I won’t beat around the bush. The Highbet sportsbook is solid but unspectacular. There are a few things I liked but Highbet won't be troubling the likes of Bet365, Ladbrokes etc. anytime soon!

Football gets by far the most attention. You can bet on matches as far as Tajikistan and Malaysia, as well as the top leagues closer to home of course.
Premier League matches are well covered with over 350 bets to choose from for any one game
La Liga, Serie A and the Bundesliga are also covered comprehensively and even matches from the lower English leagues and the major are well-stocked with markets.
Esports betting - Many games but few markets
Another strength is its coverage of esports. Counter-Strike, Dota 2, League of Legends, Valorant, Dota 2 and Call of Duty are a few of the games available.
The range is broad but the lack of markets for each game leaves you feeling a bit shortchanged (at the time of writing this review, I could only bet on the match winner).
Busy homepage and lack of features
In terms of improvements, Highbet could think about grouping the most popular esports games in one place to reduce scrolling and improve the user experience.
And while the bright blue and yellow colour scheme brings a modern feel, the homepage is a little busy for my liking.
As hinted at, the sportsbook lacks the features of the top UK betting sites. For example, there’s no live streaming (not even for horse racing) which is a biggie for the majority of punters.
There is a bet builder, however, which though fairly basic, is available for 8 sports including football, tennis and cricket.
