The TAB (Totalisator Agency Board) is New Zealand's only on-shore sports and racing betting agency. The TAB has been around since 1951 following a 1949 law change that allowed off-course betting in NZ. At this time, the TAB was the world's first governemnet-run totalisator wagering service.

The TAB is the most recognizable name for New Zealand sports betting and racing betting however we have found that the TAB falls short in many areas compared to offshore betting sites.
