Stake Overview

Alex Goldstein

Alex Goldstein

Stake is fast becoming one of the most popular sports betting sites. The site offers up live-streaming for a wide range of sports it offers in-play betting for. There are a huge range of sports to choose from (39 to be exact), with plenty of betting options to wager on. Stake is also a leader in crypto betting, offers 24/7 support, and is probably most famous for the fact that superstar Drake regularly places bets with them. Stake could improve by offering a few more lines for NFL games, and would do well to develop an app for mobile bettors.

Key Takeaways from this Stake Review

Stake promotes itself as one of the leading crypto betting websites, but in truth, they offer far more than that alone. Aside from their acceptance of crypto deposits, this sportsbook offers a staggering number of sports to bet on, with decent options for all of them. Stake also offers a wide range of live-streaming options for in play sports, and the sportsbook has recently grown in popularity after superstar Canadian rapper, Drake, has come out with images showing that he uses Stake.

Like any sportsbook, Stake could improve in some areas. In particular, Stake could offer more betting options for NFL games. We were disappointed to see a lack of props, for example. Stake could also look to develop an app, as currently, they don’t offer one.

Below, you can see how main pros and cons regarding Stake.

What we like about Stake

✅ So many sports to bet on - a staggering 39 in total

✅ Live streaming for ice hockey, tennis, soccer and more

✅ A leading crypto betting site, accepting Bitcoin, Litecoin and more

✅ Actively used by Drake

What we dislike about Stake

❌ Stake could offer more options on NFL games

❌ Stake should look to develop a sports betting app

Stake Review - Our Verdict

Stake has grown considerably in popularity due to Drake openly using the sportsbook for placing his big money bets. What users might also enjoy about this book is the fact that it’s one of the leading crypto betting sites, accepting deposits through a wide range of cryptocurrencies. Stake also offers up an impressive range of nearly 40 sports for users to bet on, and also offers live-streaming for a wide range of in-play sports they offer as part of their platform.

Like most betting sites, Stake isn’t perfect. For one, we were disappointed to see that Stake offers limited options for NFL games. Stake could take a bit of inspiration from Bet365 when it comes to NFL betting options.

Another issue we found was the fact that Stake did not yet offer an app. With many sports bettors now taking to their mobile devices to bet, developing an app is in Stake’s best interests, just ask LeoVegas.
