The NFL trade deadline is a big turning point for teams in NFL. It gives contenders an opportunity to bolster their rosters, while struggling teams can begin restructuring.
Teams have until November 10 to complete trades, leaving them roughly two months to see which players make sense to acquire and which players no longer make sense on the roster.
Kalshi's NFL Player Traded market is already highlighting several notable names, with Cleveland wide receiver Jerry Jeudy leading at 57%. A Jeudy trade has been speculated prior to the season starting, after a disappointing 2025 season, despite remaining the browns best receiver.
Anthony Richardson Sr. is second at 37%, with his future in Indianapolis unlikely after requesting a trade earlier this year. Richardson has remained with the Colts since, retaining the QB2 role behind Daniel Jones.
Denver's Jonah Elliss follows at 34%, with Maxx Crosby sitting just below at 33%. Although Crosby agreed to a trade with Baltimore, the deal ultimately fell apart with several other teams continuing to express interest.
With Jeudy's odds continuing to rise, the attention is centered around whether Cleveland's start to the season gives the Browns enough reason to seriously consider moving him before November 10.

Why The Browns Have Incentive To Trade Jerry Jeudy
Jeudy is coming back from a poor performance in the previous season. After recording his career high 1,229 receiving yards in his first season, he finished last year with just 602 yards and two touchdowns. The continued trajectory shown by his week 1 statline has done little to help, with Jeudy catching two passes for 26 yards in Cleveland's 34-10 Week 1 loss.
The Browns have also committed to their rookie wide receivers. Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion both entered the season as starters alongside Jeudy. The Browns themselves identified Boston and Concepcion as potential difference makers heading into the year after using high draft picks on both of them.
Jeudy's contract makes a trade possible as well. He carries a manageable $13.47 million cap going into 2027, with a deal that does not include guaranteed salary. It does help make him more attractive to a contender than a veteran tied to a much larger contract.
However, Jeudy himself has not publicly pushed for a move. His comments since joining the Browns have consistently suggested the opposite. After Cleveland acquired him from Denver in 2024, Jeudy said he felt he was in the "right spot" because the Browns had pursued him for several years and made him feel wanted.
A possible trade appears to be driven more by the Browns' circumstances. If the Browns continue struggling over the coming weeks, moving a veteran receiver while creating more opportunities for Boston and Concepcion could begin making more sense for the team.
Most Likely Team To Trade For Jerry Jeudy
If Cleveland does decide to move Jerry Jeudy, the Indianapolis Colts currently stand out as the most logical destination.
Indianapolis reshaped its receiving options this offseason, trading away their longtime WR1 Michael Pittman Jr. to the Steelers. The trade left the Colts with the same receivers that have struggled to provide a consistent offense, creating an opening for another outside target to join the team.
The Colts entered this season with Alec Pierce, Josh Downs and Keenan Allen as their three starting receivers. However, Allen is now 34 years old and the Colts could benefit from adding a younger receiver as they look for the future.
Jeudy could make sense. At 27, he would give Indianapolis another outside receiver without forcing the Colts to rely entirely on Allen as a replacement for Pittman. Jeudy's 1,229-yard season with Cleveland in 2024 has shown the type of production he can provide when heavily involved in an offense.
If the Colts remain in the playoff race as the trade deadline approaches and feel their receiving group needs another option, Jeudy could become one of the more natural players for Indianapolis to pursue.
