I've never heard of Novibet - is it a new bookie?

What has Novibet done differently, or, what's unique about its offering? Here’s what we found:

Few, if any, bookies use an in-action image to preview featured games (like the one used for the Brentford vs Brighton game in the screenshot below).

We really like this. Some homepages can be dull and lifeless but Novibet does a great job of getting eyes on the page instantly.

Clicking on the image takes you straight to the event page for the featured game too.

Whether this turns out to be a fad remains to be seen. But in our book, small touches like this are a welcome addition.

All action layout

Like you, my initial thoughts when landing on the homepage is “wow, there's a lot going on here”.

Unlike BetVictor and BoyleSports where the central part of the page is one neat strip, Novibet has split this in two; the left focuses on odds for upcoming matches and in-play events while the right shows featured promos and top bets for popular events.

Either side of the main part, you have links to all the sports and competitions you can bet on (on the left) and images of promos and betting features (on the right).

Compared with the ‘less is more’ approach taken by those bookies mentioned, the homepage is arguably close to an information overload.

Then again all they’ve done is use a similar layout to the one used by that other betting site everyone likes so much, Bet365.

If you like the layout of Bet365, chances are you will like what you see on Novibet.
