Nothing more needs to be said about how both teams have started the year, however Brisbane have had one less loss, and at least only one of them was at home. Collingwood have just doubled up to losses at the G, and I don't think they'll bring too much good spirits up to Brisvegas. I think the home team will win comfortably and Joey Daniher will kick a bag but he's ruined too many multis to even consider putting him in.

Head to Head: Carlton by 26

The blues have won both their games, but only just, and one of them was against Richmond. While North are clearly one of the worst teams this year, Carlton have barely been smacking any team and North have been putting up a gallant effort in their two losses to GWS and Fremantle. It will be a Carlton win for sure, but it won't be a full demolition.

Head to Head: Fremantle by 3

The Dockers are still on a high from their win against Brisbane the other week, and are coming into this game 2-0, which is the opposite for Adelaide. Adelaide should have won both their games in my opinion, and after a loss against the Cats at home last week, the heads will not be high coming into rival town Perth. I can see this game going in any direction, but to be safe, I am backing Fremantle just.

Essendon is my regular kryptonite of betting, and hard to be objective, however I do think they are a decent chance to win. Essendon had a pretty solid effort up in Sydney last week, who are already shaping up to look like a top four team. St Kilda on the other hand, got handed a beat by Geelong and will have a false sense of security after beating Collingwood, who at this stage are an easy-beat team. If there is ever a chance for the Dons to prove they are a top 8 contender, it's this week.

I'm tipping this game to be match of the round, but I think the home team will get the job done. Both are sitting 3rd and 4th on the ladder with a couple of nice wins a piece, however Melbourne are a bit too undermanned at the minute, and Dixon will wreck havoc now with Steven May gone. It'll be a solid effort in the midfield between both sides, but Port's ability to convert will be the difference.

It certainly is a tough time to be a West Coast supporter, and this weekend will be even tougher. After a 10 goal smacking last week, and Bulldogs coming off a decent win against Gold Coast, I think they'll keep that momentum going and have some serious party time up forward. Our Rising Star pick Sam Darcy played a decent game last week, and we are looking forward to him settling into the team even more and hopefully kicking a bag this week.

Richmond are yet to register a win, and haven't been playing too badly, except their performance against Gold Coast. But they have played Port Adelaide and Carlton, and this week at home against Sydney, I think they will come out firing. Sydney surely will win, but I think it will be a closer game than anticipated.

Head to Head: Geelong by 16

The Easter Monday game is nearly as epic as ANZAC Day. No matter where these teams are sitting on the ladder, I expect it to be a close game. The Cats by right should give them a hiding, but all of the 3122 will be out in full force on Monday to support. In saying that, within the full 120 minutes of game time, I can't see Hawthorn sticking with it and will certainly allow a few goals to be conceded, especially with Geelong's elite forward line.
