Paddy Power is my king of the ring for boxing betting:
🥊 Great range of markets on each fight
🥊 All major fights covered
🥊 Excellent rewards and promotions
🥊 Quality mobile apps (android & iOS)
Our top-ranked online betting sites for boxing are:
You’ll probably find the best boxing odds at bet365 or 888sport.
However, it’s also worth checking out the online bookies that often offer odds boosts, such as Paddy Power, Ladbrokes and William Hill as you can find some real value with these deals.
That depends on your strategy. If you want a bet to stay alive until the end of the fight then the outright method of victory, or ‘will the fight go the distance’ markets are good choices.
For a more high risk, high-reward bet, check out round betting, group round betting or specials.
In terms of value, we find that the vig/overround (the ‘fee’ that bookies bake into the odds) is generally lower on markets like outright win and will the fight go the distance than on markets with more/more complex outcomes like method of victory.
For a full breakdown of the different payment methods accepted at UK online bookmakers, take a look at our betting site payment methods page.
From Olympic Amateurs to Professional prizefighters; from lithe lightweights to huge heavyweights, you can bet on them all.
The top UK online betting sites for boxing wagers have a wide range of markets open for each fight, including outright win, round betting, method of victory, will the fight go the distance, plus a range of specials (such as number of punches landed).
That means there’s something for everyone, which is one of the reasons we all love having a bet on boxing.
If you’re not sure which bookie to choose for your boxing bet, then you’re in the right place. The My Betting Sites team has reviewed, rated, ranked and compared the top online boxing bookmakers, taking into account the following factors:
Unsurprisingly, we think it’s fairly important that a good boxing betting site offers competitive odds on the main boxing markets that we like to bet on.
You can check how good the odds are yourself, either by opening two or more betting sites and comparing them side by side, using an odds comparison tool, or using an overround calculator.
The overround is the amount that the bookie factors into the prices it offers so that, over the long run, it makes money regardless of the outcomes of any single fight.
It’s the same as a roulette wheel having a green 0 on it (which ensures the likelihood of the ball landing on black or red/odd or even is always slightly less than true probability of 50%).
Boxing bookmakers will have an outright market on most fights, but it's the availability of other markets that sets the real quality bookies apart from the rest.
We like to see lots of round betting options, including group and alternative group round betting markets, a good method of victory market, and other markets relating to fight length (like whether there will be a first round knockout or whether the fight will go the distance).
Once that’s all covered, a good range of specials and futures are the cherry on top.
First impressions do matter and, sometimes, you should judge a book by its cover.
We like to see a site design that makes it easy to find the features that matter the most. For example, we want to be able to navigate to deposit/withdrawal and account management and tracking open bets without batting an eyelid.
Of course, making it easy for punters to find their way through and between different betting markets almost goes without saying.
Why would you spend money at a business that has developed a product that looks rubbish and is difficult to use?
The more we look at different online betting sites, the more it becomes clear that those we rank highest almost always have fantastic dedicated mobile apps.
The majority of online punters in the UK use a mobile device to bet, so it makes total sense that this is a key requirement for us. We like to see responsive apps with intuitive features and fast load times between sections.
The best online betting apps have all the features that are available on the desktop site.
The best betting offers are typically available when you sign up to a betting site. Bookies are essentially offering the same core product, so sign up offers are a really obvious tool they can use to encourage new customers to join their betting site over a competitor.
In the UK the most common type of sign up offer is a free bet offer, generally presented in a ‘bet-get’ format (i.e. bet a certain amount and you’ll get a free bet bonus). These bonuses can be worth many times more than your initial deposit (x6 at Betfred, for example).
Another sign up offer that you might see at UK betting sites is deposit bonus. While the overall offer value of a deposit bonus offer is typically much higher, you generally have to deposit and bet more to unlock this bonus.
While it’s true that new customers often get offered the best deals, there are also some cracking offers and betting promos available to existing customers. These include:
Any site that offers all - or at least most - of the above is likely to be ranked near the top of our list of top betting sites for betting on boxing.
Being able to watch live boxing on the betting site or app that you use is incredibly handy and really adds to the experience - and, frankly, your profit potential as you’re less likely to miss key entry points or cash out opportunities if you’re watching live on the betting site.
Because of exclusive pay-per-view TV deals, there is probably less boxing available to be streamed live as compared to other sports, but many UK online bookmakers still show a decent amount of live boxing.
The standard payment method at online betting sites in the UK is debit card.
At an absolute minimum we like to see at least one e-wallet being offered too (for example, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Neteller or Skrill).
Other payment methods like Boku or cash cards (for online bookies that have physical shop locations) are also a welcome sight - after all, more payment methods means more flexibility for the punters.
The best boxing bookmakers give punters a range of betting offers to choose from for the big fights.
Here are some offers that you should look out for when deciding on the best boxing betting site for your specific style and requirements:
The most obvious offer type that boxing punters can take advantage of is the sign up offer.
While there are plenty of offers and promotions available for existing customers, it’s generally the new punters who get the best deals.
That means sign up offers are a good value opportunity to get your bankroll off to a flying start.
Most of the top boxing betting sites have great sign up offers. You can sign up to as many different bookmakers as you want, so pick and choose the offers that work best for you!
The William Hill sign up offer is one of our favourites. It’s easy to understand, easy to claim and gives new punters a very decent account boost.
Not only is the sign up offer great, but the William Hill platform overall is one of the best for boxing:
🥊 Good range of markets for each fight
🥊 Lots of #YourOdds future boxing specials
🥊 Competitive odds
18+. Play Safe. From 00:01 on 13.04.2022. £30 bonus. New customers only. Minimum £10 stake on odds of 1/2 (1.5) or greater on sportsbook. Further terms apply.
Enhanced odds offers are common at UK online bookies these days.
In some cases, odds on a market selected by the bookmaker will be enhanced or boosted; in other cases, bookies give punters ‘odds boost tokens’ which can be applied to a market selected by you to boost winning bet returns.
In general, the more hyped a fight is, the more likely you are to find bookmakers offering enhanced odds on key markets, or offering you an odds boost token to use on the fight.
You can find enhanced odds on both regular boxing betting markets as well as futures and specials.
Boxing specials are markets on events which are not directly linked to the final outcome of a fight, or which relate to a future event which is not confirmed or for which main markets have not yet been priced up.
Examples of boxing specials that are derivative to the main markets include bets like ‘boxer to land the first punch’ or ‘boxer to receive a points deduction’.
Specials for future events might include markets on whether or not a rumoured fight will go ahead or, for an amateur boxing example, whether a fighter will medal at the next Olympics.
Bookies tend to offer money back deals either as part of a sign up bonus, or as an insurance against a particular outcome.
For example, if you’ve placed your bets and you’re settling down to watch the big fight only for the favourite to knock out the challenger within the first minute, you’d feel pretty hard done by.
BetVictor actually has a ‘Gone on 60’ market where you can bet on this exact outcome but other bookies who don’t offer this market might instead use this outcome as an opportunity to offer punters money back either as cash or as a free bet.
Some bookies, like William Hill, also offer money back as cash or a free bet on boxing via accumulator bet offers.
Hill’s is called Acca Freedom - punters can use this offer on a boxing acca with 3+ selections to either boost the price of the acca or insure against a single selection letting you down in a 5+ leg acca.
Let’s be honest, it’s not that fun trying to follow the big bout on the radio or with live text updates, is it?
To properly enjoy a boxing fight, you really do have to watch it - preferably live.
The top online bookmakers in the UK know this and, despite the fact that big-money TV deals often limit the availability of boxing live streams, there are still plenty of bookies where you can catch some live boxing action.

The best place for UK punters to watch live boxing action while they are betting is, in our opinion, bet365.
Alongside regular availability of boxing live streams, bet365 is among the best of the bunch for the odds offered and the range of markets open on each event. Plus, it offers new punters one of the most generous sign up offers we know of.
Being able to bet, track wagers and browse markets while you’re away from your desktop or laptop is pretty key for most British punters in 2023.
Whether you’re watching the fight at home on the sofa or with your mates at the pub, you’ll be glad of having signed up to a bookie that has a top quality mobile app.
Using a dedicated betting app for boxing betting means you’re less likely to miss out on cash out opportunities, you can quickly edit or place new bets, and you can even track multiple flights on the fly by enabling notifications.
To be honest, there are plenty of really good betting apps that would suit most boxing punters perfectly well. This time, though, we’re going to plump for Betfair as our favourite boxing betting app.
Once you’ve signed up with Betfair, you’ll be able to access both the sportsbook and the exchange on the go.
The Betfair sportsbook app just screams quality - there are loads of boxing specials and futures, a wide range of markets for the big fights, plus regular enhanced odds offers.
Overall, the app is slick and easy to navigate, with clear menus and a smart layout. Live streaming works great on the small screen and using the cash out functionality is also a piece of cake.

If you’re a football fan you’ll be familiar with the Soccer Aid event, at which a bunch of celebs (some of whom really fancy themselves as top ballers) play in a charity football match.
The gulf in class between the top pros and the celebs in the boxing ring is also pretty huge.
However, that doesn’t stop some of the world’s most famous people - youtubers, athletes from other sports, and more - from pulling in huge pay-per-view figures and even larger purses from high-profile pro boxing bouts.
The celebs often only pick fights with the class of boxer that they have a chance of beating (a crushing knockout defeat would damage the brand, I guess).
Despite the lower standard, you can bet on these bouts just the same as with any other boxing match.
The best thing about celebrity boxing fights for us punters is that events involving the likes of Jake Paul present great opportunities at online bookmakers to pick out promotions and offers or scoop up a value price (as these events are typically much more difficult to price up than regular boxing matches).
Jake Paul is arguably the biggest name to enter professional boxing having gained notoriety first outside the ring.
Having debuted in 2020, he’s currently 5-0 with four knockout victories. He’s yet to face any serious challenges but his appeal among fans is, frankly, incredible. Any card that he boxes on is a card others want to be on.

Most boxing betting markets are fairly straightforward. Check out the explainers below which cover some of the most popular betting markets, and always make sure to read market T&Cs before you place your hard earned money on the table!
The outright betting market is the most simple and probably the most popular. It’s usually expressed as a three-way market, with the three options being:
If the fight is, for some reason, ruled a no contest, your bet on the outright three-way would typically be declared void and you’d get your stake back. However, it’s a good idea to check the terms to find out exactly what happens to your bet in all circumstances.
In round betting, it’s up to the punter to pick the exact round in which the fight will end, and how it will end.
Unless the fight is a total mismatch, the highest odds (i.e., the least likely outcome) are typically offered for either fighter to win in round 1 or round 2.
Many online bookmakers also offer group round betting. In this market, instead of having to pick a single round in which your chosen fighter will win, rounds are grouped into batches of up to 6 rounds.
For example, you could bet on Boxer A to win in rounds 1-6, or boxer B to win in rounds 9-10.
The method of victory market is what it says on the tin: How is the fight going to be won (if at all)?
Methods of victory include:
Most of these markets also include an option to back the draw.
It’s worth noting that not all bookies price up their method of victory markets in the same way. For example, 888sport lumps KO/TKO/DQ and Technical Decision together with Points separately, whereas Betfair lists knockouts separately to decisions.
Other than outright victory, this is the most simple boxing betting market. You’re betting on whether the fight will continue until the end of the final scheduled round. Another way of phrasing this bet is therefore ‘will there be a points decision’.
This is another bet where it’s worth checking what happens in the event of a disqualification or no contest. Some bookmakers will rule your bet as void in these situations, others might count bets on the fight not going the distance as winning bets.
This is similar to 'will the fight go the distance' in the sense that it relates to the length of the bout. However, with over/under rounds you are betting on whether the fight will be shorter or last longer than the over/under rounds line set by the bookmaker.
For example, if the line is set at 6.5 rounds, you bet overs and the fight goes the distance, your bet wins.
Conversely, if the line is set at 6.5 rounds, you bet overs and boxer A secures a knockout victory in round two, your bet loses.
Prop markets and specials aren’t always available at all bookmakers. These bets are sometimes known as ‘side bets’ because they generally don’t directly relate to the main outcome of the fight.
Some examples of prop bets in boxing fights include betting on which fighter will land more punches, whether a fighter will be knocked down at any point, or whether a fighter will be given a penalty points deduction by the referee.
Some boxing betting sites also offer specials on future and potential future fights and events. For example you can bet on specific amateur boxers to medal at the next olympics, or for a belt to be vacated by a specific time (i.e. by a fighter not taking a mandatory fight).
