Sydney v Collingwood Tips - Round 22 (9/8/2024)

Betting Tip: Sydney by 24

Any period this year up until Saturday, I would've opted to go out on a Friday night than watch this. But now, especially in a year that anything can happen, this will be one hell of an interesting match, with hopefully something to learn.

Sydney have only won one game in it's last six, and that was against North Melbourne. After the absolute demolition from Port last week, they are looking at going out in straight sets come September.

Collingwood, who I, and everyone else has written off, had a great win last week and still have some dream of finals. However, Carlton are in form slump and with it being Pendle's 400th, it wasn't going to be unheard of.

Sydney desperately need to get some form back, and I think Collingwood's finals hope was just a false one, and they'll go back to reality of their less than average season ending soon.

Sydney Line (-15.5): 1.90 at Neds

  • Leg 1: Sydney Line (-15.5)

  • Leg 3: Jack Crisp 1+ Goals

    Brisbane v GWS Tips - Round 22 (10/8/2024)

    Betting Tip: GWS by 15

Huge potential for match of the round. GWS are in some decent form, and pulled off an incredible come from behind victory (and second best of it's kind for the day) against the steamrolling Hawthorn.

The Hawks are the last team to beat Brisbane, which was 10 games ago. It's very difficult to justify tipping against them, especially at home, but I think they are due for a loss and this is the best opportunity for it.

Toby Greene has turned his game around massively and was influential last week, Jesse Hogan is kicking everything and looking likely to win the Coleman Medal now.

Brisbane, are an absolute force at the minute, but if the Giants stars are on song - I think the Lions will get complacent and fumble this one.

GWS to Win (1-39) 3.90 at Neds

    Same Game Multi Tip:

    • Leg 1: GWS to Win (1-39)
    • Leg 2: Joe Daniher 2+ Goals
    • Leg 3: Charlie Cameron 2+ Goals

North Melbourne v West Coast Tips - Round 22 (10/8/2024)

Betting Tip: North Melbourne by 26

The Kanga just narrowly got across the line last week in the battle for the spoon, and will not be adding any more #1 draft picks to their incredible list. However, this is the challenge for #2 and #3 pick.

After getting the W last week, North will be very hungry for another one. And this momentum could continue into the following weeks, and possibly make them a grinch to Bulldogs or Hawthorn - which would do wonders for their confidence into next season. Side note, a lot of hype is on Sheezel, but I'll be putting LDU in for a Brownlow smokey next year.

West Coast also had a very exciting win last week, but that brings me to my main point - the game is in Hobart. West Coast haven't won away this year and lost to North at home. Away from Perth, West Coast have lost by an average of 58 points. At home, they have lost by an average of 8.5 points (including negative points for wins).

      North to win comfortably.

North Melbourne Line (-9.5) 1.90 at Neds

      Same Game Multi Tip:

      • Leg 1: North Melbourne Line (-9.5)
      • Leg 2: Liam Ryan 2+ Goals
      • Leg 3: Oscar Allen 2+ Goals

Same Game Multi is paying 13.02 with Neds (5th of August).

        Fremantle v Geelong Tips - Round 22 (10/8/2024)

        Betting Tip: Fremantle by 20

Geelong are probably one of the safest teams to make the 8, and I have no idea why. The only noteworthy win they have had since April was beating Hawthorn when the Hawks were starting their strong run, but honestly that's nothing new - Hawks have only beat Geelong once in the past 5 years.

Freo have been looking well drilled for most of their games this year, and looked very good against Essendon for most of last week - until everything uncharacteristically went right for Essendon and they stole the win.

Geelong only just got the W against Adelaide, and at Geelong. I think the Cats will get shown up pretty quickly come finals, with probably two wins just before - but this game will be the true test of where they are at.

        Finalsmantle to win comfortably.

Fremantle Line (-13.5) 1.90 at Neds

        Same Game Multi Tip:

        • Leg 1: Fremantle to Win (1-39)
        • Leg 2: Tyson Stengle 2+ Goals
        • Leg 3: Ollie Henry 2+ Goals

          Essendon v Gold Coast Tips - Round 22 (10/8/2024)

          Betting Tip: Essendon by 8

The Dons just survive, only to die another day. But, it will be not be this day.

Gold Coast have pretty much checked out this year, and they can no longer keep their claim to fame of winning every game at home. But, they are very much in the running for continuing their trend of losing every game away.

I think Gold Coast still have a few wins up their sleeve, with a few players coming back such as Casboult, and Miller - but it will not be this week, with King potentially missing out also.

The Bombers to keep their season alive, but not a blow out because they don't know how.

Essendon to Win (1-39) 2.15 at Neds

          Same Game Multi Tip:

          • Leg 1: Essendon to Win (1-39)
          • Leg 2: Ben King 2+ Goals
          • Leg 3: Ben Long 2+ Goals

            Melbourne v Port Adelaide Tips - Round 22 (10/8/2024)

Betting Tip: Port Adelaide by 26

It's almost mathematically impossible for Melbourne to make the finals now, but honestly they can hold their head up high with how they have performed in this cursed season for them.

Port will certainly have no problem putting their foot on the throat and boosting their own percentage in the process. After absolutely belittling Sydney last week, Port would feel that they have a 3 foot endowment, and will come out with some swagger on the big stage.

Melbourne have a bit of dog in them, but this weekend I think we will see that fight in them completely fade away, as their fans have lately.

Port Adelaide Line (-14.5) 1.90 at Neds

            Same Game Multi Tip:

            • Leg 1: Port Adelaide Line (-14.5)
            • Leg 2: Jacob van Rooyen 2+ Goals
            • Leg 3: Jake Melksham 2+ Goals

              Carlton v Hawthorn Tips - Round 22 (11/8/2024)

              Betting Tip: Hawthorn by 4

Potential match of the round 2.0. The showtime Hawks got the smile wiped from their face against the Giants last week, as I mentioned they would, so they'll be coming for blood - and what better opportunity than to do it to Carlton and push them out of the 8.

Both teams desperately need to win this. Unless Essendon pull off a miracle, this game will decide who is finishing 8th in my opinion. Crippa cannot do it all on his own, as he has tried to do this for years and it doesn't work. He isn't Bont.

Hawks to break Carlton fans hearts, and to narrowly seal the deal.

Hawthorn to Win (1-39) 2.30 at Neds

              Same Game Multi Tip:

              • Leg 1: Hawthorn to Win (1-39)
              • Leg 2: Jack Martin 2+ Goals
              • Leg 3: Elijah Hollands 1+ Goals

Same Game Multi is paying 21.79 with Neds (5th of August).

                Richmond v St Kilda Tips - Round 22 (11/8/2024)

Betting Tip: St Kilda by 32

Even this time slot is too generous for this game. There'll be little interest in watching Richmond get another beating, especially from a less than mediocre team.

Richmond is in all sorts, injuries galore, players wanting to leave, lowest house prices in the East. The best thing to come from this game, will be some skill practise for St Kilda to potentially upset Geelong the following week, and keep those frauds out of the finals.

                St Kilda to smash them.

St Kilda Line (-23.5) 1.90 at Neds

                Same Game Multi Tip:

                • Leg 1: St Kilda Line (-23.5)
                • Leg 2: Jacob Koschitzke 2+ Goals
                • Leg 3: Rhyan Mansell 2+ Goals

Same Game Multi is paying 25.28 with Neds (5th of August).

                  Tips provided by Mason.

                  Adelaide v Western Bulldogs Tips - Round 22 (11/8/2024)

                  Betting Tip: Adelaide by 12

While this game has every chance to be a snooze fest / Bulldog demolition / Bont 3 vote blood bath - I'm picking a massive upset here.

The Dogs, one of the most in-form teams in the comp, still have been incredibly volatile this year. Although they potentially have the best list in the comp, this current four wins in a row is the longest they've had all year. Before this, they only managed to get two wins in a row.

Adelaide have some decent players and very strong bodies up forward, that can definitely cause an upset. I think Radelaide would be rapt if they could end their season by dragging down another team with them, just like St Kilda want to. Adelaide have a few more of these opportunities, and more capability.

                  Adelaide in a bog.

Adelaide to Win (1-39) 3.35 at Neds

                  Same Game Multi Tip:

                  • Leg 1: Adelaide to Win (1-39)
                  • Leg 2: Adam Treloar 2+ Goals
                  • Leg 3: Rhylee West 2+ Goals

Same Game Multi is paying 93.08 with Neds (5th of August).
