BetNova is one of the most recent betting sites to officially launch in Alberta, bringing both its sportsbook and online casino.

The platform went live on October 19, 2026, joining a growing list of available sportsbooks in Alberta and marking BetNova's second expansion in Canada after launching in Ontario earlier this year.

BetNova Alberta Officially Goes Live

BetNova officially launched in Alberta on October 19, 2026, after completing its registration with the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) and securing a commercial agreement with the Alberta iGaming Corporation (AiGC).

The platform is registered under Goldrush Alberta Limited, part of the South African Goldrush Gaming Group, which also operates BetNova in Ontario through Goldrush Canada Limited.

Unlike several more established betting sites transitioning into Alberta's market, BetNova is a newer name in Canada, first launching its sportsbook and online casino in Ontario on April 9 earlier this year.

BetNova will continue to partner with Delasport, which provides the technology behind its sportsbook and online casino.

With its AiGC approval secured, BetNova is now officially authorized to operate in Alberta, offering another locally approved option for sports betting and online casino players.
