Adelaide have been very disappointing thus far, and after getting their third loss of the season to the Cats on the weekend, I'm tipping Melbourne for this one. The Dees have been playing well, proving they are still a premiership contender, and even with an undermanned team over in Adelaide, I think they will get the job done, relatively comfortably.

Betting Tip: Brisbane by 25

What happens in Vegas, stay's in Vegas... except playing crap footy, that comes back with you. Not too interested in the gossip, and whether the whole team is recovering from some super Nevada STD - I'm expecting them to still get the job done pretty easily against the Roos. North may come out firing thinking they are smelling weakness and sniffing about for their first win, but now is a crossroads on how Brisbane will perform for the rest of the year so I think they will manage to get the 4 points.

Head to Head: Port Adelaide by 12

Jimmy already started making Grand Final plans after the Dons won last week, however I'm looking forward to him getting sent straight back to earth this week. Port will be too strong in the midfield and expecting Dixon to kick a bag. Zerk-Thatcher may even come in handy for the Port, knowing Essendon's forward line and strategy, he may be able to share some details and even avoid a bag getting kicked on him.

Head to Head: Sydney by 74

Barely have to explain why West Coast will not win, but after Sydney's embarrassment last week, they will want to come out firing and really step on the throat of the Eagles to prove a point. Waterman and Cripps are two of the few Eagles that are actually having a dip, and if West Coast score more than 5 goals this game, they will definitely be amongst the goal scorers.

Head to Head: Fremantle by 4

I think this will be match of the week, and anticipating an upset with Freo. Both teams are yet to lose a game, and to be fair both have been making the most of their opportunities, but I think Fremantle have been more impressive. Overall, I think Carlton are the better team, but on this day, I think whatever is happening over that side of Perth will continue to prevail.

Another big game this week, I can see this game going in any direction. From a 5 goal win to Geelong, to a 5 goal win to Bulldogs. This will be a good test for Geelong, who have had an easy run so far, and it will be interesting to see how the Bulldogs are tracking. I still envision both teams battling for the top 8 this year, but I think on paper the Bulldogs are a better team. Backing them for this reason alone.

Both the young teams had the week off last week, but I think there will be an orange tsunami that will bypass Glenelg and straight to the Adelaide Hills, that the Suns will not be able to evaporate. GWS should have a comfortable win, especially after seeing the obliteration the Dogs handed Gold Coast in their last game.

Richmond shocked everyone last week after beating Sydney, in a well fought out game that they earnt. However, it wasn't without a few casualties with Tom Lynch looking to be out for a while, along with Balta. I think this will be a smashing from the Saints, who will be out to prove a point after losing to the Don's last week. I'm also throwing in Seth Campbell to step up and kick a few while the Tigers are low.

Hawthorn have done nothing but get pumped this year, and expecting this game to be exactly the same. Collingwood are finally on the board after winning in the Grand Final rematch last week, but are still looking pretty average. Ginnivan will get targeted against his former club this week, which although will be lovely to see, with the AFL admitting he received a stiff treatment, they will likely pay him a few free kicks - even if he is going for the Oscar.
