How to Calculate Proline Payout
To calculate your proline payout, you need to multiply your stake (the money you placed on the bet) by the decimal odds that you bet on. If your stake was $10, and the odds you bet on are 2.00, your payout if you won your bet would equal $20 ($10 x 2.00). This payout is automatically generated in your Proline bet slip once you’ve made a selection and added your stake.
Your Proline payout equals your stake multiplied by the decimal odds of your winning bet.
Try it on Proline
You also have the option to calculate your payout through a payout calculator. Some of them are focused on Proline alone, while others are a little more general for any sportsbook.

FAQs about Calculating your Proline Payout
Proline payouts work in a way where if you make a correct selection, Proline will pay you money. The money they pay is determined by the money you have wagered and the odds (probability) that have been provided for the specific outcome.
Your payout is equal to the decimal odds given to the outcome you have chosen multiplied by the money you have put down on the bet. You only receive your payout if you make a winning bet.
Proline bets are calculated by multiplying your stake (the amount of money you place on a bet) by the odds of a winning bet.
If you bet $10 on the Bills to beat the Dolphins, and the odds provided by Proline for that outcome is 2.00, then your payout would be $20 if the Bills win.
That depends on the odds of the outcome you have chosen. If you bet on an outcome with odds of 1.75, your $100 bet would return $75, and you would win a total of $175.
To know how much you would win if you bet $100, you would need to multiply that amount by the decimal odds attached to the outcome you have selected.
To calculate your money line payout on proline, you’ll need to make a money line bet, and then enter your stake into the bet slip.
Once you’ve entered your stake into the bet slip, Proline will automatically calculate your payout by multiplying your stake by the odds.
In our opinion, it’s Proline’s bet slip. Once you’ve made a bet, and entered your stake, the potential payout you would receive if you win your bet will be calculated and presented to you, which you can check before you confirm your bet.
Other options include the Puck Line calculator, and the more general Sports Line calculator.
When we’re faced with American odds, and we don’t want to make a $100 or $10 wager, we tend to use either use Proline’s bet slips, or an odds converter. Alex found the ace odds' converter, which shows not only what your odds will be in decimal format, but also in fractional format. Ace Odds also calculates, and displays the probability of the outcome will be.
If you’re interested in betting on an event and setting your stake to $100, then understanding your payout with American odds is fairly easy. For example, if you bet on a +250 underdog that means that if you bet $100 on these odds, and your bet is a winner, you’ll make $350 ($100 stake + 250). On a -250 favourite, however, you would need to bet $250 to see that $100 return (which would mean you would make $350).
If however you’re not interested in betting with $10 or $100, and instead want to make a wager with $8 or even $20, we recommend converting the American odds to decimal, and then multiplying your stake by the decimal odds. This will provide you with payout if you were to win your bet.
Fractional odds, like when an outcome is given 1/2, are less popular in Canada, but it still may be handy to learn how to calculate your payout with them.
With calculating these payouts, there is a much simpler formula that can be applied.
Calculating your payout can be done by multiplying the numerator by your stake, and then dividing that total by the denominator.
For example, you place a $10 bet on an outcome with odds of 1/2. You would multiply 10 (your stake) by 1 (the numerator, or number appearing above the line) and then divide that total ($10 x 1 = 10) by 2 (the denominator – the number that appears below the line). That would give you a total of $5, which is the profit you’d make.
You can then add that $5 to the $10 you put as your stake, and your total payout would be $15.
Now that’s a little tricky, and it’s where your bet slip on Proline along with sportsline’s dedicated payout calculator come in handy. We actually recommend sportsline’s payout calculator more, because the bet slip for Proline when betting on parlays can be a little complicated.
To calculate your payout on proline with sportsline.com, enter your bets, and your stake, and you’re done. With the Proline bet slip, however, you’ll need to enter your stake under where it says parlay (usually it’ll take the number of selections. So if you have three selections, it’ll say 3 pick parlay). You can’t have any conflicting selections if you want to bet on parlays.
Once you’ve entered your stake into the given field, your payout will be displayed.

Alex, which Proline payout calculator do you use?
I like using the Proline bet slip to be honest. That way I can see my potential payout dependent on my stake, which allows me to decide whether I want to confirm my bet, or change my bet.
Ben, which Proline payout calculator do you use?
I like using the sports line calculator. It’s really clean, and nice to look at, and it allows me to enter the odds I want to bet on, as well as the stake I want to put down. It has also added another layer as it lists NFL experts and their streaks, as well as upcoming NFL games, which I really like.
How to Calculate your Proline Payout on American odds
There are a few ways to calculate your proline payout when betting with American odds. American odds are displayed in a way that they revolve around a $100 bet. So it can be simple if you’re looking to bet with that amount.
If you see odds of +200 it means that if you bet $100, and you win your bet, your winnings would be $200. This would mean your total payout would be $300 (your winnings of $200 added to your $100 stake).
When you’re betting on a favourite, where the probability of the outcome is more likely, there is a “-” in front of the number, for example, -250. With betting on favourites on American odds, the number indicates the amount you would need to bet to see a 100 profit.
So on odds of -250, you would need to lay down a $250 bet, to see $100 winnings, which would lead to a total payout of $350 (your $100 winnings added to your $250 stake).

Best odds converters for calculating your payouts
Hear which odds converters the boys from my betting sites are using:
Ace odds – Alex’s favourite
I like using the ace odds' converter because it’s simple. You just need to type in the odds you want to bet on, and the site generates what those odds would be in all formats. When I’m betting on American odds, and I’m not using a stake of 10 or 100 I can just multiply my stake by the decimal odds, and I’ll have my payout.
Sportsline.com – Ben’s favourite
I prefer using the sportsline payout calculator to convert my odds. The simple truth is that it does everything for you. You have the choice to enter whichever odds you like, and your payout will be reflected. Regardless if it’s decimal, American, or fractional, the sports line calculator gives you your payout.
How to calculate your proline payout with fractional odds
To calculate your Proline payout using fractional odds, you can multiply your stake by the numerator (the number above the line). Then divide the amount you get from that multiplication by the numerator (the number that appears below the line). Then you would need to that amount that you got to the original stake.
So if you make a $10 bet on odds of 1/2, you would multiply 10 by 1 (which equals 10), and then divide that by 2, you would get 5. Then, you would add that 5 to the 10 stake, and you’d get 15.
Ben, do you ever use fractional odds?
Yeah, I like to use fractional odds. We used them a lot in the UK when I was living there, and that’s the default setting on quite a lot of different betting sites there. I’m pretty easily able to calculate my payout while using them as well, more so than with American odds, for example.
You can take a look at the image below to see where you’re able to change the odds settings on Proline:
To change the odds format on Proline, click on setting from the homepage, select odds, and then select your desired odds format. Click on the image to enlarge it.
How to calculate a Proline Payout on Parlays
To calculate your proline payout on parlays, you’ll need to add a number of selections to your bet slip. Once done, enter the stake you wish to bet under where it says “x” pick parlay (the x indicates the number of parlays you’ve selected, so if you’ve made 3 selections, it’ll say 3 pick parlay). Then, you can scroll to the bottom of the bet slip and see how much your bet would return.
Alex, how do you like to calculate parlay payout on Proline?
If I’m not using my Proline bet slip, then the sportsline.com parlay payout calculator. I used to like using the puckline.net calculator, until Ben showed me how to use the Sportsline payout calculator. They have a specific tab for calculating your payouts on parlays which is super nifty, and far nicer to use than the puckline.net calculator.
