Last Updated: 14 May 2024

Since April 2022, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario has issued operational licenses to more than 60 online casino sites. Since then, we’ve tested each of them, by signing up, depositing, playing the games they make available, and withdrawing whatever we had leftover.

Below, you can find the list of all licensed Ontario casino sites.

Reviews of all Ontario casino sites

As we mentioned earlier on this page, we’ve tested all Ontario casino sites after online gambling became regulated in the province. The areas we focussed on most included the range of games provided, the ease of getting started, ease of interacting with payment processes and mobile experience.

Below, you can find all the Ontario casino site reviews listed. Be sure to use the quick links to jump between the reviews, as the next part of the article is about to get lengthy.

Click on the dropdown found just below to access the full list, and make use of the red navigation links that take you to the given mini review found on this page.

    LeoVegas’ Ontario Casino Site

    Pros & Cons

    ✅ Access top games section

✅ Offers Gates of Olympus & Book of Dead

    ✅ Offers newest games section

✅ Table games like roulette & blackjack available

✅ Online casino of the year in 2023

❌ Not the best casino for iPad users

❌ Users have experienced issues with withdrawals

All round best casino site in Ontario

LeoVegas is one of the most established casino brands in the world, and they’ve spent the last few years perfecting a brilliant casino site, and an award-winning app. LeoVegas offer up some of the most popular games in online casino right now, with the likes of Gates of Olympus and Book of Dead both available, along with plenty of others.

LeoVegas also works hard to provide users with the latest games, which they list in their newest, and top newest games sections. If you’re looking to take a break from the slots, LeoVegas make plenty of table game variations available, as well as live dealer games, to get you feeling like you’re in a casino for real. Aside from winning the mobile operator of the year award back in 2019, they’ve added another title to their name, after being named Online Casino of the Year for 2023 at the Global Gaming Awards in London.

As for where LeoVegas could improve, their casino isn’t the best for iPad users, and, after having read numerous reviews on the app store and play store, we found out that some users tend to have issues with their withdrawals. Make sure you follow the steps listed by LeoVegas to verify your account, and complete the KYC process, to ensure you’re able to unlock those winnings.

    Royal Panda’s Ontario Casino Site

    Pros & Cons

✅ Top games are 9 Masks of Fire & Book of Dead

✅ Exclusive jackpots and daily jackpots available

✅ Play scratch cards & arcade

✅ Play table games like poker, roulette & Blackjack

✅ Extensive range of slots available

    ❌ No app for casino

    ❌ Lacks exclusive games

Scratch Cards & Arcade Games Available

Royal Panda’s online casino is one of the very best available. It’s packed full of games, offers up a nice, seamless user interface, and provides users with plenty of ways to win.

On Royal Panda’s Ontario Casino site, you can find top games such as 9 Masks of Fire & Book of Dead, as well as plenty more. Royal Panda is also a great destination for jackpots, making daily jackpots as well as exclusive jackpots available through games like Juicy Joker Mega Moolah, and Sherlock & Moriarty Wowpot. Royal Panda also makes scratch card games available, as well as three different arcade games, which we couldn’t find available anywhere else.

Royal Panda also makes the full catalogue of table games available on their site, including numerous variations of roulette, blackjack, as well as poker and baccarat. The fun doesn’t stop there, as the range of options for slots that’s available will keep users happy for hours.

The areas we felt Royal Panda could improve included their lack of a casino app, as well as the fact that we couldn’t find any exclusive games available on the site.

    Casino Days Ontario

    Pros & Cons

    ✅ 5000+ games offered

    ✅ 24/7 support

    ✅ Frequently releases new games

    ✅ Fast & secure payments

✅ Offers lottery and TV games

    ❌ No casino app

❌ Not the best desktop interface

Best Range of Casino Games in Ontario

Casino Days has spent the last few years building one of the strongest casino brands in a number of different geographical markets. Casino Days' biggest sell point is the fact that they offer far more casino games than any other operator in Ontario, with a staggering 5000+ games from users to choose from. Another talking point is the fact that Casino Days offers up 24/7 support via live chat and email, and they also offer up a range of help articles.

We also liked the fact that Casino Days promises fast and secure payments, while making Interac available. Lastly, we haven't seen another casino operator offer up both TV games, as well as lottery games on the same platform.

Areas for Casino Days to improve include the lacking casino app. Plenty of casino users these days turn to apps, and we feel that if Casino Days were to offer up a casino app, they'd better serve their users. We'd recommend LeoVegas for if you're looking for a casino app. We also didn't like their desktop interface that much. We preferred Royal Panda's interface.

    Casumo’s Ontario Casino Site

    Pros & Cons

    ✅ Regularly offers casino specials

    ✅ 1600+ games available

✅ Offers Book of Dead, Gonzo’s Quest & Big Bass Bonanza

    ✅ Nifty game search tool

    ✅ Exclusive live casino studio

❌ Rated 2.3 on Google Play Store

❌ Could show more games before users need to sign up

    1600+ games available

Casumo is among the most respected casino brands in the world, and have been active in Canada for ages. Their acquisition of the licence in Ontario felt like a very natural step in the development of their product in the great white north. Casumo is one of the leaders in terms of the number of games they make available. Usually, online casino make several hundred casino games available to users, while Casumo make over 1600 casino games available.

Casumo make available all the top games in the casino industry, such as Book of Dead, Gonzo’s Quest, Big Bass Bonanza, and many, many more. Casumo also makes available a nifty game search tool, that allows you to search by name, type, gaming provider and so on. Casumo also offer up an exclusive live casino studio, which was a little different from other Ontario casino sites, as often, others just list all casino games in the same place.

As for where Casumo could improve, a good place may to be to start with their Android app. The app gets poor rankings on the Google Play Store, with some users complaining of issues in the withdrawal process. To us, this means Casumo could do a better job of highlighting their verification process. We also felt that Casumo could be a little more transparent with all the games they have on offer before having to sign up.

Casino Only in Ontario | Sportsbook and Casino Available Outside ON

    Comeon’s Ontario Casino Site

    Pros & Cons

✅ Wide range of new games frequently released

✅ Spell Binding Mystery and Beast Below available

✅ Megaways and Personal Jackpot games available

✅ Live Dealer games such as poker and baccarat available

✅ Handy favourites feature that saves the games you play most

    ❌ Lacks exclusive games

❌ Users have mentioned the withdrawal process as being tricky

    Great for Jackpot Games

Comeon has historically made a name for itself as a sportsbook, but after showing interest in acquiring the license in Ontario, they decided to launch a casino only iGaming product in the province. While it can be tricky for certain brands to become successful when changing focus, Comeon have managed to do a good job, featuring a wide range of newly released games.

Comeon partner with different gaming providers to some of the more popular casino sites in Ontario, and therefore feature some different games. Users can play games like Spell Binding Mystery, as well as Beast Below, among many others. Casumo also offers a wide range of Megaways and Personal Jackpot games, and with all the options available, we felt that these types of games were best offered by Comeon. Users can also find Live dealer games such as Poker and Baccarat available, and can also utilize a handy favourites feature so that you can save the games that you play the most.

As for where Comeon could improve, we felt that they could offer more in terms of exclusive, personalized games. For example, with Bwin, you can play a custom-made Bwin rush game. We thought Comeon could benefit from this, because as we mentioned, they do not offer the same gaming catalogue as some other bigger casinos. Users have also expressed issues with withdrawals, so like Casumo, we feel that Comeon could work to improve their KYC process.

Casino only in Ontario | Sportsbook and Casino in Rest of Canada

    Caesars’ Ontario Casino Site

    Pros & Cons

✅ Slots such as Cleopatra and Dragon Palace available

✅ Spend casino credits on other Caesars product offerings

✅ Table games such as Texas Hold Em & Baccarat available

✅ Play Big Bass Bonanza & Fury of Odin

    ✅ Live dealer games available

❌ Not the best casino for iPad users

❌ App users regularly experience issues

Spend Casino Credits on Caesars Resorts

The launch of Caesars’ online sportsbook and casino was one of the most anticipated in Ontario, and for good reason. The brand has been providing experiences to users for decades, and their online platform does not disappoint. Users can choose from a wide range of slots, from the likes of Cleopatra, and Dragon Palace, to Big Bass Bonanza and Fury of Odin.

Caesars also makes a wide variety of table games available, such as Texas Hold Em Poker, as well as Roulette, Blackjack, and Baccarat. Caesars also makes live dealer games available for those of you out there looking for a more personalized, and a more genuine casino experience.

As for where Caesars could improve, we think that they should work on addressing their app for iPad users. We read reports from the app store that users on an iPad experienced technical issues, and since playing casino on a tablet can improve the experience, we felt that this should be something that they should prioritize. Another issue regarding their site was the mobile app overall, which we feel could function all round a little better.

    BetMGM’s Ontario Casino Site

    Pros and Cons

✅ Exclusive online games made available

✅ Customized featured sections with “ones to watch”

✅ Offers a new games section with top releases

✅ Users can play Cleopatra, Sweet Bonanza & more

✅ Jackpot slots such as Bison Fury available

❌ The app was slow when we used it

❌ Some users mentioned issues with withdrawals

    Best for Exclusive Games

Another heavyweight casino, the MGM brand is well known and respected in the industry for being a source of quality entertainment. Users can truly feel the strength of the MGM brand when they take a look at the casino games made available, as MGM offers games that cannot be found anywhere else. Some of the exclusive games they make available include MGM Grand Millions, MGM Beat the Banker Slot, and 10x minimum.

We also liked that they made a customized “ones to watch” section available that lists new games that have got some attention from their user base. Included in this category are games such as Zeus vs. Hades, 10x Minimum, Blazing Bison, and Space Wars. Aside from these different categories, users can also play games like Cleopatra and Sweet Bonanza that are widely available on other casinos in Ontario. Lastly, within the slots category, users have a varied range of jackpot slots available, such as Bison Fury, Loot ‘en Khamun and Mercy of the Gods.

Issues with BetMGM include a slow app, that can be very frustrating when you’re looking to act fast. Similar to Comeon and Casumo, users of BetMGM have experienced issues with their withdrawals, so we feel that MGM could improve their verification process to ensure that users have a better experience when it comes to withdrawing.

    Bally’s Ontario Online Casino

    Pros & Cons

✅ Authentic Las Vegas experience promised online

✅ Play 9 Masks of Fire and 88 Fortunes

    ✅ Live dealer poker available

✅ Wide range of Blackjack games available

    ❌ Clumsy sign up process

    ❌ Withdrawal issues prevalent

    Best for Roulette

Bally’s is another big name from the Vegas strip to hit Ontario’s online gaming scene. Bally’s is one of the few operators to take the mobile-first approach, as they only offer users in Ontario an app to bet with and play casino on. With Bally’s you’re promised an authentic Las Vegas experience online, where you’ll be able to play a wide selection of games ranging from slots and table games to live dealer games and poker.

We were happy to see the slots catalogue offered by Bally’s, as users could enjoy popular games, such as 9 Masks of Fire, and 88 Fortunes, as well as more niched games such as Marvellous Mouse Coin Combo and Slingo’s Lucky Lany’s Lobstermania. Users can also choose from Live Dealer Poker, as well as a wide range of Blackjack variations.

Issues we had with Bally’s were the clumsy sign-up process, that we felt could easily be improved, as well as the withdrawal issues users complained about, which we suspected to be due to an unclear verification process.

    Lucky Days Ontario Casino Site

    Pros & Cons

    Great range of table games

    Play Buffalo and Divine Fortune

New and exclusive games are featured regularly

Caribbean Stud is a staple game

    No mobile app

No demo options to try out games

    Best for Table Games

Lucky Days is a strong addition to the Ontario online casino market, and impresses with both the quantity and quality of games on offer. There are quite a few exclusive games on Lucky Days casino as well that players can enjoy, which cycles through regularly with their new options.

Table games are where we feel Lucky Days really shines, offering one of the widest selections as well as the somewhat less common Caribbean Stud.

Our biggest issue with Lucky Days is the lack of dedicated mobile app for players to use. Sure, the mobile site works well and offers all of the features, but they are one of the few top end casinos in the country that don't have mobile betting.

    NEO.bet’s Ontario Casino Site

    Pros & Cons

    ✅ NEO.bet Megaways games available

✅ Partnered with market leading casino game providers

✅ Play Sweet Bonanza and Gates of Olympus

    ✅ 260+ slots games available

❌ Lacks an Android app for casino

    ❌ Lacks table games

    Plenty of Slots Games Available

NEO.bet’s unique interface lists its online casino games under a tab called “games”, where they categorize games by their release dates, types, and different gaming providers. It’s quite clear from the offset that NEO.bet is a sportsbook first site, with an online casino that’s not quite up to standard compared to the ones found further up the list. With that said, you can still enjoy a decent online casino with this operator.

NEO.bet makes a number of Megaways games available, ranging from Buffalo King Megaways, to Mammoth Gold and Fury of Odin Megaways. NEO.bet has partnered up with Pragmatic Play, Relax Gaming and Silver Bullet, all of which are titans of the online game providing industry. Each offer a range of uniquely styled games. NEO.bet also makes some of the leading and most popular games available with the likes of Sweet Bonanza, along with Gates of Olympus. We were also impressed to see the range of slots available on NEO.bet’s casino, offering over 260 slots to choose from.

Issues we had with NEO.bet’s Ontario casino site was the lack of an Android app. The operator offers an app for iOS users, but after scouring the Google Play Store, we couldn’t find an app available there. Another issue we had with NEO.bet’s platform was the lack of table games. More of these games can be found on most other casino sites in Ontario.

    BetVictor’s Ontario Casino Site

    Pros & Cons

✅ Solid range of instant win games available

✅ Play Book of Dead, Shark Wash & Vinnie Jones Card Chase

✅ Features different sections for Jackpot King and Daily Jackpot Games

✅ Live table games made available

❌ Casino app can be slow & unresponsive

    ❌ Lacks casino specials

    Instant win games available

BetVictor’s platform is known for being easy to use and responsive. The book has become a fan favourite for all those who have used it due to the reasons just mentioned. Their online casino may not be as big of a focus as their sportsbook, but users looking for the best of both worlds will be well served by this operator.

The first thing we liked about BetVictor’s platform were the range of instant win games they made available. Some instant win games include the likes of Rainbow Fortunes and Super Cash Buster, which are both a fun time. BetVictor also offers up Book of Dead, Shark Wash, and also offer up a card chase game with none other than Vinnie Jones as the dealer. BetVictor features different categories for Jackpot Games, that vary in size, and frequency. BetVictor also makes live table games available, to provide the experience of really being in a casino. Some table games users can enjoy are the likes of Blackjack, Baccarat, Poker, and Roulette.

When it comes to where BetVictor’s casino could improve, BetVictor’s casino app does not function as well as the sportsbook app functions. It’s a little slow, and can be a bit unresponsive. Another thing that BetVictor could improve is its lack of casino specials. BetVictor makes plenty of specials available for sports, which we felt could be applied to their casino as well.

    Betway’s Ontario Casino Site

    Pros & Cons

✅ 9 Masks of Fire, Sweet Bonanza & more available

    ✅ Real Dealer Roulette available

✅ Various roulette & Blackjack games available

✅ Frequently updated new games section

❌ Withdrawals tend to take some time

❌ Customer service could be improved

    Great for New Games

Betway has largely established a name for itself as a sportsbook, but also offers a fully fledged casino with all the bells and whistles. We liked that Betway makes some of the most popular games available, while frequently releasing new games on a weekly basis.

Our big highlights were the fact that you could play the likes of 9 Masks of Fire, Sweet Bonanza, and Big Bass Bonanza. You’re also able to choose from a wide variety of different gaming categories, including games from their new category, slots, table games, slingo, jackpots, roulette, live dealer roulette, and more. Speaking of roulette, we were also impressed by the range of different roulette games, ranging from regular roulette, to live dealer roulette, and lightning roulette.

We did however feel that Betway could improve the withdrawal process they make available, as several users have complained about the fact that withdrawals tend to take quite long. Customer service could also be improved, as when users have experienced slow withdrawal times, they have also complained that the customer service department was not particularly responsive.

    DraftKings’ Ontario Casino Site

    Pros & Cons

✅ Users have the chance to climb a casino leaderboard

    ✅ Live dealer games available

✅ NHL themed slots games available

✅ Roulette, Blackjack, and Poker available

❌ Lacks the range of table games found elsewhere

❌ Could partner with more gaming providers

Great casino for leaderboards & tournaments

DraftKings is another of the big brands coming into Ontario from the US. DraftKings initially made a name for itself by offering DFS, and emerged as one of the early leaders in the gambling market when the US took the decision to regulate gambling in the online space.

We liked that DraftKings made a number of sports themed games available. For example, users could choose from playing baseball, basketball, and football themed blackjack, as well as basketball roulette. We also liked seeing the range of live dealer games available, largely due to the fact that they were all exclusively made available by DraftKings. You can enjoy exclusively offered game show games, craps, live dealer baccarat, poker, and more.

As for where we felt that DraftKings could improve, we felt that while they provided a range of exclusive table games, there was more variety of these types of games available elsewhere. We also felt that if DraftKings would want to improve their casino offering, they should partner with more casino providers.

    Bet99’s Ontario Casino Site

    Pros & Cons

    ✅ Well organized casino lobby

✅ Partnered with 20+ gaming providers

✅ Real dealer games for roulette and poker available

✅ Lottery available on the site

    ❌ No casino app available

    ❌ Lacks exclusive games

One of the few casinos to offer lottery

Bet99’s online casino site offers up a well organized lobby that was a breeze to navigate through. This cannot be said about all other online casino sites that are available throughout the province.

Other highlights we had with Bet99’s casino site was the fact that they were partnered with more than 20 different gaming providers. This simply ensures that you’re able to enjoy a wider variety of games than what is available on some other Ontario casino sites. For example, DraftKings offers a lot of exclusive casino games, but does little to partner with more gaming providers. We feel that Bet99 is better in this regard.

Bet99 also offers up real dealer games, which is the name they give to their live dealer games. They offer a number of different themed games, ranging from Spooky and Christmas themed roulette games, to “turbo” and “multifire” roulette games. Possibly the biggest perk about Bet99’s casino is the fact that they are one of the few casinos to offer up lottery games for users. You’re able to play some of the world’s biggest powerball lotteries with Bet99, which can’t be said for the rest of the casino sites in Ontario.

As for where Bet99 could improve, we felt that the overall experience provided by their casino could improve with the presence of an app. We also felt like Bet99’s online casino could benefit from some more exclusive games on the site.

    SIA’s Ontario Casino Site

    Pros & Cons

✅ Play Lara Croft Temples & Tombs, and Spell Binding Mystery

✅ Plenty of different game types available in the casino lobby

✅ Live casino with roulette, game shows & Blackjack available

    ✅ Live dealer poker available

    ❌ No casino app

❌ Could feature a wider range of new games

Top casino for drops & wins games

Sports Interaction offers an impressive catalogue of games, including the likes of Lara Croft Temples & Tombs, Spell Binding Mystery, and Hellvis Wild. We were also impressed with the number of different casino game categories they made available. You can choose from the more regular categories such as video poker and blackjack, to categories like Age of the Gods, as well as Fire Blaze.

Sports Interaction’s casino also provides a wide range of table games and live dealer games for users to choose from. On their site, you can find dozens of different options for roulette, including live roulette, football roulette, Greek roulette, and plenty of other options. Similar to DraftKings, you’re able to play different themed blackjack games as well, including different sport themed games, along with video poker, and live dealer poker to top it all off.

Areas we felt Sports Interaction could have improved were with the lack of a casino app, or any app for that matter. Another issue we had, was the lack of new games which were better offered elsewhere. Sports Interaction do provide new games, we just would have liked to have seen a few more.

    Bet365’s Ontario Casino Site

    Pros & Cons

✅ Nifty info feature explaining RTP & Volatility

✅ Various live dealer game types available

✅ Online poker in its own specific section

✅ Play Buffalo Blitz, Sahara Riches & more

❌ Casino section could be better laid out

    ❌ Lacks popular slots games

Best for casino game RTP info

Bet365 is one of the leading sportsbooks in the world, but they also manage to offer up a fully fledged casino product. Bet365 is one of the brands we’d suggest if you’re a fan of betting on sports, and are looking for a casino option on top of some wagering action.

The first thing that stood out for us with Bet365’s casino was all the information they provide their users off the bat. If you find yourself a game that look interesting, simply hover over it to view the RTP information (Return to Player), as well as the max win, and the number of times it had been played in the last couple of hours. We also liked that there was quite a wide variety of different live dealer games available, including roulette, poker, blackjack, and baccarat. Bet365 also offer a dedicated page for video poker, and make slot games such as Buffalo Blitz, Sahara Riches, and many more available.

As for where Bet365’s online casino could improve, we felt that it could take a few notes out of Bet99’s casino, which was much easier to navigate and to choose games from. Bet365’s casino layout was a little confusing, and hard to interact with. We also didn’t like that we couldn’t find the likes of 9 masks of fire, along with some other very popular slot games that are available elsewhere.

Bet365 operates pursuant to an agreement with iGaming Ontario.

    Betano’s Ontario Casino Site

    Pros & Cons

✅ Play Magic Jokers, Betano Bonanza & more

    ✅ Partnered with 10+ providers

✅ Game Shows, Blackjack, Roulette & more live casino games

    ✅ Several tournaments offered

❌ We couldn’t find any real poker

❌ Could offer more payment options

    Great for exclusive slot games

Betano makes a complete casino site available, and partners with over 10 different gaming providers to ensure that you have a fantastic range of different options at your disposal. We also really liked that they had a personalization feature that allows you to star a game if you like it, so that you can easily come back to it the next time you log in to your account.

More things we liked about Betano’s online casino included the range of game show themed games they made available, as well as blackjack, roulette, game shows, snakes and ladders, and baccarat. We also liked to see the interactive element provided by Betano, as they offer up a range of tournaments and competitions, as well as plenty of specials.

Issues we had with Betano’s site included the lack of real poker. Many online casino sites in Ontario offer up a wealth of poker options, whether that be online Texas hold ‘em, or video poker, but we couldn’t seem to find any trace of real poker listed on the site. They did offer a bet on poker game, but that isn’t quite the same as the real thing.

    Northstar’s Ontario Casino Site

    Pros & Cons

✅ Wide variety of roulette games available

✅ Play Big Bass Bonanza & Hellvis Wild

    ✅ Jackpot games available

✅ New slots frequently made available

    ❌ Lacks live dealer games

❌ Could offer more game shows

    Great casino for roulette variety

Northstar Bets is one of the few brands to have launched after the regulation of online gambling in Ontario, and is already providing an impressive range of options for both online casino and sports betting. We were really impressed with the range of slots games, as well as drops & win games available.

To expand on what we liked about Northstar Bets, we really enjoyed the range of different roulette games they made available. Users could choose from more classical versions of the world renowned casino game to their specific variations that include “mega roulette fire blaze”, “premium roulette”, “spin till you win roulette”, and “quantum roulette”. Northstar also offers users the option to play some of the most popular casino games in Ontario, including Big Bass Bonanza, and Hellvis Wild. We also liked the range of available Jackpot games, and enjoyed seeing that new slot games were added frequently as we kept coming back to the site.

The areas in which we felt Northstar could improve involved their lack of live dealer games, as well as the less than impressive range of game show options available.

    Pointsbet’s Ontario Casino Site

    Pros & Cons

✅ Play Trailer Park Boys’ Favourite Games

    ✅ Megaways slots games available

✅ Dedicated section for card and table games

    ✅ Video poker available

❌ Could partner with more gaming providers

❌ No Book of Dead available

Play the same games as the Trailer Park Boys

Pointsbet was one of the first operators to enter Ontario’s regulated online gambling market, and did so in impressive fashion, having partnered up with none other than the Trailer Park Boys. We really liked that they made the Trailer Park Boys’ favourite games available, so that you’re able to have the chance to play what those legends play.

We also really enjoyed the range of Megaways slots games available, as these games simply give you the chance to win plenty. Pointsbet also give users separate lobbies for card and table games which include games such as roulette, blackjack, and baccarat. We were also pleased to see that Pointsbet offer up a section dedicated to video poker, which was one better than what was available on Betano.

As for where Pointsbet could improve, we would have liked to have seen them partner with a couple more gaming providers, to simply increase the variety of options they make available. We were also disappointed to see that the smash hit game “Book of Dead” was nowhere to be seen on Pointsbet’s platform.

    Unibet’s Ontario Casino Site

    Pros & Cons

✅ Impressive catalogue of new games

✅ Fun variations of classic table games

✅ Jackpot games such as bonanza blast available

✅ Wide range of different Blackjack games available

❌ No Book of Dead or Gates of Olympus

❌ Casino interface isn’t the best

    Great option for new games

Unibet’s brand had been active in Canada for years, and was one of the first platforms to acquire the AGCO licence. Unibet was put on the map through its sportsbook, but the brand offers up a fully fledged casino as part of its product, which all round does the job.

We liked that Unibet offered such a wide range of new games, featuring titles such as 7s Wild, Action Jack, Balloonies, and many more. We were also impressed by the range of variations for classic table games like roulette, blackjack, and baccarat. We were most impressed by the range of blackjack games they have on display. Unibet have a full category dedicated to Blackjack, offering 20+ game types. Unibet also offers up a dedicated section for jackpot games such as 5 Treasures, Bonanza Blast and Capital Gains.

As for where we felt Unibet could improve, we would have liked to have seen a couple more popular games offered. We couldn’t see any Book of Dead, 9 Masks of Fire or Gates of Olympus. We also didn’t think Unibet’s casino interface was the best out there, and felt they could learn a thing or two from the likes of Bet99 or Sports Interaction.

    Powerplay's Ontario Casino Site

    Pros & Cons

✅ Jackpot slots such as Chilli Extreme available

✅ Poker & Teen Patti available

✅ Live game shows such as Quantum Roulette available

    ❌ No casino app

❌ Doesn’t have Book of Dead

Teen Patti & Game Shows Available

Powerplay’s another platform that has been active in Canada long before Ontario’s regulatory framework was set in motion. Powerplay’s known for offering an easy-to-use book, with a casino that does a decent job of offering a good range of games.

Powerplay’s casino is best highlighted by the jackpot slots it makes available, as well as the fact that users can play Poker and Teen Patti. Powerplay also offer up dedicated categories for table games, blackjack, roulette, and poker. Some of the jackpot slots that Powerplay make available include Dia Mariachi, Crash n’ Riches, and Break Da Bank. As we indicated in the title of this review, Powerplay offer up Teen Patti, as well as Poker, and Game Shows.

As for where Powerplay could improve, we would have liked to have seen a casino app available, and we weren’t happy to see that we couldn’t play Book of Dead, which has emerged as one of the most popular casino games available in Ontario at the moment.

    888's Ontario Casino Site

    Pros & Cons

✅ Slots such as Safari Riches & Big Bass Splash available

✅ VIP casino club available for regular players

    ✅ Scratch cards available

❌ Casino app can crash from time to time

❌ Could offer more beginner information

    Good range of slots available

888 is one of the few brands out there that offers up separate products for sports betting, casino and poker, all falling under the umbrella of the same brand. 888casino is pretty impressive in terms of the way it’s laid out, and it offers, top games such as Gates of Olympus, Book of Tut, Big Bass Bonanza, and Release the Kraken.

888casino also offers the ability for loyal users to join their VIP casino club, along with a range of scratch cards as well.

The issues we had with the casino, included the fact that the casino app can crash and log you out from time to time. We also didn’t feel that 888casino was particularly beginner-friendly, as it lacks some beginner prompts and how-to-play information. This can in turn lead to issues early on, such as putting too much money down, and so on.

    Bwin’s Ontario Casino Site

    Pros & Cons

✅ Exclusive games such as “Bwin Rush” available

✅ Premium games such as King of Olympus available

    ✅ JetX crash game available

    ❌ No casino app

❌ Casino site can take a while to load

    Great for exclusive games

Bwin’s another big brand that was early to enter the regulated Ontario gambling scene. The brand has been around for ages, and offers up an impressive sportsbook and casino for users out there looking for an all-in-one online gaming experience.

We liked that Bwin offered up a range of exclusive games that couldn’t be found anywhere else, such as their Bwin Rush game as well as their Luck of Love, Rainbow Gems, and Solar Flare games. We also liked seeing that they have a range of exclusive games available such as King of Olympus, and we looked to see the way all games were categorized, as there were so many options available.

Things about Bwin’s casino that we thought could have improved included their lack of a casino app, as well as the fact that the casino site could take quite a while to load from time to time. If Bwin were to invest some time and resources into ensuring that their casino offered up a better user experience, their platform would definitely rise up on our lists.

    BetRivers Ontario Casino Site

    Pros & Cons

    ✅ Unique Tourney Section available

✅ Kingmaker game with 676% payout rate

✅ Impressive range of gaming partners

❌ Casino site could be better organized

❌ Some users experience depositing & withdrawal issues

    High payout rates available

BetRivers’ brand was made popular in the US, so their entry into Ontario’s regulated market felt like a natural next step in their progression. BetRivers’ platform has become known for its usability, as well as offering plenty of casino related info to help newer users on their journey. We also enjoyed seeing that they listed users that had recently won, and the amount their bet had multiplied (while keeping user information safe).

We also liked to see that they listed some of their more valuable games with the payout rates, as well as the maximum won bets visible. We also liked that BetRivers partners with such a wide range of gaming providers, giving users more of a variety than what is available on other online casino sites.

As for where we felt BetRivers could improve, the site could be better organized, especially for a site that appears to work hard on its interface. We just felt that BetRivers’ site was a little overloaded with rolling banners, prompts and games, and didn’t have a good navigation aid. Some users have also complained that processes surrounding deposits and withdrawals weren’t the best, and we feel this is a crucial area for BetRivers to work on if they want to improve overall.

    Rivalry Ontario Casino Site

    Prs & Cons

✅ Old school computer theme for online casino

❌ Limited range of games and options

    Retro Online Casino

Rivalry certainly picks up all the awards for approaching the regulated Ontario gambling market in an interesting way. For one, they made esports as the focus of their sportsbook, and but they’ve also gone in with an old school casino feel that was unlike anything we’d seen before. If you’re looking for something different, Rivalry definitely provides that.

If, however, you’re looking for something a little more complete, with a lot of options, we’d have to recommend other Ontario casino sites.

    Conquestador's Ontario Casino Site

✅ Wide range of payment methods

❌ No casino app in Ontario

Conquestador is another casino site that we feel could improve with more time on the market. While they make a wide range of payment options available, they do not offer a casino app, and the site could benefit from some more work around the games they make available.

We recommend other Ontario casino sites.

    Fitzdares' Ontario Casino Site

✅ Plenty of Megaways slots available

    ❌ No online poker rooms

Fitzdares is a classic sportsbook that has been around in the UK for ages. The operator offers up a casino that makes a wide range of megaways slots available, however, they offer no online poker rooms, which makes the casino feel a little incomplete.

We recommend other Ontario casino sites.

    BetSafe’s Ontario Casino Site

✅ Play Book of Dead & Sweet Bonanza

❌ No casino site - app only

Betsafe launched in Ontario in December 2022, and opted for the app only approach, The online casino offers some of the most popular casino games in the province, including Book of Dead and Sweet Bonanza, but offers no website for playing online casino.

We recommend other Ontario casino sites.

    Spin Casino’s Ontario Casino Site

✅ Noble Sky, Zeus Ancient Fortunes & more slots available

❌ You need to sign up to view all games

Spin casino offers up plenty of top of the line casino games that are immensely popular in Ontario right now. It’s not the best casino for prospective users looking to find out more before signing up with them though. In order to view the full catalogue of games offered by Spin Casino, you need to sign up with them, which was something we didn’t like too much.

We recommend other Ontario casino sites.

    Party Casino's Ontario Casino Site

✅ Play Big Catch Bass Fishing Royale

❌ Users have reported withdrawal issues

Party casino forms part of the part brand that offers poker and sports along with casino. They offer up a range popular games, and the site overall is pretty easy to use and interact with. The issue we had however was the fact that several users on the app had complained about the withdrawal process.

As a result, we recommend other Ontario casino sites.

    Video Slots' Ontario Casino Site

    ✅ Wheel of Jackpots games

    ❌ Outdated website

Video slots keep their name on point with offering plenty of slots games on their platform. The site is arguably one of the best when it comes to the different types of slot games it has on offer. The issue we had with Video Slots however, was the fact that the website felt really outdated, and was a bit unpleasant to use.

We recommend other Ontario casino sites.

    Mr. Vegas' Ontario Casino Site

✅ Filter your options by casino providers and games

    ❌ No iOS app

Mr. Vegas offers a nifty filter tool that allows you to sift through their catalogue by game and casino providers, which was something we felt more Ontario casino sites could also utilize. The casino does not, however, make an iOS app available, which, considering apple phones are the most used mobile device in Ontario, felt a little strange.

We recommend other Ontario casino sites.

    Spin Genie's Ontario Casino Site

    ✅ 6000+ slots games available

    ❌ No Poker

Spin Genie’s range of slot games is extremely impressive. It boasts more than 6000 different slot options for users looking to take a spin on luck. The issue we had with Spin Genie however was the fact that they didn’t offer any poker, which left their online casino feeling a little incomplete.

We recommend other Ontario casino sites.

    Spin Away’s Ontario Casino Site

    ✅ Fast payouts

    ❌ Frequent technical issues

Spin Away’s casino is best highlighted by its fast payouts, along with an impressive range of games and options. The issue we had, however, lay in the frequent technical issues users can expect to encounter if they use this site.

We recommend other Ontario casino sites.

    Pokerstars' Ontario Casino Site

✅ Plenty of jackpot games on offer

❌ Site can glitch out from time to time

As their name indicates, Pokerstars is a great option for playing poker, yet still offers up an online casino to Ontario users. One thing the operator does well is offer plenty of Jackpot games. An issue we experienced however is that the site can be pretty glitchy.

We recommend other Ontario casino sites.

    CanPlay’s Ontario Casino Site

    ✅ 24/7 customer support

❌ We found it hard to deposit & withdrawal

A true blue, Canadian casino site, CanPlay is a solid option for those of you who want a casino that’s designed for Canadian players. Part of what they do well, aside from their easy to interact with interface, is the fact that they offer up 24/7 customer support. Issues we had involved depositing and withdrawing on the site, which we felt should be addressed by their team.

We’d recommend other Ontario casino sites.

Play Falls View’s Ontario Casino Site

    ✅ Video poker available

    ❌ Terrible app

Play Falls View made a name for themselves as providers of resorts in Canada, and much like Caesars and MGM, they decided to take to the online space to offer their varied gaming solutions. We liked that Play Falls View made video poker available, as not all other casinos offered this option. The issue we had with Play Falls View involved the fact that their app could use some serious work.

We recommend other Ontario casino sites.

    Caxino's Ontario Casino Site

✅ Plenty of payment options available

    ❌ No casino app

Caxino is another casino-only brand to enter this list, and do a decent job of offering a range of games, as well as plenty of payment options. One thing we would have liked to have seen however was a casino app.

Their site on mobile isn’t the best, so because of this, we’d recommend going with a different Ontario casino site.

    Spinz' Ontario Casino Site

✅ Several Live streams available to view

    ❌ Limited roulette games

Spinz brings something pretty unique to the table with their live streams available for view. This was pretty unique, as prior to reviewing them, live streams were features that we had only ever encountered on sportsbooks.

The issue we had with this site however was the fact that users could not play the same number of roulette games that could be found elsewhere, and as a result, we’d recommend other Ontario casino sites.

    Wheelz

    ✅ Specials on slots

    ❌ Limited roulette games

Wheelz is another casino that is operated by the same company that brings you Spinz and Wildz. What you’re offered on Wheelz is fairly similar to what you’re offered on Spinz, with the only real difference being what is offered for slots. Wheelz does a much better job than Spinz with offering specials for slots.

Much like Spinz however, we didn’t like to see the limited range of roulette games, which makes us feel that you’d be better served by other Ontario casino sites.

    Wildz

✅ Impressive range of payment methods

❌ Limited range of options for Poker

Like Wheelz and Spinz, Wildz is also operated by Rootz LTD, and like the other two brands we’ve just mentioned could do a little more if they want to be more competitive in Ontario. What Wildz does offer is an impressive range of payment options, giving you several ways to pay, which can come in handy if something happens to one of your regular payment options.

That being said, we felt that the limited range of Poker options meant that you’d be most likely be better served by other Ontario casino sites.

    The Score

    ✅ Play Gonzo’s Quest & Jumanji

❌ App can randomly log you out

The Score’s betting and casino brand has become one of the most popular in Ontario, largely because residents of the province have encountered the Score’s brand before. The Score has become known as a leader in the sports media industry. As for their online casino, we were expecting a little more. Users can play some of the most popular casino games in the province, however, their app randomly logs you out from time to time, which can lead to a frustrating experience while playing casino.

It’s for this main reason that we recommend other Ontario casino sites.

    PlayOJO’s Ontario Casino Site

✅ Shows biggest win for each game

    ❌ Lacks game show options

PlayOJO offers up an impressive catalogue of games. The thing we liked most about their casino is that they show the biggest win for each game which we thought was pretty handy for newer users when choosing games. What we didn’t like about PlayOJO’s platform was the fact that the platform lacks game shows.

With this in mind, we’d recommend other Ontario casino sites.

    FireVegas’ Ontario Casino Site

    ✅ Takes responsible gambling seriously

    ❌ Limited payment options

FireVegas, owned by the same company that operates DreamVegas (TWHG Inc.), offers some decent casino games. We really liked the fact that FireVegas takes responsible gambling so seriously. After our time researching the different Ontario casino sites available, we felt that FireVegas were the best when it came to their commitment to responsible gambling. What we didn’t like however, was the fact that they offered quite a limited range of payment options.

As a result, we’d recommend other Ontario casino sites.

    DreamVegas’ Ontario Casino Site

    ✅ Solid RTP

❌ Only accepts Interac, Visa & Mastercard payments

DreamVegas, owned and operated by the same company as FireVegas, offers a decent range of casino games, ranging from slots and table games to live dealer games. We didn’t like, however, the lack of payment methods available.

Therefore, we'd recommend other Ontario casino sites.

    Betty's Ontario Casino Site

    ✅ Frequently releases new games

❌ Not the best user interface

Betty Casino is one of the newer casino brands in Ontario, and offers up a wide range of new game releases on a weekly basis. The issues we had with their site was the fact that their user interface wasn’t the best.

As a result, we’d recommend other Ontario casino sites.

    Jackpot City’s Ontario Casino Site

✅ Partnered with the Maple Leafs & Raptors

❌ Tricky to view all games before signing up

Jackpot City’s casino is partnered with some big names in sports in Ontario. Their partners include the Maple Leafs, and the Raptors. Similar to Spin Casino, Jackpot City doesn't allow prospective players to view the games they have on offer until they’ve signed up.

Due to this, we feel that most players in the province would be better served by other Ontario casino sites.

    Royal Vegas’ Ontario Casino Site

✅ Wide range of payment options

❌ Customer support isn’t the best

Royal Vegas, not to be mistaken with Royal Panda or Mr. Vegas, offers users a decent range of casino game options as well as a wide range of payment options to choose from. What we didn’t like however, was the fact that this casino did not offer up good enough customer support, which we thought was a big deal.

As a result, we’d recommend one of the other Ontario casino sites for peace of mind.

    Ruby Fortune’s Ontario Casino Site

✅ Game of the month available

    ❌ Strange looking website

We liked the fact that Ruby Fortune offered up a game of the month, but aside from that, their site was pretty weird to interact with, which is why we’d recommend other Ontario casino sites.

    Delta's Casino Ontario Casino Site

    ✅ Great casino for Bingo

    ❌ Lacks table games

If you like bingo, Delta’s casino could well be a great option for you. Their lack of table games however left us feeling that the casino was somewhat unfinished, so we’d recommend other Ontario casino sites.

    High Flyer’s Ontario Casino Site

✅ Lists latest winners and the games they won on

    ❌ No casino app

High Flyer’s casino is one that we hadn’t heard much about before reviewing it. We liked that the casino lists the latest winners, along with the games they won, but we didn’t like that the casino did not make a casino app available. As a result, we’d have to recommend other Ontario casino sites.

Deal or No Deal's Ontario Casino Site

✅ Slots, table games, & video poker available

❌ How-to information only available for desktop devices

Deal or No Deal casino, themed off the UK television show of the same name offers up a decent range of slots, table games like blackjack and roulette, while also offering up some video poker. While we liked that Deal or No Deal casino included some how-to information regarding how to use the site, all that information is laid out on desktop devices, which we didn’t think was the wisest move on their part.

Overall though, we think you can do better, so we’d recommend opting for other Ontario casino sites.

    Captain Cooks' Ontario Casino Site

✅ “Brides Maids” & “Game of Thrones” slots available

    ❌ Very old website

Captain Cooks casino does a good job of offering some unique options on its website. Users can choose from a number of different slots games, including games that have Hollywood title themes, such as “Bridesmaids” and “Game of Thrones”. The website itself though is very old, and is due for a complete overhaul.

We think you’d be better served by other Ontario casino sites.

    Casino Classic’s Ontario Casino Site

    ✅ 24/7 support

    ❌ More games offered elsewhere

Casino classic is owned and operated by the same company that operates Captain Cooks. We liked that Casino classic offered up 24/7 support, but noticed that you could find more games if you looked elsewhere.

We recommend other Ontario casino sites.

    Golden Tiger’s Ontario Casino Site

✅ Decent range of deposit methods

❌ Really similar to Captain Cook’s & Casino Classic

Golden Tiger’s got a solid reputation for trustworthiness in the community, and has a good track record of celebrating their customers’ successes. We also liked the fact that this casino offered up a wide range of deposit methods, making your life a little easier when you’re ready to make a deposit. The issue we had with Golden Tiger’s casino however, was the fact that it was very similar to Captain Cook’s and Casino Classic. This means that it’s likely that you’ll be able to find more games elsewhere than on Golden Tiger.

We’d recommend other Ontario casino sites.

    Grand Mondial’s Ontario Casino Site

✅ Lists past winners and the games they played

❌ Games catalogue could be updated

Grand Mondial’s casino is another that offers up a trustworthy platform, listing past winners, along with the games they played. Grand Mondial is operated by the same group that offers Casino Classic and Captain Cook’s Casino, and the feeling we got was that they do a great job of looking after customers. We did however feel that their games catalogue could be updated.

As a result, we’d recommend opting for other Ontario casino sites.

    Luxury Casino’s Ontario Casino Site

    ✅ 97% payout rate

❌ More games on offer elsewhere

Luxury Casino offers users an impressive 97% payout rate, but does not offer the range of games that you can expect elsewhere. We recommend other Ontario casino sites.

    Yukon Gold’s Ontario Casino Site

✅ Exclusive titles & new games released every month

    ❌ Lacks game show options

Yukon Gold is a great casino for exclusive titles and new game releases. The casino offers newly released games every month. The thing we weren’t happy to see was the lack of game show options. As a result, we’d recommend other Ontario casino sites.

    Zodiac's Ontario Casino Site

    Good casino on mobile

    ❌ Only 500 games available

Zodiac casino offers up a great platform on mobile, but the fact that they only offer up 500 casino games, while the likes of Casino Days offer north of 5000 games, make us feel like you’d be better served by other Ontario casino sites.

    Knight Slots' Ontario Casino Site

✅ Partnered with an impressive range of gaming providers

    ❌ Poor customer service

Knight Slots is partnered with an impressive range of gaming providers which means that they offer up a range of games that is competitive with some top casino sites in Ontario. Their below par customer service is what unfortunately holds them back however, so we’d have to recommend other Ontario casino sites.

    Slots Magic's Ontario Casino Site

✅ Very impressive range of slots available

    ❌ No casino app

As the name suggests, Slots Magic offers up slot games really well. The rest of the platform isn’t quite up to scratch however, and to top things off, they do not offer a casino app. As a result, we recommend other Ontario casino sites.

How to choose the right casino site for you

Choosing the right casino site for you is all about knowing what it is you want from it. The casino sites we’d recommend for someone looking to play poker can differ from the one we’d recommend for someone looking to play slot games on an app.

Below, we include a guide that indicates what it is you should be looking out for when on the lookout for casino sites in Ontario.

How to choose your online casino site

    1
Make sure the casino site is licensed

The most important first step in choosing an Ontario casino site is to ensure that the platform is licensed.

These days, casinos cannot officially operate in the province unless they carry an AGCO license.

When checking to see whether a casino is licensed or not, keep your eyes peeled for the “iGaming Ontario” logo. If that is visible on the site, it means the casino is licensed.

Check for i Gaming Ontario logo
    2
Pick the games you want to play

As mentioned above in the pretext of this section, choosing the right casino site largely depends on the kinds of games you want to play.

Some casino sites prioritize slots, while others do a better job of offering table games or video poker.

We recommend having a think about what you want to play before going ahead and picking an Ontario casino site.

    Check for different games available
    3
Decide what kind of functionality you need

It’s not a given that all casino sites in Ontario offer app functionality, so it’s important that you know what kind of functionality you’ll be requiring.

If you’re happy to play online casino from the comfort of your home on a desktop, or on a mobile website, the absence of an app won’t bug you, but if you’re looking for the security and interface that an app provides, opting for a casino that has this functionality is a must.

    Check device functionality
    4
Pick a casino site from our list

Picking a casino site from our list ensures that you’re opting for a licensed casino, and also means that you can read up about it before deciding whether you want to sign up with them.

We’ve listed each casino from best to worst, so that you don’t have to spend all that time searching for the casino that feels like the right fit for you.

Choose an Ontario casino site from our list
    5
Sign up, and have a try

Once you’ve found a casino site that feels like the right fit for you, go ahead and create an account with them in order to take a spin.

How we ranked Ontario casino sites

Not all Ontario casino sites are created equal, which is exactly what this page has been tasked with showing you. While you see a list of best to worst Ontario casino sites, you may be wondering why we’ve made some of the picks we have. The goal of this upcoming section is to explain the process we’ve taken to get to the ranked list we’re presenting to you in this article,

Below, you can check out the factors we took into account when reviewing the casino sites that are available in Ontario.

    Range of games

Variety is the spice of life, and online casinos. The more games you have access to, the better. Quite simply, if you grow tired of a game, or if you want to try your luck on something new, a variety of games can be a game changer.

    Customer support

When it comes to playing online casino, you want to know that you have a customer service department that has your back. Plenty of users go to the app store with comments of how they were disappointed with their experience with either withdrawing, or with the customer service in general. Most Ontario casino sites offer decent customer service, so you should be well taken care of.

    App/mobile functionality

Not all Ontario casino sites offer up an app, so if you want to use one, make sure to read one of our reviews to ensure that you’re opting for a site that offers up this feature. An app can come up big when you’re on the move, but playing casino on a desktop screen is our favourite way to play here at My Betting Sites. At the end of the day it’s up to you as to how you want to play.

    Return to Player

Return to player (RTP), is essentially the amount you make if you win on a specific game. To work out the return to player, you need to divide the amount won on a given bet, by the amount of money you put down. Theoretically, it’s very similar to the margins of odds. The higher the RTP, the more you’re going to be able to win.

    Usability for beginners

If you’re using a casino for the first time, you’ll understand the importance of using an online casino site that is easy to use and navigate through. In some cases, Ontario casino sites provide some good instructional material, such as what is available on Bet365 and Deal or No Deal casino. We recommend starting with one of these if you’re still new to playing casino online.
