Although the Bulldogs seem to be in some sort of form for the first time this year, they haven't put together 3 wins in a row this year, and I don't think they will now either.

Sydney are looking too dominating, and Bulldogs are only riding a win against out of form GWS. I think the books have got the odds wrong and expect Sydney to win comfortably.

Betting Tip: Collingwood by 8

Bit on the fence on this game, between Collingwood just winning or Collingwood winning comfortably. Either way, I do not see Fremantle winning, nor do I see the Pies giving them a blowout, especially in the West.

Furthermore, Collingwood are the masters of the close game finish, and if Fremantle come out strong following last weeks win - the Pies have the maturity to handle that back into place.

Betting Tip: Port Adelaide by 30

After the most intense 30 seconds of footy ever last week, Port probably think they have divinity on their side and I think North may give them a scare. It feels wrong even considering North to win, but I can see them getting close enough and it will be a good battle of the two young midfields.

Out of form Carlton and in-form Gold Coast, have done the old switcheroo on the ladder positioning, with Suns sitting in the top 8 and Carlton have dropped out.

In saying that, I think Carlton have the stronger list and at home I think they will be too strong for the Suns up forward.

Betting Tip: Geelong by 15

The two teams were 1 and 2 on the ladder a bit over a month ago, but are now both on the end of a 3 game losing streak, and will both be really wanting to get this one back.

I think Geelong at home will finally find some form again, while GWS still struggle with a few injuries and beast Callum Brown out.

Betting Tip: Essendon by 35

If last week is anything to go by, Essendon don't like putting teams away. Richmond, who are the percentage boost of late, usually put up a good fight at Dreamtime at the G - so with all this info, Essendon for a small win seems the clever decision.

Also I think Cumberland is pretty underrated and I think he will slot a few comfortably.

Betting Tip: Hawthorn by 3

Tipping a big upset this week - which to be fair isn't even that big. Hawthorn have been edging closer and closer, and have been plagued with strong teams. They will be absolutely roaring to go after the heartbreaking loss last week. Brisbane have barely put any wins on the trot, and the only half decent team they have put away is Gold Coast.

Tipping a big high scoring game, and Hawks to win in a thriller. God speed for this SGM.

Tipping for another upset here, with St Kilda to pounce while Melbourne are in a current downward spiral. To be fair, St Kilda's current form is also average, but the last few weeks they have come close in good games. I expect they will come out firing, and if they can hold on they can get the W.

Betting Tip: Adelaide by 35

The Eagles have been a bit yo yo of late, and I think this will be the week they are dangling low, which unsurprisingly coincides with their away games. Adelaide have been playing some decent footy, and at home I think they will really give it to their border state rival.

Still, it's hard not to get excited with how Harley Reid is of late. I've been waiting for some experienced player to put him in his place, but he keeps making everyone look silly. Can see him sneaking forward again.
