BetWright Overview
Launched in December 2024, BetWright is a newly licensed UK gambling site for punters to get their teeth stuck into. Its sportsbook shares the same user-friendly platform as newish bookies Priced Up Bet and NRG Bet, which have impressed UK punters. Like with the brands mentioned, BetWright isn't loaded with features but you'll find racing live streaming and a very nice live tracker for in-play betting. It's fair to say that this isn't the most exciting betting site we've reviewed, but BetWright is a safe, straightforward, no-fuss sportsbook and an excellent option for punters seeking something new.

Pros & Cons
What we like about BetWright ✅
It’s sometimes overlooked in sports betting but being able to easily navigate the site or app makes a huge difference to the whole experience and BetWright have the right blend.
A lot of bookies now have this included, but BetWright appear to be trying to target the horse racing audience a lot and the live stream service is simply and effective as well as offering commentary, which is a big plus.
What we don't like about BetWright ❌
Not having a welcome offer at the moment is a big downside for BetWright for punters looking to sign up for new sites.
The odds on offer at BetWright are fair and the average bettor won't notice too much of a difference, but there aren't any that truly stand out.
BetWright does the simple things well with football and horse racing, but the more niche markets such as esports and athletics are currently not available.
Odds Comparison
Despite being new to the scene, BetWright offer some reasonable odds compared to some of the bigger operators on the market. Our search focused on the more popular sports in the UK in football and horse racing over several days to determine a fair reflection of the market.
We found that BetWright were close in most markets and even matched some odds in football and horse racing as well.
There are limited boosted odds available, which are fractionally better than some rival bookmakers. Hopefully their boosted odds page will be given more attention in the future once they become more established.
Based on the odds alone, BetWright offers some competitive picks but they're might be better options out there.

BetWright Payment Methods
BetWright stands out as one of the bookmakers which allows players to make deposits from as little as £1.
The platform supports several payment methods, including but not limited to Visa, Mastercard, Maestro or bank transfer.
All deposits and withdrawals are fee-free.
Registration Process
BetWright uses a similar platform to the highly-rated and hugely popular design on all Playbook sites, such as BresBet and that results in a similarly smooth sign-up process. Users are able to deposit funds within seconds of opening their accounts. Bettors can also get started with as little as £1.
- Click ‘sign up’ in the top right corner and then get started with your email and a password.
- Fill in your personal information - full name, date of birth, phone number and address
- The next page allows you to set deposit limits for a day, week or 30-day period. Or you can opt to skip
- Accept terms and conditions
- Click finish process and the account is now created!
BetWright Website and App Experience
Website
Bettors looking for a new site that is simple to navigate will find everything they need on BetWright.
It's open-plan navigation menu on the left makes it extremely easy to pick which sport you’re looking for.
The football page is expansive enough for the average user, however games don't appear to be listed in chronological order which may confuse some.
Finding the boosted odds section on the website is also tougher than necessary if you fail to see them on the home page.
If you miss it then it’s only available by scrolling the dropdown menu at the top for ‘select competition’ and clicking ‘Football Price Boosts’.
More focus appears to be put on making the horse racing section stand out with an engaging graphic showing the price history of each horse in the races.
Overall, the website does enough for the average punter but there’s still some tweaks needed to be made.
App
The app offers a little more than the website does, particularly in regards to the boosted odds. There’s a clear lightning bolt picture above the word ‘boosts’ on their navigation menu, which is put in the middle of the page.
It’s a lot more appealing to the eye with some of the more popular betting sections put on that menu along with pictures relating to that sport such as football, tennis and horse racing.
The same ‘price history’ feature used on the website for its horse racing section is used, although it only features two historical prices compared to the four on desktop.
But the same issues with the football page online are prevalent on the app, making it a little confusing to use.

BetWright Markets
Football Markets ⚽️
As a UK sportsbook, BetWright’s main focus is understandably with the football market and that’s where the limited boosted odds can predominantly be found.
It’s a solid option for football fans, but there are many more platforms with more expansive options and better odds overall.
The bet builder and in-play features are a big plus, but more can be done to make the football betting experience a bit better.

Horse Racing Markets 🐎
Much like with football, a lot of attention has been put on the horse racing section with some competitive odds matching the likes of Bet365 and Paddy Power.
There are also extensive race options available up and down the UK & Ireland as well as international meets in America, Saudi Arabia, France and others.
The live streaming service is a nice touch to ensure users don’t need to go elsewhere and as well as the price history to give the bettor a little more information, making it one of the top horse racing betting sites in the UK.

What Do We REALLY Think Of BetWright?
There’s not a huge amount to get excited about BetWright’s platform at the moment, particularly with no sign-up offer. There’s a lack of niche markets and some aspects of the website and app need tweaking to make the betting experience more enjoyable as well.
For those simply looking to try a solid sports betting platform with the potential of some boosted odds being slightly better than elsewhere then BetWright is the right choice. But, until BetWright offers more promotions, there is likely to be better options out there.
