Hailing from Cape Town, South Africa, Alex moved to Canada as a young rugby fanatic (with a promising career, he might add), but quickly understood that he'd need to switch sporting allegiances if he were to make more friends. While he continued playing rugby, he developed a love for hockey and football, and through this love, became a big betting fan.
