Serious punters know BonusBank is Australia's biggest matched betting tool but what about alternatives like WagerWise?

WagerWise has all the tools you need for matched betting (including a database of bookies and promos) but where they really shine is with their live odds data and technology.

WagerWise's +EV, arbitrage and middles tools are updated in real time on their app. This means you get real value bets, and sure bets as soon as they become available, for 110+ Australian bookmakers. This makes WagerWise the most powerful +EV and arbing tool I've used in Australia.

We also really love how simple they make value betting as you can enter your bankroll/stake size and it will give you the optimal stakes for your bets (using the Kelly criterion).

This is not to mention their bet tracking software, calculators, odds comparison, and educational resources (Learning Zone) - which are all top notch.

What are the cons? Odds comparison is only available for main markets and sports, there are occasional bugs (although support is very responsive), their data on bonuses is not as complete as BonusBank's and their Discord is a bit dead (apart from the daily and quite salesy YouTube shorts they post).

So, should you sign up? Yes, if you still have access to many bookmaker accounts (are not restricted yet) and you passed Year 12 math then you'll be able to profit from WagerWise. Just how profitable you'll be will depend on your commitment but their software and resources definitely give you everything you'll need to value bet successfully.

What is WagerWise?

WagerWise is a +EV, arbitrage and matched betting software that uses live bookmaker odds to recommend the optimal bets for its users.

They also have educational resources, a mobile app, a bet tracker, betting calculators and customer support - all with the purpose of helping their users to bet profitably.

Can You Make Money with WagerWise Arbitrage and +EV Betting?

Yes, unless you are thick or ill disciplined, you can make money from arbing and +EV betting with WagerWise.

WagerWise's tools give you live arbitrage opportunities for 15+ of Australia's biggest bookies. Because arbitrage bets are risk free, you will make money from every single one of these.

+EV betting is slightly more complicated because variance, stake size and the number of bets you place all play a part in how quickly and by how much you will profit. But WagerWise teaches you everything you need to know to +EV bet successfully and their +EV live odds tool also makes finding value bets easy as.

The question really is not can you make money with WagerWise but rather how can you keep your accounts active and free from restrictions for as long as possible so that you can continue to milk bookie bonuses and value bets?

For this, WagerWise also has a helpful module on account sustainability.

Is WagerWise Good for Match Betting in Australia?

WagerWise is fine for matched betting, but there are other similarly good matched betting tools in Australia like BonusBank and Outmatched.

WagerWise does a good job of educating you on how to matched bet in their Learning Hub, and we really like that they recommend the ideal stake size based on your bonus/live odds. However, their database of bonuses is somewhat limited compared to others out there.

Is WagerWise Worth the Subscription Cost?

WagerWise costs at most $40 a week ($5.70 per day) but you save by paying monthly or quarterly (down to $2.20 per day). So even if you take their most expensive payment plan you'll only need to make $40 on average, per week, to cover your costs.

Not only can you make that back with one matched bonus bet, but you can expect to make 10% or more on EV betting alone which means that for every $400 a week you stake, you'll get your money back (of course this is an average but the bigger your bankroll and the more bets you place the bigger this number will be).

So yes, WagerWise is worth the subscription cost (as long as you are not already restricted from most bookies or unwilling to learn and implement the strategies that +EV, arbitrage and matched betting require).
