Tote Review

This promotion (a welcome offer) is only available to individuals aged 18 (eighteen) years and over who are resident in the UK or Republic of Ireland and may only be redeemed once per individual customer.

Only one type of welcome offer can be redeemed per customer across the range we offer or might offer from time to time.

This promotion is available to all customers (who have not already claimed an alternative welcome offer) making their first bet of £/€10 or more at odds of 1/1 (2.0) or greater on either sportsbook markets or racing pools within 7 days of registration of a Tote customer Account on the Tote.co.uk or Tote.ie websites or official Tote app (excluding bets placed on events located in the virtual or games section of the website or official Tote app), such bet is defined as a “Qualifying Bet” in these terms.

Once your Qualifying Bet is settled (see clause 11 for further details on qualifying Tote bets), customers will receive £/€20 in Tote Credit, redeemable against all horse racing bets and £/€10 Free Sports Bets available on the Tote.co.uk and Tote.ie websites, which will all be credited to your Account within 48 hours.

Qualifying requirements must be completed within 7 days of opening your Account.

The maximum Tote Credit is £/€20, so if, for example, your Qualifying Bet is £/€50, you will be credited £/€20 in Tote Credit within 48 hours of bet settlement. See clauses 16 to 20 (inclusive) for further details on Tote Credit.

The maximum sports bet credit is £/€10, so if, for example, your Qualifying Bet is £/€50, you will be credited £/€10 in Free Bets within 48 hours of bet settlement. See clauses 20 to 24 (inclusive) for further details on Free Bets.

Only your first horse racing bet, or sports bet with us will count towards this offer. Any subsequent bets will not be eligible.

Only the value of your Qualifying Bet will count towards this offer. The value of any subsequent bets will not contribute towards the value of your Tote Credit, Free Bet or Free Spins.

For the purposes of this promotion, any sportsbook bet will count as a Qualifying Bet, but only the following racing bet types will count: Toteexacta, Totetrifecta, Toteswinger, Totejackpot, Toteplacepot, Toteplacepot7, Totequadpot, Totescoop6, Totewin, Toteplace. All other bets including virtual or games will not count.

In circumstances where more than one bet is placed on the same bet slip, the Qualifying Bet is the first bet added to that bet slip. Totewin and Toteplace are classed as 2 separate bets. By way of example, in the case of a £/€5 Totewin bet and £/€5 Toteplace bet being struck together in the customer’s first betting transaction, only the £/€5 Totewin bet will qualify towards the promotion.

Subject to your compliance with these terms and conditions, we will credit your Account (which, for the avoidance of doubt, is defined in the Tote Terms and Conditions) after your first Tote bet is settled.

This offer is limited to one per customer. In the event of a customer opening more than one account to claim multiple registration offers, or claiming an offer on duplicate accounts, we reserve the right to suspend and close any duplicate accounts and make void any bets placed.

Tote reserves the right to withhold the benefit of this promotion where Tote reasonably believes that such a customer is abusing or defrauding the system or acting in breach of the Tote Terms and Conditions.

Tote Credit

Tote Credit is subject to a 7-day expiry from the date that it is credited to your Account and can neither be withdrawn, exchanged nor substituted for cash, whether in part or in full.

Although Tote Credit cannot be withdrawn, any winnings derived from bets placed with Tote Credit can be withdrawn.

Tote Credit cannot be redeemed across Ssportsbook, virtual or games sections of the website or official Tote app.

Tote Credit stakes cannot be used to qualify for any another Tote promotion or offers.

Free Bet

Your Free Bet must be used within 7 -days of it being credited to your Account, otherwise it will expire.

Free Bets cannot be redeemed for cash at any time.

Your Free Bet must be wagered as a single bet on any sportsbook market.

Please note that the value of your Free Bet will not be included in any winnings.

Your Free Bet will not be returned if your Free Bet wager becomes void.

General

As stated in the Tote Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of a promotion or withdraw any promotion or offer at any time at our reasonable discretion on prior notice to you wherever possible. However, the promotion may be amended or withdrawn without notice, temporarily or permanently, if we deem it necessary to do so (acting reasonably). For the avoidance of doubt, we will not amend or withdraw any promotion or offer where you have already signed up to the terms unless we reasonably believe that you have engaged in or might be engaging in fraudulent or unlawful activity or where you are in or where we reasonably believe that you might be in serious breach of the Tote Terms and Conditions.

TDCO Limited may reclaim any Tote Credit, Free Spins, bonus amount, Free Bets, Bet Credits, refund amount or enhanced payments that have been awarded in error.

We cannot accept liability for any lost, incomplete, indecipherable, or delayed entries caused by technical factors beyond our reasonable control.

These terms and conditions are additional to and operate in conjunction with the Tote Terms and Conditions. Defined terms in the Tote Terms and Conditions shall apply in these terms and conditions, unless otherwise defined.

Tote Guarantee Terms
On all pools where this promotion applies winning bets will be settled (subject to any limits described or referenced in these terms) at the greater of the industry starting price (“SP”) or the standard dividend which is available to customers placing bets on Tote Channels or Racecourses (“Standard Dividend”) both on win bets and the win element of each way bets (“Tote Guarantee”).

Tote Guarantee is available to customers placing bets on UK and Irish racing on Tote.co.uk, Tote.ie and the Tote app (“Tote Channels”) and selected UK and Irish Racecourses (“Racecourses”).

Worked Tote Guarantee example: A horse wins and returns an SP of 11/2 (i.e. 6.50 in decimal odds). In this example the Standard Dividend on the same horse is 5.80. If a customer places a £10 win bet on that horse directly with the Tote (on a race where Tote Guarantee applies) the Tote will enhance the Standard Dividend to match the starting price and they will receive £65.00 (£10 at 6.50). The customer’s payout was enhanced by £7 compared to standard Tote odds.

Where the SP return to a unit stake is to more than two decimal places, we will round up to the nearest penny. i.e. SP = 10/3, the Tote guaranteed dividend will be 4.34. The supplemented difference between a Standard Dividend and the enhanced dividend provided as part of the Tote Guarantee promotion will be referred to as the (“Tote Guarantee Boost”) for the purposes of these terms.

If the SP is subject to a Rule 4 deduction (see Tattersalls Rule 4C) the Tote Guaranteed dividend will reflect that Rule 4 deduction. For example, a horse wins at 5/1 with a 20p Rule 4 to all bets. This is adjusted to 4/1 (or 5.00 in Tote odds). The Standard Dividend would have been 4.70 after all non-runners removed. The Tote Guarantee will boost the dividend to 5.00.

In the event of a dead heat for first place, the Tote Guarantee will apply to both/all winning selections. For each dead heat runner, we will pay the greater of the Standard Dividend and the applicable SP return following the calculation pertaining to the dead heat.

Unless otherwise advertised, the maximum Tote Guarantee Boost per selection per person (or syndicate of people) for this promotion for bets placed on the Tote Channels is £1,000. Any winnings beyond the cap will be settled at the Standard Dividend.

Unless otherwise expressly stated in official materials displayed at the Racecourse or agreed by a manager, £500 is the maximum eligible stake per selection per person (or syndicate of people) for the Tote Guarantee promotion on bets placed at UK Racecourses operated by Britbet Racing LLP (see here for full list) (“Britbet Racecourses"). All sums staked in excess of this limit will be settled in full at the Standard Dividend.

Irish Racecourses and other UK Racecourses may offer an equivalent promotion from time to time, please check the official materials displayed at these Racecourses for availability and more details.

We reserve the right to pay customers at the Standard Dividend (regardless whether the SP is higher) if there is suspicion of:

• price rigging of the SP;

• price rigging of the tote win pool; and/or

• multiple customers betting in concert (creating the effect of a single syndicate) in an attempt to avoid the maximum Tote Guarantee Boost restriction.
