Will Dabble Be Launching in Ireland?
If you’ve been keeping tabs on which betting companies are licensed in Ireland under the new gambling regulations, you may have noticed the recent addition of Dabble, the Australian-born social betting company.
Available only as an app, Dabble blends traditional sports betting with social media features, letting users wager on their favourite games while in the (virtual) company of friends. And the offering could soon be available to Irish users.
Talk of a potential Irish launch for Dabble initially surfaced in January of this year, when Dabble Sports Ireland Ltd was established.
That speculation has since heightened after the company was issued an Irish licence by the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland (GRAI) on 10th September, adding to the licences it already holds in the UK, the US and Australia.

Dabble Steadily Growing Presence in the UK
The mobile-first social betting app entered the UK market in June 2025 and has already established a strong foothold.
Dabble’s fresh approach, including social features like ‘The Banter Hub’, ‘Copy Bet’ and Activity Feeds, is a far cry from traditional online bookmakers and a great alternative to the established names.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, given its engaging style and vibrant appearance, Dabble has become a hit with the younger generation and has carved out a niche for itself in a saturated market.
Is the Irish Market Next for Dabble?
While nothing is confirmed, Dabble's addition to the GRAI licence register raises the prospect of an expansion into Ireland.
The social media gambling company’s success so far in the UK certainly lends credence to the idea that Ireland may well be the next market in which Dabble makes a splash.
For now, it’s wait-and-see, but rest assured, MyBettingSites.com/ie will cover news of any launch.
