We were impressed with the slick website design and the open-plan menu of sports on the left makes it easy to navigate, although having the option to customise your own ‘popular’ sports section would be nice.

The app offers an almost identical experience, although understandably there is less available without having to scroll through the home page.
But having a direct link to the football section on their main bar at the bottom is a nice touch and makes it extremely easy to navigate for the average user.
The in-play section is also highly engaging for the active bettor with the flashes of blue and red to indicate odds being changed in real time.

To take advantage of the NRG Bet sign-up offer, users first have to deposit a minimum of £20 which is more than what some other bookmakers currently require.
But the registration process was extremely fast and in line with the rest of the website in terms of being easy to use. I signed up on the desktop and it was a matter of seconds between entering my name and depositing cash into my account.
There was also an option to create one-day, seven-day or 30-day deposit limits, which is in line with new regulations that are being brought in this year for all gambling businesses in the UK to prompt customers to set a financial limit before making their first deposit.

NRG Bet does the simple things extremely well and for most sports bettors in the UK that will be enough to entice them to give their app and website a shot.
There aren’t many better interfaces in the industry and that is easily their biggest asset with no frills in the way to distract the user.
Where NRG Bet falls short of its competitors is with a below-average sign-up offer and their odds are fine, but nothing to shout home about.
If it’s a more easy-to-use interface and overall betting experience you’re after then NRG Bet is certainly worth a go. But if it’s simply for the sign-up offer or hoping for better odds then it might be best to look elsewhere.
