The Favourites

Kylian Mbappe - 9/2

Mbappe’s eight goals - including a hattrick in the final - wasn’t enough for France to win the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

But the French skipper and talisman did pick up the Golden Boot award for his goalscoring exploits with the PSG striker pipping Lionel Messi to the prize.

Although England are the favourites to win Euro 2024, France remain the team to beat and Mbappe is expected to lead the scoring charts again as Les Bleus chase a first Euros title since 2000.

Harry Kane - 11/2

With three Premier League Golden Boots and a World Cup Golden Boot to his name, England’s skipper is no stranger to winning top scorer awards.

Continuing that trend, Kane has been confirmed as the winner of the European Golden Boot after scoring 36 goals in a stunning debut campaign in the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich.

If England are to live up to the hype as tournament favourites, expect goals - and plenty of them - from their number nine.

The Dark Horses

Cristiano Ronaldo - 9/1

The then 36-year-old finished as the top scorer at Euro 2020 with five goals (shared with Patrick Schick of the Czech Republic) despite Portugal's exit in the last 16. Three years on, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is no longer at the peak of his powers playing for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League. However, with Euro 2024 likely to be his final international tournament, CR7 will be determined to bow out on a high.

Romelu Lukaku (18/1)

The much travelled striker scored 14 goals in Euro 2024 qualifying, setting a new record as Belgium qualified for this summer’s tournament with ease. The Roma forward is Belgium’s record goalscorer and has recently surpassed Robert Lewandowski and Neymar in the all-time men’s international goalscorer list.

Jude Bellingham (18/1)

Birmingham-born Bellingham has become a goalscoring machine since moving to Real Madrid - he’s already equalled the number of goals David Beckham scored in his four years at the Bernabeu in six months! The 20-year-old has the world at his feet and is expected to play a significant role for the Three Lions in Germany.

The Outsiders

Olivier Giroud (22/1)

France’s record goalscorer is expected to lead the line for Deschamp’s team in Germany, with the retired Karim Benzema now out of the frame and Marcus Thuram still yet to convince on the international stage. With Mpabbe and Antoine Griezman providing the ammunition, Giroud’s price may well prove a popular one.

Phil Foden (28/1)

The Premier League Player of the Season was instrumental in Man City winning a historic fourth title in a row, scoring a career-best 19 goals. If Foden continues his rich vein of form in front of goal for his nation, who knows, he could be adding yet more silverware to his haul.

Antoine Griezmann (28/1)

The Atletico Madrid forward hit six goals for France en route to the Euro 2016 final and took home the top scorer award despite the competition hosts succumbing to Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal. Eight years on, Griezmann remains a key player for France and is a dark horse to take home another Euros Golden Boot.
