AbsoluteBet Ontario - Continues To Await iGaming Ontario Approval

Absolutebet was expected to become one of Ontario's newest online casinos after securing its registration with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) in August 2025.

They initially targeted a launch before the end of 2025, but more than a year after registration, its status in Ontario remains uncertain.

Despite the company's website indicating that Absolutebet was to launch in April 2026, the platform remains absent from iGaming Ontario's official directory of regulated gambling sites, raising questions about whether it has actually entered the market.

Absolutebet Corp. received its AGCO registration on August 27, 2025, announcing their move to enter Ontario on September 5. The announcement included the introduction of a mobile-first online casino designed specifically for Canadian players.

However, the initial deadline of December 2025 has passed and Absolutebet has done little to clarify its current status.

Their website now lists April 2026 as its Ontario launch date, suggesting the platform may have already entered the market.

Yet, as of iGaming Ontario's recent directory update, Absolutebet continues to be not listed among the province's 49 regulated operators or 84 authorized gaming websites.

This leaves some uncertainty over whether or not the operator has completed the necessary requirements to offer their services in Ontario.

While AGCO registration is an essential step towards becoming available for Ontarians, operators must also finalize a commercial agreement with iGaming Ontario before accepting Ontario players.

For Ontario users, Absolutebet is a potential new platform worth keeping an eye on, although its future in the province is far less certain than other upcoming casinos like Stake or High Roller.
