High Roller Casino is expected to be one of the next online casinos to launch in Ontario, but its licensing is taking longer than originally expected.
The casino operated by High Roller Technologies first announced its application to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) on May 27, 2025, initially targeting a launch before the end of that year.
Now, more than 17 months later, the company has yet to confirm approval and remains unavailable, despite having already secured several partnerships to support its planned Ontario launch.
High Roller Ontario Still Awaiting Approval
High Roller Technologies announced its application in May of 2025, with plans to introduce its online casino, HighRoller.com, to Ontario players.
The company initially expected to launch in the second half of 2025, but that deadline passed without the casino entering the market.
In November 2025, High Roller revised its expected launch window to the first half of 2026. That timeline was subsequently pushed back again, with the company's 2026 financial filings identifying the second half of the year as its anticipated entry period.
As of October 29, 2026, High Roller has not publicly confirmed receiving its AGCO registration, and no official launch date has been announced.
Before it can begin operating in Ontario, High Roller must receive registration from the AGCO and enter into a commercial operating agreement with iGaming Ontario (iGO).
The company's latest publicly documented expectations still point toward a possible launch before the end of 2026, although that deadline is approaching with no confirmed approval.
We'll continue monitoring the operator's status and provide updates when further information about its Ontario launch becomes available.
