3et secures licence to join Irish betting market

3et is the latest sportsbook brand to launch in Ireland, with the choice for Irish punters growing once again following the additions of Fitzbet and DragonBet early in 2026.

Who are 3et?

3et is owned and operated by Guernsey-based gambling operator Eurasia Sports Limited. The brand was founded in 2015 and has operated as an invite-only service for several years but is now opening its doors to a wider audience.

In addition to recently acquiring an Irish license, 3et is also licensed by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC), the highly reputable eGambling Regulator.

3et Joins Growing Trend of Niche Operators

3et is completely stripped back and comes without the noise you’d expect of a betting brand.

The sportsbook covers fewer sports and has fewer features than your typical betting site, prioritising key betting markets including Asian Handicaps, Totals & 1X2 lines with US sports & football, allowing users to benefit from sharp odds and higher stake limits.

The brand’s positioning in making itself more appealing to pro bettors than casual punters is an approach Irish bookmakers have seldom taken before.

But it continues the trend of smaller operators acting on a niche in a fiercely contested market, typically dominated by old-school brands.

DragonBet, angled towards Welsh sports events and specific Welsh markets, is one recent example, while Midnite is a current example of a company going against the grain to provide bettors with something completely different to what’s available.

Midnite’s clean, modern offering is built for Gen Z and young millennial bettors (e.g, aged between 18 and 35) who feel that legacy bookmakers are out of touch with the needs of the modern bettor. Or to put it in their words, Midnite’s sportsbook is “Built Different”.
