Blended Bets, Same Game Multis

    VikingBet Overview

    Bryce Parker
    Bryce Parker - Regular Punter

VikingBet launched in 2023 and runs on the BetCloud betting software. You can therefore expect appealing and lively animations that go with a very fast app and a website that is user-friendly and glitch-free.

VikingBet offers plenty on the promotions side of things. Offers are decent and there is regular money back for second deals for punters. Loyalty is frequently rewarded. VikingBet also offers 24/7 customer service which is fast and friendly.

VikingBet has made some recent upgrades that involve introducing Quaddies, Same Race Multis, Same Game Multis, Mystery Bets, Blended Bets, and Protest Payout. Tote Betting has also recently been introduced so plenty of improvements have been made over the past few months however there are still areas that could be improved.

Overall there isn’t much that separates VikingBet from other BetCloud-based bookmakers. They tend to have similar areas that need some work but VikingBet does need to improve drastically with their fixed racing odds which leaves a bit to be desired. VikingBet gets a 2.5/5 star rating.

    Full VikingBet Review

While we do like some things about VikingBet, for example that they have a page dedicated to Responsible Gambling and that their sign up process is very fast, VikingBet is lacking many of the features we look for. There is no live streaming or tips available through VikingBet. Their racing analysis is very much on the thin side and there are extremely limited banking options.

But perhaps the biggest negative is that the odds on offer through VikingBet are some of the worst in Australia. Expect to be getting lower fixed odds than at most bookmakers. When recommending bookmakers it is very hard to suggest a bookie that can’t even remotely match the fixed odds of other sites.

The sporting markets Vikingbet has on offer are very thin and like most BetCloud bookmakers, you can’t tell when fixed odds are or aren’t available with a race - which isn’t good enough. Another thing that isn’t acceptable with VikingBet is that when withdrawals are cancelled your balance (generally) doesn’t update. You have to exit the app and enter back in for the balance to refresh and update to the right amount. This needs to be fixed.

    VikingBet App ❌

The VikingBet app is fast & simple to use but has a consistent bug. When withdrawals are cancelled the balance most of the time doesn’t update. You have to exit the app and enter back in for the balance to refresh and go to the right amount. This needs to be fixed.

The VikingBet graphics and animations on the app and website are appealing and plenty of time has been dedicated toward them. A negative about the app/website is that you can not tell when fixed odds are or aren’t available until you click into a race. A suggestion here is to colour code races that have fixed odds available in contrast to the ones that don’t. Alternatively having a symbol or the letters F/FO next to races that have live fixed odds available would solve this and save the user from having to click in and out of every race to find out if prices are live yet.

    VikingBet Promotions ✅

VikingBet has recently introduced Quaddies, Same Race Multis, Same Game Multis, Mystery Bet, Blended Bets, and Protest Payout. Loyalty is rewarded for punters who stick around and use VikingBet often and there are regularly good promotions including money back for second throughout the week and on weekends.

    VikingBet Withdrawals ✅

VikingBet withdrawals are processed in the afternoons from Monday-Friday. Withdrawals can take 1-3 business days to arrive but can sometimes show up as fast as the same night you withdraw.

VikingBet Racing & Sports Markets ❌

There isn’t a great deal of range in each sports market and the overall sports offer on VikingBet is very thin. VikingBet could definitely increase the variety of markets on offer.

    VikingBet Tips ❌

There are no tips on offer through VikingBet. Racing analysis is very thin and includes a 1-2 sentence comment on the occasional runner. These can at times be completely inaccurate and should be taken with a pinch of salt.

VikingBet Live Streaming and Betting ❌

There is no live betting or live streaming on VikingBet.

VikingBet Racing and Sports Odds ❌

VikingBet's odds are very lackluster. More often than not they are well below major bookmakers such as Sportsbet, TAB, Ladbrokes, and Neds and simply can’t compete with most non-major bookmakers as well.

If you are a punter who is looking for healthy odds then VikingBet isn’t the right choice. You can expect to get generally much lower fixed odds at VikingBet than at most other bookmakers in Australia.

    VikingBet Deposit Options ❌

There is just one deposit option at VikingBet - debit card.
