For many years PlayUp was one of, if not, our favourite betting site (excluding the big name corporates like Sportsbet, TAB, Bet365 etc.). In March 2026, PlayUp started their rebrand to become NextBet. The reason for this is unclear, but PlayUp never was a great name so maybe it's as simple as that.
Regardless, NextBet remains one of our favourites betting sites. You can expect good money back and deposit promos, sharp sports lines, very competitive racing odds (with early odds released the night before) and a number of racing features for form and multis.
The stats available through Draftstars (their fantasy platform) are great for sports bettors and even if their Same Game Multi odds leave a bit to be desired there's so many other positives with NextBet that we recommend them all types of Aussie punters.
