You could never accuse Sky Bet of standing still, that's for sure!
After previously helping develop the modern-day bet builder and, more recently, introducing Acca Freeze, Super Sub, and Squad Bet, the Flutter-owned brand is looking to shake up the football betting market again with its newest feature: Ghost Leg.
But what is it, how does it work, and is it any good?
What is Sky Bet Ghost Leg?
Essentially, Ghost Leg acts as insurance, giving you a second chance to win your bet builder if one selection lets you down.
If just one leg of your bet builder loses, Sky Bet will remove that selection, settle your bet as a winner and recalculate your payout based on the odds of the remaining winning legs.
The feature was first available for the first week of the EFL season, but will only be available for Premier League matches going forward.
Sky Bet Ghost Leg - How it Works
- Ghost Leg tokens are made available in the Promotions Hub of your account. Each new token requires you to opt in.
- Once you've opted in, apply the token to a pre-match Premier League BuildABet (bet builder) with at least five legs and combined minimum odds of 4.00. Make sure your stake is no more than €5 (the maximum stake for Ghost Leg bets).
- If exactly one selection in your bet builder loses, but the remaining legs win, Sky Bet will completely remove the selection and settle your bet as a winner. Your wager is then recalculated, with the final payout odds based on the winning selections (and excluding the losing leg).

Who Is Eligible for Ghost Leg?
