Death, taxes and one leg of your bet builder failing to land. The frustration of not winning your bet because of one incorrect selection is hard to shake off, right?

But could those times be over? Kwiff has rolled out a new feature, Flex, which still allows you to win your bet builder wager even if a couple of selections lose.

Here we dive into what the new feature is all about and how it works.

What is Kwiff Flex?

Flex is a brand new feature that allows you to win a Bet Builder even if some of your selections let you down.

You can choose to Flex (protect) one or more legs of your bet builder and still receive a payout for the successful selections.

The new Bet Builder feature - only available for football initially - is a permanent addition to the Kwiff sportsbook after launching in December 2025.

How Does Flex Work?

Let’s say you have placed a 4 leg Bet Builder and decide to ‘Flex’ 1 leg. Your bet wins if any three of your four selections are correct. The same principle applies if you choose to ‘Flex’ 2 legs, i.e. your bet wins if any two of the four legs are correct.

The odds of your bet are adjusted to reflect the number of selections you choose to Flex. As you'll see in the images below, the more selections you select to Flex, the lower your potential returns.

But, on the plus side, you have a greater chance of actually receiving a payout!

Nick Albert says...

As they’ve done with various product features and promotions through the years, Kwiff have added its own twist to the bet builder experience, not only to make it more exciting but to ensure players have more control over their bet.

Why Flex is Different to Traditional Insurance Offers

We often hear ‘first of its kind’ in the betting industry. But this really is the first we’ve seen of this feature type.

Unlike traditional acca insurance offers you see on most other betting sites, which usually refund the stake if one leg loses, Flex allows a bet builder to win and a player to receive a payout, even if one or more selections fail.

One of the biggest differences is that Flex is a permanent feature on the sportsbook and not a promotion, meaning it's not subject to an expiry period or restrictions.

What Else Should I Know About Flex?

  • Flex is only available for football, first of all. However, there are plans to expand the feature to more sports in the future.
  • Players will be able to create bet builders with up to 20 legs
  • The feature has been developed in partnership with Tzeract, an AI-driven trading service part of Kambi Group.
  • Kwiff is available to all registered members in the UK & Ireland. If you're not signed up, why not claim the €10 free bet bonus below and create a new account?

FAQs

Is Flex available for all football matches?

Flex is available for football bet builders, but availability may depend on the markets offered. You can expect Flex to be available for the biggest games within the most popular leagues.

Look out for the Flex option on the bet slip of your chosen game to see if the feature is available.

Will Flex be available for other sports?

Yes, there are plans to expand the feature into other sports, but for now, Flex is only available for football.

What is Flex?

Flex allows players to protect one or more selections of their bet builder and still receive a payout for the overall bet.

For example, if you decide to ‘Flex’ (protect) 1 leg of a 4 leg builder, your bet will still win if any three of your four selections are correct. The same idea applies if you choose to ‘Flex’ 2 legs, i.e. your bet wins if any two of the four legs are correct.
