BetGrouse Overview
Established in 2023, BetGrouse is one of the newest UK betting sites you will find. Its strengths are the wide range of payment methods and 30+ sports available to bet on. To improve, BetGrouse could consider improving its bet builder and adding more promotions. On the whole, BetGrouse is a solid option for UK bettors.

Promotions at BetGrouse
There aren’t any promotions for the BetGrouse sportsbook, which is always a big negative.
It’s doubly disappointing as there are a couple of promos for regular casino users, so it’s clear where BetGrouse’s priorities lie.
Overview of BetGrouse
BetGrouse is a pretty basic betting site that doesn’t make much effort to be user-friendly, offering a layout that’s reminiscent of a sportsbook from years ago.
All the games and events are simply shown in rows without an effort to make them appealing, and fails to give punters a reason to click on a game - such as with promos or boosted odds.
There’s 32 sports to bet on so at least there’s plenty to choose from, and most of these sports carry lots of tournaments ranging from the most popular all the way down to less-common leagues.
BetGrouse homepage
One thing that particularly frustrated me during this review of BetGrouse is the fact that the site defaults to, and is traded in, decimal odds.
This isn’t a bad thing in isolation, but changing this to fractional means you regularly see prices like 147/20, 78/5, or 117/20. Not very easy to immediately understand.
Betting on Football
Football betting at BetGrouse is decent if fairly bland. Everything you’d expect to be offered is there, with nothing to set it apart from other UK betting sites.
You can bet on leagues from all over the world so whether you prefer England or Azerbaijan, you’re covered - but don’t expect much depth. Most games are limited to the usual markets like match winner, goals, half betting, scorers, and cards.
Bet Builder exists, which allows you to combine some of these markets into a single bet, but not for every game.
Everyone loves a bet builder. I'm not sure BetGrouse understands this.
For instance, whilst conducting this BetGrouse review, an England international being played later that day didn’t have Bet Builder available, but it was offered on a Spanish Segunda Division clash kicking off at the same time.
Navigation is straightforward as all the countries and their respective leagues are listed on the left, although the “International” dropdown houses all international games plus European club competitions like the Champions League, so that’s a little confusing.
Betting on Horse Racing
BetGrouse offer a reasonable range of horse races including all UK and Irish meets plus some from Argentina, Australia, and Chile.
It’s not perfect, considering the USA, France, South Africa, and Hong Kong are all missing, but it’s decent enough for casual punters.
The overall racing betting section is pretty poor, though. BetGrouse’s odds are pretty far behind other sites and there’s no tips or supplementary info from an outlet like the Racing Post, so you have to find that info yourself.
Some races have live streaming so that gives BetGrouse a bit of reprieve, but you’re better off looking elsewhere for horse racing betting.
BetGrouse App
There isn’t a BetGrouse mobile app available on either iOS or Android and this is a great way to score badly in any betting review.
It’s not entirely doom and gloom, though, as the mobile site is optimised for smartphones so it’s similar to using an app - you just have to put up with the annoyance of not having an app ready to go.
The BetGrouse mobile site is easy enough to use, even though it’s not very attractive to look at, with the full list of sports displayed in a scroller along the top.
There’s convenient buttons along the bottom for in-play betting, your betslip, and a menu where you can go to A-Z Sports.
It also runs smoothly and loads quickly, which are both important factors if you’re trying to bet in-play or punting on an event that’s about to start.
Customer Support
Only email support is available at BetGrouse, so already it’s lagging behind other UK betting sites due to the lack of live chat.
There is a help section of FAQs that partially makes up for this as it’s pretty in-depth and covers a wide range of topics, but sometimes you just want to hop on to a live chat and get an answer to your question.
The email section is found at the bottom of the page under Contact Us and from there you have to fill in the form. This isn’t my preferred way of sending emails as there’s no way to upload pictures to help illustrate an issue.

Payment Methods
No matter which deposit method you prefer, BetGrouse has you covered. There’s debit card, ewallets, and bank transfers all available.
VISA and Mastercard debit deposits are the most popular options and PayPal is also widely-used, making it perfect for pretty much every bettor.
Still want more? BetGrouse also has Skrill, Neteller, AstroPay, Muchbetter, and Paysafecard.
The £10 minimum deposit is higher than the £5 offered by major betting sites like Paddy Power, William Hill, and bet365, but that’s the only real negative for deposits.

BetGrouse Withdrawal Time
Withdrawals from BetGrouse can take anywhere between zero and six days, according to their FAQs. Clearly, that’s not a very helpful timeframe.
This obviously depends on which withdrawal method you use and BetGrouse gives a vague amount of time for most of them, although in my experience of withdrawing from betting sites, they don’t take as long as the upper limit in the table above.
BetGrouse Casino
The BetGrouse casino is the main focus of the brand so if you like slots as well as sports, you’re in the right place.
There’s hundreds of games on offer including favourites like Book of Dead, Big Bass Bonanza, and Starburst, plus Jackpot King jackpots, live roulette, and live blackjack.
Unfortunately, navigation isn’t the strong suit of the casino as there’s no way to search for games or filter by live casino, so get ready to work that scroll button.

If you don’t want to use the sportsbook bonus, the BetGrouse welcome offer for casino gives new players a 100% deposit bonus plus 25 free spins on Book of Dead.

Responsible Gambling
The safer gambling section of BetGrouse is at the bottom of the page and brings up a window of tools that you can use to remain in control of your betting.
Deposit limits stop you from depositing a certain amount on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, whilst net deposit limits are similar except this takes into account how much you withdraw, too.
If you want to take a break, BetGrouse allows you to suspend the use of your account for either 24 hours, seven days, one month, or six weeks.
There’s also the self-exclusion option which works in an almost identical way, but deactivates your account for between six months and five years.
Final Verdict
BetGrouse is a reasonable betting site but there's lots of room for improvement, such as adding sports promos and expanding their football bet builder to be available on more games.
There's also no mobile app and the horse racing section is so basic that it may as well not exist.
On the plus side, it's pretty easy to get around the site and the BetGrouse casino is full of popular slots and live dealer games.
