BET99 is one of the latest betting sites to officially launch its sportsbook and online casino in Alberta.

The Canadian-owned platrform went live on October 13, 2026, three months after Alberta's new market launch on July 13.

BET99 may already be familiar to some Albertans, having accepted players before the province opened its regulated iGaming market. However, with its AGLC registration and agreement with the AiGC now secured, BET99 is officially licensed and authorized to operate in Alberta.

BET99 Alberta Officially Goes Live

BET99 has officially launched in Alberta as of October 13, after securing registration with the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) and completing the required agreement with the Alberta iGaming Corporation (AiGC).

The platform is registered under 2786638 Alberta Inc., with the sportsbook and online casino now available at ab.bet99.ca.

BET99 has confirmed that outstanding wagers from its previous platform will not be transferred to the new platform, with unsettled bets voided and refunded in accordance with applicable requirements.

A New Sportsbook & Casino Option In Alberta

BET99 offers a solid sportsbook experience focusing on popular leagues like the NFL, NHL, and NBA, as well as popular soccer leagues like the EPL and La Liga.

The sportsbook has a lot to offer, with NFL live streaming through BetVision, deep player prop selections, and competitive odds, especially when it comes to Canadian sports teams.

Beyond sports betting, BET99 also offers an online casino featuring slots, table games, game shows, and live dealer titles. The Casino has a decent range of software providers, including Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, Games Global, and Play'n GO.

BET99 has also been building its presence in Alberta through community-driven events, indicating they are including a 99ers BBQ held during the Calgary Stampede earlier this year.

The company has also expressed plans to expand these experiences beyond Calgary and Edmonton, potentially bringing future events to smaller communities across the province.
