live golf tracker, and the most extensive bet builder (for same game multis) for soccer, tennis, AFL, and basketball.
Launched in Australia in 2012, Bet365 is licensed by the NT Racing Commission - Choose Bet365 for the range of markets, bet builder, cash out & live streaming.
8. Picklebet

Picklebet Australia
Pros and Cons
- Betting previews & prediction comps
- 100% Aussie-owned and operated
- Unique Top 4 racing markets
- Consistent & valuable promos
- No tote betting available
- No live streaming for racing
Quick Facts
- Website: picklebet.com.au
- Apps: iOS, Android
- Software: Picklebet
- Features: Same Game/Race Multis, Live Streaming, News, Tips, Contests
- Racing Products: Win, Top 2, Top 3, Top 4
Overview
Picklebet has a clear esports focus but this doesn't tell the full story of this online bookmaker.
Yes, you'll get the biggest range of esports betting options for the most esports with Picklebet, plus daily esports tips and competitions. However, with the addition of sports betting in 2021, and horse racing in 2022 there's plenty more to get excited about (not to mention the daily promos for members).
While they don't do exotics or tote odds, Picklebet offers top 1, 2, 3, and 4 odds for every Australian and New Zealand race along with tips, same race multis and speedmaps. Picklebet also sets its own odds meaning you'll be able to consistently snag value.
Launched in 2020, Picklebet is licensed by the NT Racing Commission - For high odds, the most esports betting options, and unique racing markets, bet with Picklebet.
9. Dabble

Dabble Australia
Pros and Cons
- Well-priced odds all-round
- Banter with mates and others
- Follow experts & copy bets
- Refunds paid in cash
- Limited payment methods
- No website (app only)
Quick Facts
- Website: dabble.com.au
- Apps: iOS, Android
- Software: Dabble
- Features: Same Game Multis, Follow Tipsters, Copy Bets, Chat, Live Streaming
- Racing Products: Fixed, Top 4, Best Tote + SP, Exotics
Overview
As a true blue Aussie punter you may be put off by the new-fangled way that Dabble is approaching bookmaking. For example, Dabble has no betting website and on the app, you have the ability to 'follow', chat with and copy the bets of friends and expert tipsters. When your bet gets copied you also get real, withdrawable cash. Their refunds are also paid in cash, and not bet credits/free bets.
That's not to mention the 'Fixture Feed' which lets you scroll through the most popular bets for that match or race or their weekly live streams featuring sports stars and personalities.
Despite your possible reservations though, it cannot be denied that Dabble is already changing the way thousands of Australians bet, making wagering more fun, accountable, and profitable than it ever has been.
On top of this, Dabble has a pretty wide range of sports and racing markets from around the world, at competitive prices. We'd love to see more payment options, but with near-instant withdrawals we take our hats off to Dabble for a unique product packed with features and value.
Launched in 2021, Dabble is licensed by the NT Racing Commission - Get the Dabble app whether you're into 'social betting' or not.
10. TeamBet
TeamBet Australia
Pros and Cons
- Daily specials/promos
- 6x daily withdrawals
- Very competitive racing odds
- Apple Pay/Pay ID
- Like other Punterstech books
- No live streaming
Quick Facts
- Website: teambet.com.au
- Apps: None
- Software: Punterstech
- Features: Same Game/Race Multis, Form Guides, Blackbook, Key Stats, Betting Fluctuations, Speed Maps
- Racing Products: Fixed, Best Tote, Best Tote + SP, Top Fluc, Exotics
Overview
Most new bookies, like TeamBet, launch on a white label software provider. In this case, TeamBet launched with Punterstech, which is probably our favourite bookie platform.
Apart from the name, logo and colour choices it's very hard to differentiate when you use a software provider. That's why we are very happy to report that TeamBet has great promos, sharp odds and that they are the only bookie to process withdrawals six times a day using OSKO. That means you'll wait a maximum of 2-3 hours for your withdrawal (unless you withdraw at 2am).
Launched in 2025, TeamBet is licensed by Liquor & Gaming NSW - Use TeamBet for nearly instant withdrawals.
11. MillennialBet
MillennialBet Australia
Pros and Cons
- Generous weekly offers
- Competitive domestic odds
- Racing insights, blackbook
- Best Tote + SP
- No politics betting
- Limited number of sports
Quick Facts
- Website: millennialbet.com.au
- Apps: None
- Software: Punterstech
- Features: Same Game/Race Multis, Form Guides, Blackbook, Key Stats, Betting Fluctuations, Speed Maps
- Racing Products: Fixed, Best Tote, Best Tote + SP, Top Fluc, Exotics
Overview
MillennialBet launched in the middle of September 2025 poised to take advantage of the AFL grand finals and the spring racing season. With Best Tote + SP odds, a blackbook, racing insights and early, competitive fixed odds there's certainly no reason to stay away from them.
As with almost all new bookmakers, there's plenty of features and markets MillennialBet could add, but let's be honest, they'd still be behind Bet365 and Sportsbet and this is not really their aim.
Launched in 2025, MillennialBet is licensed by Liquor & Gaming NSW - Use MillennialBet if you want a high quality, no-nonsense bookie.
12. BetVista

BetVista Australia
Pros and Cons
- Australian-owned & operated
- Good racing prices
- SGM and SRMs
- Best Tote + SP
- Missing esports
- No live streaming
Quick Facts
- Website: betvista.com.au
- Apps: None
- Software: Punterstech
- Features: Same Game/Race Multis, Form Guides, Blackbook, Key Stats, Betting Fluctuations, Speed Maps
- Racing Products: Fixed, Best Tote, Best Tote + SP, Top Fluc, Exotics
Overview
We got word of BetVista's launch they day before they went live on November 26, 2025 which is always exciting for us to be up to date with a new bookie as soon as they are available. We expected a quality bookmaker with good odds, promos and racing markets and that's what we got.
BetVista uses the Punterstech betting software so you can expect early racing odds, with fixed prices for Australian meets and even some international meets. Like most of the bookmakers we list, BetVista can't compete with the breadth of markets that the corporates have for sports but they offer a solid alternative betting account if you need one.
Launched in 2025, BetVista is licensed by Liquor & Gaming NSW - Use BetVista if you are in need of a new betting account.
13. PuntX
PuntX Australia
Pros and Cons
- Best Tote + SP
- Daily promos
- Live streaming
- Quality insights for racing
- Few payment options
- Same owner as Next2Go

- Apps: None
- Software: BetMakers
- Features: Same Game/Race Multis, Same Game Multis, Same Race Multis, Live Streaming, Speedmaps, Comments, Tips
- Racing Products: Best Tote + SP, BoB, Same Race Multis, Top Fluc, Quaddies
Overview
Allan Hilzinger (formerly Chasebet and now Next2Go) launched PuntX in the last week of October, right in time for the Melbourne Cup.
Coincidence? I think not. PuntX provides a quality betting experience, especially for racing free live streaming and tips/insights integrated into their racing book.
We are especially keen to let you know that PuntX has daily promos but they are missing a number of payment options, and OSKO instant withdrawals. Still, PuntX is a good modern bookie with plenty to offer punters hungry for a new site.
Launched in Australia in 2025, PuntX is licensed by the NT Racing Commission - Choose PuntX for a smooth betting experience.
14. Betblitz

Betblitz Australia
Pros and Cons
- Responsible bookmaker
- Unique loyalty offers
- Daily fast withdrawals
- Friendly, helpful support
- No streaming
- No esports betting
Quick Facts
- Website: betblitz.com.au
- Apps: iOS, Android
- Software: Punterstech
- Features: Same Game/Race Multis, Form Guides, Key Stats, Betting Fluctuations, Speed Maps
- Racing Products: Fixed, Best Tote, Best Tote + SP, Top Fluc, Exotics
Overview
Betblitz is a prime example of a Punterstech bookmaker. They are Aussie-owned, with good support, heaps of racing markets, all the biggest sporting markets, some good promos, a smooth app/site and quick withdrawals.
What this means is that you'll have a hassle free betting experience with Betblitz. However, there are downsides like no live streaming, very few niche sports/markets and support that's only available during the day.
All in all, Betblitz is worth joining (at least for the promos), but will probably always struggle to compete with TAB and Sportsbet.
Launched in 2024, Betblitz is licensed by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission - Use Betblitz if you are after a modern, local bookie.
15. Ladbrokes

Ladbrokes Australia
Pros and Cons
- Huge variety of bet types
- Secure and fast payments
- Best Tote, SP & Top Fluc odds
- Stats, form guides, flucs & tips
- Almost identical to Neds
- No live streaming
Quick Facts
- Website: ladbrokes.com.au
- Apps: iOS, Android
- Software: Entain
- Features: Same Game Multis, Same Race Multis, Cash Out, Live Streaming, Comments, Tips, Protest Payout, Statistics, Easy Form, Previews, Mates Mode, Ladbrokes Card
- Racing Products: Fixed, Best Tote, Best Tote + SP, Best of the Best, Mid Tote + 5%, Nom Tote, Starting Price, Top Fluc, Exotics, Specials (eg. fav vs field), Mystery Bets, Pick Your Own Odds, Pick Your Margin
Overview
The oldest name in world betting, Ladbrokes is actually owned by the same company that owns Neds, Betstar, and Bookmaker.com.au.
This means that these betting sites' odds and options are almost identical but some of the layout, features, and functionality is slightly different. So, overall you'll get a great mix of competitive odds, many payment options, and quality features.
It also means that if you have an account with Neds (or Betstar or Bookmaker) you won't get much from Ladbrokes, so you're better off looking elsewhere for unique markets and prices. If this is your first bookie though, you won't have many complaints.
Launched in 2013 in Australia, Ladbrokes is licensed by the NT Racing Commission - Go with Ladbrokes for a reliable betting experience.
16. Unibet

Unibet Australia
Pros and Cons
- Consistently high sports & racing odds
- 30,000+ live-streamed events every year
- Accepts Neteller, Skrill, PayPal & Apple Pay
- Cash-out, multi betting, blog & previews
- Customer support not available 24/7
- Poor betting app - hard to use
Quick Facts
- Website: unibet.com.au
- Apps: iOS, Android
- Software: Unibet
- Features: Same Game Multis, Same Race Multis, Cash Out, Live Streaming, Speedmaps, Comments, Tips, Statistics, Previews, Blog, Betting Guides, Protest Payout, Dead Heat Payout
- Racing Products: Fixed, Best Tote, Tote + 10%, Best Tote + SP, Top Fluc, Exotics, Specials (eg. fav vs field), Mystery Bets, Head 2 Head
Overview
I always think of Unibet as the younger brother to Bet365 - even though they aren't related. Unibet has it all - cash out, live streaming, unique payment options, heaps of bet types, and even live streaming.
The best things about Unibet are the high odds for certain bets/horses, the sports live streaming (30,000+ events every year), that this bookie accepts Skrill and Neteller payments, and also the unique prop and specials markets available for sports.
Still, Unibet has its faults. The Unibet app could definitely use an upgrade and Unibet's customer support team is only available from 9 am to 2 am AEST. These things may not seem like a big deal, and they aren't, Unibet is still a great choice.
Launched in Australia in 2012, Unibet is licensed by the NT Racing Commission - Often overlooked in Australia, Unibet is a great bookie.
17. BlondeBet

BlondeBet Australia
Pros and Cons
- Prominent bookmaking family
- Boosts for members
- AFL & NRL SGMs
- Top Fluc & Best Tote + SP
- Lacking deep markets
- No unique features
Quick Facts
- Website: blondebet.com.au
- Apps: iOS, Android
- Software: Punterstech
- Features: Same Game/Race Multis, Blackbook, Form Guides, Key Stats, Betting Fluctuations, Speed Maps
- Racing Products: Fixed, Best Tote, Best Tote + SP, Top Fluc, Exotics
Overview
Adelaide Pendlebury, the daughter of Sydney's longest-serving rails bookie Jeff Pendlebury bought us BlondeBet in April 2024 continuing her family's bookmaking tradition in the online world.
BlondeBet is built on Punterstech, one of Australia's newest bookmaking software providers that is still very much still evolving.
Because of this, you can expect good opening odds for racing and sports, a fast and easy-to-use app, same game multis, early speed maps, top tote, top fluc and best tote + SP odds but if you're after a unique offering or hundreds of markets per sport, BlondeBet won't have it. Otherwise, we also appreciate BlondeBet's boosts and opening specials.
Launched in 2024, BlondeBet is licensed by Liquor & Gaming NSW - Bet with BlondeBet if you don't have a Punterstech account
18. BetEstate

BetEstate Australia
Pros and Cons
- Trending bets
- Daily specials
- Same game/race multis
- Competitive racing odds
- No futures betting

- Software: BetMakers
- Features: Same Game Multis, Same Race Multis, Live Streaming, Speedmaps, Comments, Tips
- Racing Products: Best Tote + SP, BoB, Same Race Multis, Top Fluc, Quaddies
Overview
BetEstate launched in September 2023, and is a safe option for pretty much every punter, as it has a little bit of something that appeals to everyone, and with competitive odds.
BetEstate offers over a dozen sports and 5000 weekly races, complemented with daily promos evenly split between both markets. They also offer Trending Bets, to see what bets are popular with other punters.
Live streaming, tips, insights are all features you can expect with BetEstate, but to be picky, they don't offer anything that is too unique and they have ordinary futures betting.
Launched in Australia in 2023, BetEstate is licensed by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission - Choose BetEstate for a consistently good betting experience
19. Marantelli Bet

Marantelli Bet Australia
Pros and Cons
- Live streaming
- Racing specials
- Same game/race multi
- Personalised service
- Lack of sports
- No futures betting
Quick Facts
- Website: marantellibet.com
- Apps: iOS, Android
- Software: BetMakers
- Features: Same Game/Race Multis, Live Streaming, Speed Maps, Form Guide, Tips
- Racing Products: Best Tote + SP, BoB, Same Race Multis, Top Fluc, Quaddies
Overview
Marantelli Bet has been passed through the generations of the family and still going strong after 50 years of premium on-course service. In 2022, Marantelli Bet made the transition to online via the BetMakers software, and offers Top Tote on all Aussie horses and a handful of sports markets.
Marantelli Bet is more focused on racing, offering all Australian racing and plenty of international meets, along with racing features including speed maps, live streaming and racing insights.
While Marantelli Bet offers 15+ sports and same game multis, they are lacking more obscure sports and have no offerings on Esports.
Launched online in 2022, Marantelli Bet is licensed by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission - Choose Marantelli Bet for a well respected bookmaker moving up in the world.
20. Terrybet

Terrybet Australia
Pros and Cons
- Regular specials & offers
- Live racing streams
- Friendly support service
- Same game/race multis
- Missing ways to pay
- No unique markets
Quick Facts
- Website: terrybet.com.au
- Apps: iOS, Android
- Software: BetMakers
- Features: Same Game Multis, Same Race Multis, Speedmaps, Tips, Live Streaming, Protest Payout
- Racing Products: Fixed, Best Tote + SP, Exotics
Overview
Terry Coelli has been bookmaking NSW tracks since 1990 and nearly a quarter of a decade later finally took his business online with Terrybet. If you want to try a local bookie, with personalised promos, and friendly support then Terrybet is a great choice.
Terrybet uses BetMakers' software which gives it the benefit of racing tips, streaming, features like same race/game multis and a range of international racing and sports markets but obviously it also means TerryBet is several steps below the biggest offshore bookmakers with Australian licences like Bet365, Sportsbet and Ladbrokes.
While we appreciate Terrybet's modern platform and apps, we'd love to see more unique markets, prices, and/or features along with more payment options.
Launched in 2024, Terrybet is licensed by Liquor & Gaming NSW - For a local Aussie bookmaker, visit terrybet.com.au
21. Topbet

Topbet Australia
Pros and Cons
- Quality customer care
- Offers for members
- Twice daily withdrawals
- SGMs for US sports
- No streaming
- Uninspiring design
Quick Facts
- Website: topbet.au
- Apps: iOS, Android
- Software: Punterstech
- Features: Same Game/Race Multis, Form Guides, Key Stats, Betting Fluctuations, Speed Maps
- Racing Products: Fixed, Best Tote, Best Tote + SP, Top Fluc, Exotics
Overview
Lacking some of the flair and originality of other newer betting sites, especially those on the BetCloud platform, Topbet still has plenty to offer.
This includes quality customer service with twice-daily withdrawals via Osko, and more common features like form guides and speed maps.
Topbet's stronger when it comes to greyhounds and horse racing with better than average fixed prices and other racing products for selected metro meets.
Launched in 2024, Topbet is licensed by Liquor & Gaming NSW - Use Topbet if you want to see what modern bookies have to offer.
22. Betfocus

Betfocus Australia
Pros and Cons
- Top international racing odds
- Top Fluc and Best Tote
- Same game/race multis
- 100% Aussie-owned
- No live streaming
- No blackbook
Quick Facts
- Website: betfocus.com.au
- Apps: iOS, Android
- Software: Punterstech
- Features: Same Game Multis, Same Race Multis, Live Streaming, Speedmaps, Comments, Tips
- Racing Products: Best Tote + SP, BoB, Same Race Multis, Top Fluc, Quaddies
Overview
Betfocus launched in March 2024, and has been an instant hit with punters as they are truly doing the best to keep punters happy. They have very high odds in racing and sport, plus Best Tote and Top Fluc on Australian Horses, but their international racing odds are probably the best we've come across.
Betfocus also process withdrawals multiple times a day, including weekends so there is no hold up to get your winnings. They also have a decent amount of sports to bet on, including Same Game Multis - which however has few stat markets, but that will come as they continue to grow.
Launched in 2024, Betfocus is licensed by Liquor & Gaming NSW - For a betting site that is in it for the long run, choose Betfocus
23. WizBet
WizBet Australia
Pros and Cons
- WizKit member rewards
- 100% Aussie-owned
- Three instant daily withdrawal times
- Best Tote + SP
- No live streaming
- Missing winter sports, athletics, novelties, esports etc.
Quick Facts
- Website: wizbet.com.au
- Apps: iOS, Android
- Software: Punterstech
- Features: Same Game/Race Multis, Form Guides, Key Stats, Betting Fluctuations, Speed Maps
- Racing Products: Fixed, Best Tote, Best Tote + SP, Top Fluc, Exotics
Overview
There are several betting sites with instant withdrawals (that use Osko to make instant payouts) and WizBet is one of them, processing instant withdrawals 3 times a day. We love that about them plus their Australian customer support team, competitive racing odds, and regular promos.
Sure, WizBet is lacking the uniqueness of apps like Dabble or the name recognition of TAB and Sportsbet but if you want to support a smaller local bookie then they're a great shout.
Launched in 2025, WizBet is licensed by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission - Use WizBet for the WizKit rewards.
24. BetYouCan

- Racing Products: Best Tote + SP, BoB, Same Race Multis, Top Fluc, Quaddies
Overview
BetYouCan is a modern betting site with all the perks we've come to expect but still nothing that really sets them apart from most other new betting sites these days.
BetYouCan was built on BetMakers' platform so has everything from Sky Racing streams to RaceLab tips and same game/race multis.
BetYouCan also offers BoB odds on metro domestic races as well as Best Tote + SP on other major meets.
Launched in Australia in 2025, BetYouCan is licensed by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission - BetYouCan is another solid bookmaker choice.
25. DowBet

DowBet Australia
Pros and Cons
- Best Tote + SP odds
- Plenty of markets
- Experienced bookie
- RaceLab tips/insights
- Few payment options
- Same owner as Bet66

- Apps: iOS, Android
- Software: BetMakers
- Features: Same Game Multis, Same Race Multis, Live Streaming, Speedmaps, Comments, Tips
- Racing Products: Best Tote + SP, BoB, Same Race Multis, Top Fluc, Quaddies
Overview
DowBet has everything you'd expect from a 2025 BetMakers betting site. Think RaceLab tips, Sky Racing streams, a smooth platform, multi builder, solid range of markets and competitive prices.
DowBet is owned by Anthony Dow, who also runs Bet66. That means that if you are restricted from one site then you'll be restricted on both.
Overall, DowBet doesn't have enough to be the only betting site we'll use from now on, but it is competitive and comprehensive so we defiantly think it's worth signing up with.
Launched in Australia in 2025, DowBet is licensed by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission - If you like rewards, DowBet will sort you out.
26. 123bet

123bet Australia
Pros and Cons
- Takes big bets
- New betting software
- Racing specials
- 24/7 customer support
- Average design
- Some negative reviews
Quick Facts
- Website: 123bet.com.au
- Apps: iOS, Android
- Software: ApolloTech
- Features: Same Game Multis, Same Race Multis, Speedmaps
- Racing Products: Best Tote + SP, BoB, Same Race Multis, Without Favourite, Specials
Overview
123bet snuck onto the scene with the new ApolloTech betting software powering their site/apps.
123bet seems to have taken a lot (a bit too much) of their design inspiration from PlayUp, but they don't have quite the same level of odds and offers.
Still, 24/7 support, special racing markets like betting without the favourite, Best Tote + SP odds and same game/race multis mean 123bet is competitive nonetheless.
Launched in Australia in 2025, 123bet is licensed by Liquor & Gaming NSW - For 24/7 support, consider 123bet.
27. XBet

XBet Australia
Pros and Cons
- Good fixed odds

- Responsive Aussie support
- No betting website
- Boring design/branding

- Apps: iOS, Android
- Software: Punterstech
- Features: Same Game/Race Multis, Form Guides, Key Stats, Betting Fluctuations, Speed Maps
- Racing Products: Fixed, Best Tote, Best Tote + SP, Top Fluc, Exotics
Overview
XBet is built using Punterstech betting software which has evolved to include numerous bells and whistles like Same Game/Race Multis, stats, insights, speed maps, form guides, daily promos, daily instant withdrawals, live chat, Apple Pay deposits and more.
Overall, they have fixed odds prices in or around the big corporates and enough sports markets to keep casual bettors satisfied. I.e. Another solid new bookie that doesn't change the game.
Launched in 2025, XBet is licensed by Liquor & Gaming NSW - Choose XBet for a competitive alternative.
28. BetChamps

BetChamps Australia
Pros and Cons

Overview
BetChamps is one of a growing number of Punterstech's bookies. These sites offer quality odds, decent promos and instant daily withdrawals.
There's not a lot else to say about BetChamps but we appreciated their new blackbook feature and the ability to bet on the same screen as the markets (i.e. don't have to always open the betslip).
Launched in 2024, BetChamps is licensed by Liquor & Gaming NSW - Bet with BetChamps for a quality betting experience.
29. ReadyBet

ReadyBet Australia
Pros and Cons

- Racing Products: Fixed, Best of 3 Totes, Top Fluc, Exotics
Overview
Despite using the well-worn BetMakers software to bring their bookmaking service online, cousins Mark Rhoden and Cameron O'Brien have still managed to create a unique product at ReadyBet.
How?
ReadyBet doesn't limit winning punters. And, O'Brien (a pro punter for the last 15 years) shares expert tips and analysis for Australian and NZ races. Normally you need to pay a premium for this kind of content online.
Otherwise, ReadyBet is a classic on-course bookmaker gone online. 5,000+ races every week, 10+ different sporting codes, speedmaps, best tote odds, a couple of different payment options, and decent betting apps.
Launched in 2022, ReadyBet is licensed by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission - To bet against pro punters, with their tips, pick ReadyBet.

- Website: betfair.com.au
- Apps: iOS, Android
- Software: Betfair Exchange
- Features: Betting Exchange, Form Hub, Statistics, Price Graphs
- Racing Products: Back/Lay Betting
Overview
Not only the world's biggest - Betfair is Australia's only betting exchange. A betting exchange is different from a traditional bookmaker, as it gives you the opportunity to "lay the bet", which allows you to act as the bookmaker.
So if your mate has ever put on a bet and you've said "that'll never get up" - Betfair gives you the opportunity to bet against the outcome. So if their bet loses, you collect their stake. But, if it wins, you will have to pay the winnings. As they say, "the bookie always wins".
As Betfair is only a provider for the exchange and you are not betting against them, the margins are razor thin. So you will nearly always find best odds at Betfair.
Launched in Australia in 2006, Betfair is licensed by the NT Racing Commission and is one of Australia's oldest betting sites. Choose Betfair if you're interested in trading.

PremiumBet hasn't forgotten about sports punters, and has some generally unique, but definitely solid sports promos, along with over a dozen sports to bet on, and same game multis.
PremiumBet still has room to improve, and could do with more payment methods and more futures betting for sports - otherwise, it has started pretty well for a new bookie.

Bet Right offers many unique markets, such as horse/dog trainer wins, and also box challenges (most points accumulated, on a 3-2-1 basis, from the 1-8 dog boxes throughout a meet). There is also entertainment and political bets, or you can request your own if the Bachelor or Trump doesn’t do it for you.
We’ve found Bet Right to be one of the best for support for a big bookmaker, with low waiting times, friendly service and payments processed twice a day (including weekends).

- Features: Same Game Multis, Same Race Multis, Blended Bets
- Racing Products: Fixed, Exotics, Protest Payout, Top Tote, Best Tote
Overview
We won't sugar coat our opinion of BetStride - they're fine. By that we mean that they have a good racing book and decent range of sporting markets - enough to get 90% of your usual bets down. Are their prices great? No, but again, they're fine. As are their promos, platform and service.
The point is, BetStride is like most other BetCloud betting sites, they offer nothing special except a new opening promo (use code MBS100) and thus are suitable for anyone wanting a new account but not those looking for Australia's best betting sites.
Launched online in 2025, BetStride is licensed by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission - Choose BetStride for a new opening offer.

At the time of writing (Feb 2025), Bet575 is the newest bookmaker in Australia. It's run by Simon Beasley (Victorian rails bookie and ex footy player) bringing quality rails service and a modern betting platform into a single bookmaker.
As Bet575 is built with BetCloud's white-label platform many other sites in Australia share the same design, features and often odds with Bet575. This includes Best Tote odds, promos and many well-priced international racing markets.
We don't expect a ton from track bookies like Beaza but we would have of course appreciated more unique promos, better odds or more unique markets at this bookie.
Launched online in 2025, Bet575 is licensed by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission - Choose Bet575 to bet with a track bookie online.

GoldenBet888 might have the strangest name of any Aussie bookmaker but there's nothing strange about them. In fact, they're one of the most normal bookies in the country as they use BetCloud software so have all the features and functions that come with this.
Expect SGM/SRMs, Best Tote odds, all the racing and most of sporting markets you'd want along with a solid app/site. Like with other sites built on BetCloud, there's no live streaming yet, no niche sports like esports or skiing and a lack of supported payment options.
Launched online in 2025, GoldenBet888 is licensed by the NT Racing Commission - Choose GoldenBet888 for the year's most interesting+looking bookie.

The platform he's chosen to host his sites is improving monthly, now offering a range of features that include cash out, a protest payout, blended racing multis and very deep same game multi markets for the biggest leagues.
Bet777's fixed odds are okay, but not worth getting too excited about although they now offer Best Tote odds on Australian gallops races. We appreciate all new Australian bookmakers and Bet777 is well worth creating an account with if you have the same feeling us.
Launched online in 2024, Bet777 is licensed by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission - Choose Bet777 if you want to see what BetCloud's got to offer.

Overview
TempleBet went live a couple of weeks before 2024's Melbourne Cup. They use the well-worn BetCloud software which means you'll get all AU races, across all 3 codes plus plenty of international markets, with early odds.
When it comes to sport, they offer 15+ codes, excelling for Australian and American leagues with over 300+ markets, depending on the game. Being a BetCloud brand means you can't expect any unique features or markets but it does mean quality software and no bugs.
Overall, we'd love to see something extra from TempleBet but we're happy with what we do get.
Launched online in 2024, TempleBet is licensed by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission - Choose TempleBet if you want a new offer.

Sterling Parker does seem to be growing and boasts 12+ sports to bet on with flexible lines, odds/evens, over/under's and more. Sterling Parker also provide markets and exotics in all Aussie racing and some international meets.
Sterling Parker has recently added the Middle Tote for racing and also some more betting features such as Blended Bets, and same game multis for a handful of sports.

- Competitive odds
- Opening specials
- No Esports
- No tips or form guide
Quick Facts

- Software: BetCloud
- Features: Same Game Multis, Same Race Multis, Blended Bets
- Racing Products: Fixed, Exotics, Protest Payout, Top Tote, Best Tote
Overview
Launched in August 2023, JuicyBet is another brand that betting platform BetCloud has developed, as they continue to release betting sites monthly, and each one weirder than the next.
JuicyBet offers all Australian racing across the three codes, with some international meets, and a list of 10+ sports to bet on. Although their sports offerings are slim, the less mainstream markets are very extensive in Soccer, with well over 100 leagues to bet on, and the odds are very generous and high, for such unknown leagues (way higher compared to Sportsbet).
JuicyBet is missing some features you'd see at one of the bigger betting sites, including live streaming, tips, form or speed maps. They just have decent odds, and a bizarre theme that makes you feel like watermelon.
Launched online in 2023, JuicyBet is licensed by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission - Choose JuicyBet if you like high sporting odds.

BetProfessor offers a growing list of 11+ sports, and have just introduced same game multis for some sports including NFL and EPL. They also have a huge list (80+) of more local Soccer leagues to bet on from across the world.
BetProfessor recently included the Middle Tote, but are missing other features, such as live streaming - however, they do provide Protest Payout, Exotics, and their racing fixed odds are released a few days prior to the event.
Launched online in 2023, BetProfessor is licensed by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission - Choose BetProfessor if you like decent fixed odds on racing and sport.
48. WellBet

WellBet Australia
Pros and Cons

- Apps: iOS, Android
- Software: BetCloud
- Features: Same Game Multis, Same Race Multis, Blended Bets
- Racing Products: Fixed, Exotics, Protest Payout, Top Tote, Best Tote
Overview
Just like its BetCloud-powered cousin BetGalaxy, WellBet has plenty going on behind the scenes - they've got a fast site, an intuitive app, and sharp odds.
After we first looked at them at the start of 2023 - WellBet have upped their game and have nearly tripled their sports offerings, now have tote betting and Blended Bets in racing.
There are still features they are missing, as there is no live streaming or speed maps, and they could increase their sports offerings with some more obscure sports, and Esports.
Launched in 2023, WellBet is licensed by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission - Consider WellBet if you're a fixed odds racing fan.
49. QuestBet

QuestBet
Pros and Cons
- Flexible handicap betting
- Fast and easy-to-navigate site
- Up to 20-leg multis
- No Best of the Best
- Lacking features

- Website: questbet.com.au
- Apps: iOS, Android
- Software: BetCloud
- Features: Same Game Multis, Same Race Multis, Blended Bets
- Racing Products: Fixed, Exotics, Protest Payout, Top Tote, Best Tote
Overview
Created from the increasingly popular and evolving software BetCloud - QuestBet is similar to other brands on the fast & responsive platform, providing high fixed odds and with its own unique theme.
Ninjas aside, QuestBet like other BetCloud brands, is missing popular features including same race/game multis, speed map, form guide, live streaming and black book to name a few. QuestBets modern site offers limited and "new age" support - including only live chat and the only deposit method is credit/debit card.
Looking past the limited features, what QuestBet does offer, it offers well. They have also recently added tote betting, in case you don't like their fixed odds. The site is fast and the support is very responsive. As they grow and add more markets and features, we expect they will continue the trend with top notch features and a flawless experience for punters.
Launched in 2023, QuestBet is licensed by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission - Choose QuestBet if you love great odds on a responsive site.

- Racing Products: Fixed, Exotics, Protest Payout, Top Tote, Best Tote
Overview
BetGalaxy is another Vic Bookmaker and was the first new betting site to launch on the yet-to-be-tested BetCloud betting software.
Since we last reviewed BetGalaxy, they have more than doubled their sports markets and have kept true to their word by "looking after" their regular punters.
Also sticking true to their word, they are sporadically pretty generous with their promos - not yet offering a galaxy's worth, but they are getting better.
Launched in 2023, BetGalaxy is licensed by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission - Choose BetGalaxy if you love what's new.
51. UPCoz

UPCoz Australia
Pros and Cons
- Helpful support

- Software: BetMakers
- Features: Same Game Multis, Same Race Multis, Speedmaps, Live Streaming, Protest Payout, Comments, Tips
- Racing Products: Fixed, Best of 3 Totes, Top Fluc, Exotics
Overview
UPCoz has quite possibly the weirdest name of any bookie in Australia but given that they use BetMakers, the rest of the site is as 'normal' as can be.
BetMakers brands like UPCoz offer a number of interesting features including live streaming and tips powered by RaceLab. Their odds tend to be a few points below the likes of Neds and Sportsbet though.
Otherwise, the promos at UPCoz make them worth trying.
Launched in 2022, UPCoz is licensed by Liquor & Gaming NSW - If you're looking for new offers, try UPCoz.
52. RealBookie

- Racing Products: Fixed, Best of 3 Totes, Best of the Best, Top Fluc, Exotics
Overview
RealBookie is not the first betting site that we've claimed has great odds but the reality is that (when it comes to racing at least) a few different betting sites do offer the best fixed odds - depending on which horses you want to back of course.
RealBookie also offers Best of the Best odds, Top Fluc odds and their sports odds are better than most. Do know that RealBookie only offers odds on the most popular Australian, US, and European leagues like Aussie rules, rugby, basketball, tennis, soccer, ice hockey.
RealBookie is run by two Victorian bookmaking veterans - Mark Sampieri and Chris Lester - which shows when you consider that they offer a no-frills approach to betting but still with key features like free racing streaming, same game/race multis, daily price bumps, form guides, and a very helpful customer support team.
Launched in 2020, RealBookie is licensed by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission - For great odds on most markets offered, create a RealBookie account.
53. BetBetBet

BetBetBet Australia
Pros and Cons
- BoB odds on Metro Saturdays
- Near-instant daily withdrawals
- Great customer care
- No speedmaps/streaming
- Limited phone betting options
Quick Facts
- Website: betbetbet.net.au
- Apps: iOS, Android (Apk download)
- Software: Generation Web
- Features: Same Game Multis, Speedmaps, Protest Payout
- Racing Products: Fixed, Best Tote + SP, Best of the Best, Top Fluc, Exotics
Overview
BetBetBet is very similar to many of the other Generation Web bookmakers (Lets Bet, HavaBet, JustBet etc.) in Australia - they use the same betting software and have very similar features and markets.
Those worth mentioning include Same Game Multis, a variety of futures markets, Best of the Best odds on metro Saturday races, Best Tote + SP odds, and exotics.
What really makes BetBetBet stand out though is the betting experience. They process withdrawals at least twice a day with Bendigo Bank fast payments making them one of the fastest withdrawal betting sites. Additionally, unlike popular corporate bookmakers like Sportsbet, BetBetBet is less likely to promo ban and restrict you.
Launched in 2021 with exceptional client care, BetBetBet is licensed by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission - Bet with BetBetBet if you want an honest, local racing bookie.
54. Lets Bet

Lets Bet Australia
Pros and Cons
- Top Fluc and Best Tote + SP on all Aus horses
- High same game multi odds
- BoB odds on Metro Saturdays
- No live streaming
- Android App not on Play Store
Quick Facts
- Website: letsbet.net.au
- Apps: iOS, Android (Apk download)
- Software: Generation Web
- Features: Same Game/Race Multis, Form, Protest Payout
- Racing Products: Fixed, Best Tote + SP, Best of the Best, Top Fluc, Exotics
Overview
Lets Bet is run by some experienced local Victorian bookies, and offers a solid betting experience for "real" punters, with a focus on proper racing/sporting odds, fast withdrawals, and a more personal customer service.
Lets Bet offers Top Fluc and Best Tote + SP on all horse racing in Australia - and furthermore, provides Best of the Best on all Saturday metro meets in Melbourne and Sydney.
With only 10+ sports to bet on, Lets Bet could definitely add more to their sporting arsenal. Although, the same game multis they offer in AFL and NRL have a standard multiplier, and not some rubbish algorithm that lowers the odds - which means your same game multi odds can easily be double what you'll find elsewhere.
Launched in 2023, Lets Bet is licensed by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission - For a classic Aussie bookie with high-quality bets, let's bet with Lets Bet.
55. HavaBet

- Software: Generation Web
- Features: Same Game/Race Multis, Form Guide
- Racing Products: Best Tote + SP, Best of the Best, Same Race Multis, Quaddies
Overview
HavaBet came to us in August 2023, and is a prime example of a small bookie that is suited for "real" punters, and not so recreational. It is also a very simple betting site making it well suited to rookie punters.
HavaBet offers one of all punters favourite tote products, Top Fluc - and on every horse race in Australia. While there is a few other betting sites that do this - HavaBet focuses on fast withdrawals, and has someone processing them every day 9am-9pm.
However, HavaBet does not have any of the flash features you may be used to, like a blackbook and live streaming, and their promos aren't as regular as with other bookies.
Launched online in 2023, HavaBet is licensed by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission- Choose HavaBet for a bookie that suits real punters

PuntZone launched just before 2024's Melbourne Cup with a strong catalog of domestic and international sports and racing markets. Expect quality fixed prices, especially opening prices and Best Tote + SP odds on all Australian gallops races.
As expected, PuntZone is lacking some payment options, more advanced features like stats, social betting and live streaming but all-round this bookie has all the main markets that Aussie punters bet on - unless you're a table tennis or esports betting fan.
Otherwise, we appreciate the simple design which is powered by Generation Web's betting software so remains fast and intuitive to use as well as the live chat function, somewhat informative FAQ section and of course the same game/race multis (even if your depth of markets here is limited).
Launched online in 2024, PuntZone is licensed by Liquor & Gaming NSW - Choose PuntZone if you want member specials.

Decent is an apt way to describe BetNova - they're not awful nor are they exceptional. There's a wide range of racing markets including Fixed and Best Tote + SP prices for the main races every week. Sports are less comprehensive but some player props do exist.
BetNova offers weekly promos (until you become a player that they don't want to give promos to) as well as live chat (during business hours), and Same Game/Race Multis. One interesting thing about Generation Web bookies (like BetNova) is that they aren't geolocked so they still work even when you're on holiday (most corporates and all BetMakers/BetCloud betting sites don't work from overseas).
Launched online in 2025, BetNova is licensed by Liquor & Gaming NSW - BetNova is a solid option if you want a new racing bookie.

Other Active Betting Sites Australia List
While we recommend using the Australian bookmakers listed above (in spots 1 through 60), there are plenty of other active online betting sites that you may prefer. These bookmakers range from good quality sites like Sportsbet and TAB that we have personally had negative experiences with so don't recommend, to much poorer websites that even though they have gambling licences have very limited markets and options.

Overview
As Australia's biggest online bookmaker, Sportsbet needs no introduction. They have everything from new features like bet sharing to classics live streaming.
They also have tons of markets and lots of promos. However, they are also one of the most strict bookmakers when it comes to stopping bonus abuse and restricting winning accounts.
Launched in 1993, Sportsbet is licensed by the NT Racing Commission - Pick Sportsbet if you're new to betting and not planning to win much.
67. PointsBet

- Unique spread betting option
- Quick bank withdrawals
- Most betting markets for AFL, NRL & NBA
- Sup-par for horse racing

- Features: Same Game Multis, Name a Bet, Spread Betting, Statistics, Previews, Protest Payout
- Racing Products: Fixed, Best Tote, Exotics
Overview
PointsBet is another bookie that is a really good option for new punters but if you show any signs of being sharp or appreciating bonuses too much you find yourself restricted.
For this reason, we don't give them must exposure on our site but otherwise they have unique markets, decent prices, good prizes and a bunch of valuable and gimmicky features.
Launched in 2017, PointsBet is licensed by the NT Racing Commission and is one of Australia's fastest-growing betting sites. For a new way to play, consider PointsBet.
68. Swiftbet

Swiftbet Australia
Pros and Cons
- Small, responsible, service-orientated
- New in 2022, quick to grow
- Top Fluc & Best Tote odds
- Boring BetMakers design
- Lacking unique markets & features
Quick Facts
- Website: swiftbet.com.au
- Apps: iOS, Android
- Software: BetMakers
- Features: Same Game Multis, Same Race Multis, Speedmaps, Live Streaming, Protest Payout
- Racing Products: Fixed, Best of 3 Totes, Top Fluc, Exotics
Overview
One of a series of new, racing-focused, BetMakers betting sites launched in 2022, Swiftbet offers Aussie punters plenty of valuable markets including domestic and international racing and sports from 15+ different codes. This includes same game and race multi options, speedmaps, international racing streaming, and Best Tote and Top Fluc odds.
Aside from these selling points, Swiftbet is rather uninspiring. Knowledgeable and helpful customer service staff and the occasional well-priced fixed odds market stand out with Swiftbet although card, bank and POLi payment options are somewhat limiting.
All in all, Swiftbet is a good choice if you want something new, something Aussie-owned, or just a new opportunity to get a better price or an extra incentive to play.
Launched in 2022, Swiftbet is licensed by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission - If you need a new racing betting site, take a look at Swiftbet.
69. Palmerbet

Palmerbet Australia

- Racing Products: Fixed, Best Tote + SP, Best of the Best, Best of 4, Top Fluc, Exotics, Specials (eg. fav vs field), Mystery Bets
Overview
There aren't too many Australian-owned bookmakers that can compete with the international bookies in all areas but Palmerbet is one of the sites that can.
Palmerbet's iPhone and Android apps are quality - they're fast, easy to download, and intuitive to use. Palmerbet offers Best Tote & Top Fluc odds for Aussie races and 100+ markets including props, same game multis, and specials for all the most popular local and world sports.
Palmerbet's odds can be pretty aggressive, especially for underdogs and outsiders, but like any betting site, they aren't always the best. We also like that Palmerbet's limits are higher and that their payments are quicker than most online betting sites. Palmerbet is subpar for live betting though.
Launched in 2013, Palmerbet is licensed by the Liquor & Gaming NSW - For a transparent, fun, Aussie-owned bookie visit Palmerbet.
70. CrossBet

CrossBet Australia
Pros and Cons
- Fast withdrawals and 24/7 support
- Streaming, speedmaps, stats
- Protest payout and same race multis
- Few sports markets
- Bad service
Quick Facts
- Website: crossbet.com.au
- Apps: iOS, Android
- Software: BetMakers
- Features: Same Game Multis, Same Race Multis, Speedmaps, Tips, Live Streaming, Protest Payout
- Racing Products: Fixed, Best Tote + SP, Exotics
Overview
CrossBet may not be the newest, oldest, fanciest or most feature-packed bookie in Australia but they do many of the important things right.
Their withdrawal times are right up there with the fastest betting sites (normally a couple of hours) plus they have 24/7 support. While the lack of FAQs and detailed About Us information is a strike against them, the things that matter most - odds and markets - are competitive and more than adequate.
As well as being a local option, CrossBet has a few features that might get you in the door like form stats, racing streaming, a protest payout, same race and game multis, and speedmaps. With no esports options or even cash out, CrossBet is a little ways away from the top, but they're getting there.
Launched in 2020, CrossBet is licensed by the NT Racing Commission - For a responsible operator with responsive support and sharp odds, give CrossBet a go.
71. Chasebet

Chasebet Australia
Pros and Cons
- Huge dogs specials
- "Trending Bets"
- Same game/race multis
- Few sports markets
- Unreliable operator
Quick Facts
- Website: chasebet.com.au
- Apps: iOS, Android
- Software: Punterstech
- Features: Same Game Multis, Same Race Multis, Speedmaps, Tips, Live Streaming, Protest Payout
- Racing Products: Fixed, Best Tote + SP, Exotics
Overview
Chasebet launched in September 2023 on BetMakers offering punters a huge selection of greyhound markets, including meets not found at any other betting site, but without compromising any other racing or sports markets - you will still find all Aussie gallops and trots, plenty of international meets, and over 15+ sports to bet on.
Chasebet's premium greyhound focus is attributed to the team's experience in this area, with the ex-General Manager (Allan Hilzinger) being the former CEO of NSW Greyhound Breeders Owners & Trainers Association.
Dogs aside, Chasebet is an evolving product and now uses Punterstech software. They have speed maps, insights and same game multis as well as very very competitive racing odds. We do think they could work on their sporting features, by matching their racing insights and adding them for sports such as AFL, NRL and EPL.
Launched in 2023, Chasebet is licensed by Liquor & Gaming NSW - For a bookmaker with plenty of markets and even more experience, have a punt with Chasebet.

- Website: betmax.com.au
- Apps: iOS, Android
- Software: Apollo Tech
- Features: Same Game Multis, Same Race Multis
- Racing Products: Fixed, Best Tote + SP, Exotics, Quaddies, Specials
Overview
BetMax went live with their own betting software at the end of April 2024. from the get-go it was clear they got inspired (or basically copied) the design from PlayUp but we won't hold that against them too much considering most new brands just opt to use an existing betting platform.
BetMax offers a wealth of racing options highlighted by Best Tote + SP odds and specials like betting without the favourite and favourite vs field. They also have decent sports futures markets and same game/race multis, not to mention promos for players signed into their accounts.
On the App Store, users have reported issues with BetMax's support team, we had no problem with them though, and we were a bit disappointed by the lack of payment options.
Launched in 2024, Betmax is licensed by the NT Racing Commission - Choose Betmax if you want to try something new.

- Racing Products: Fixed, Best of 3 Totes, Best Tote + SP, Vic Tote + 5%, Top Fluc, Exotics
Overview
Currently, there are six guys working at EliteBet, Daniel (the owner), David, Jeff, Nick, Beau, and Matt. Why is this important? Because it's not often that you know everyone behind a bookmaking operation enough to name them, but with EliteBet good old-fashioned customer service is their m.o.
That has won them a dedicated crowd of loyal punters, as have a couple of other features including their Hot Bets (pro tips), runner comments and previews, instant withdrawals via Osko, same game multis, and overall market-leading odds.
EliteBet offers a range of quality racing products not available at many other bookies like Best of 3 Totes, Best Tote + SP, Vic Tote + 5%, and Top Fluc. EliteBet has also got enough major sports markets to keep most players happy.

If you want to bet on racing then VicBet is one of your best choices.
VicBet offers Best Tote + SP, Best of the Best, and Top Fluc odds for some Australian gallop race plus Each Way, Head to Head, Exotic, Same Race Multis, and Special Betting markets like Odds vs Evens and Favourite vs Field. Overview
Use the code 'MBS' when depositing so you don't miss out!
There's not a lot to say about Rob Waterhouse given that they use the well trusted BetMakers betting software for odds, markets and features.
We can also ass that Rob Waterhouse is one of the worst bookmakers that we have ever had any contact with and the sentiment from punters is also that they are arrogant and untrustworthy.
Launched in 2020, Rob Waterhouse is licensed by Liquor & Gaming NSW - With an acceptable offering, Rob Waterhouse is worth a bet.

We write in-depth reviews of each of the best Australian sports betting sites listed above so be sure to check those out for more information about each of the best Australian bookmakers.
We also recommend checking out our homepage to get a more detailed overview of betting sites in Australia.

We found 222 online betting sites in Australia and they all made our list of online betting companies.
To be fair, there are probably some very small online bookmakers that we've missed however all Australian bookmakers with an online website or betting app that we found made our list of online betting sites.
We ranked the bookmakers in our online betting site list based on a number of factors including:
- Odds
- Range of Markets
- Betting Apps
- Payment Options
- Live Betting
- Customer Support
- Usability of website
- Transparency
- & more
We've used and reviewed all of the best betting sites from our list but not all of the smaller, obviously inferior ones.
All Australian betting sites must have a gambling licence to legally operate so we checked government websites to find all of the legal operators. We already knew about, and had used, most of the bookies on our list but we did find some new ones too.

Born on the wrong side of the ditch, Mason spends his days trying to convince the team that he's as True Blue as the rest of us. When he's not doing that, he spends his days writing, re-writing, and re-re-writing betting site reviews and guides.
This OCDish behaviour would be annoying in most people but when it comes to researching bets and creating accurate bookmaker reviews, it's working out pretty well for the whole team.
P.s. If you do find any typos on this site, please contact us and let us know, it's always fun for us to point out Mason's mistakes.
