Golden Rush Review
Golden Rush launched in September 2023 and was one of the earliest bookmakers to enter the market using the BetCloud software.
Golden Rush does most of what is expected of a BetCloud bookmaker including flashy graphics animations and a slick and fast operating app with no glitches. Customer service is 24/7, fast, friendly and reliable. Golden Rush offers Quaddies, Same Game Multis, Same Race Multis, Mystery Bets, Protest Payout, Blended Bets and Best of 3 Tote.
The odds that Golden Rush dishes up are comparable to some of the bigger bookmakers - they certainly pay have better local odds than most other BetCloud bookmakers like BetRoyale, VikingBet and so on. For example, at a Flemington meeting, Golden Rush offered $2.20 for No Fuss on fixed odds and $5.75 for the second market elect Freight Train. BetRoyale could only dish out a measly $2.10 for No Fuss and $4.90 for Freight Train.
Overall, there are areas for improvement for Golden Rush, but for punters after a seamless app/website experience and reasonable odds, then this is the right place to start. Golden Rush received a 3/5 star rating.

While Golden Rush do trump the odds of many other similar bookmakers using BetCloud, they don’t go beyond offering anything odds wise that will exceed what you can expect from giants such as Neds or TAB.
Golden Rush doesn’t provide any tips, and their analysis is extremely thin. So if you are a punter who values these components, you are best to go to other bookmakers such as BaggyBet and TradieBet. The most Golden Rush will dish up in terms of analysis is the occasional mention of a runner's chances with comments such as ‘Best Rated’, Strong Finisher’ and so on. Often, these can be inaccurate, so be careful if you follow.
The sports markets Golden Rush offers are very thin, and at times there are only offering 6-8 sports available to bet on. This is well below the average of most bookmakers.
